Prepare your skin for the next wax

Three hacks of waxing: Growth, exfoliation, post-waxing care.
Do not forget your sunscreen because you’re going to shed off the filters
Do not forget your sheabutter moisturizer
Do not forget about staying away from bleach for 10 days
Do not forget about breakouts
Do not forget patience
What are the easier ways to prepare skin for the next waxing?
Take a look at the hands and legs for sunburns, acne and breakouts. Waxing skin without treating these minor skin issues causes burning sensation and marks. You’ve found out after a long time that there are sunburns. I was in the club until I treated it with aloe vera.
Treating sunburns before waxing – I smothered my hands and legs with aloe vera before every shower. I let it seep into skin for 30 min. I found the results really faster and it soothed the skin for the next waxing gala. Aloe Vera has healing properties and it brings on the sheen, which is desired.
Before I go to bed, I treat those spots with kukui nut oil. This indeed quickens the healing. Also, it gives that velvet touch. It could also be used as natural sunscreen, before getting into swimming pool or any other water bodies.
Treating breakouts before waxing – I got the recipe from a local dermatologist. As per his advice, I made a mask with 1 tbsp of aloe vera, along with 4 drops of tea tree oil. I applied the pack on affected spots before I went to bed.
To prepare the skin for waxing, I used to press ice pads on acne and affected areas. This reduced the pain caused by excess sebum.
Before waxing preparation
Getting rid of dead cells using loofah. They call it EXFOLIATING. I would suggest ‘Milky Orange’ Body scrub. This unclogs the ingrown hair cuticles.
The next step, I hydrate it good and well with a gel. Preparing skin for waxing has got a lot to do with wax-numbing cream.
Pre-hair removal numbing cream does worth it. Experts suggest a magical potion and I went for it. I found that it works really well. It does worth your money, i.e BareEase & Cream. I apply this one on 30 minutes before waxing. It’s really hand,y whenever I use any wax.
After waxing, I treat it with astringent, which is good at soothing.
