Throughout the entire process Ranjan & Ammanah were so helpful and responsive, very helpful with keeping me on task with uploading music and noting cues (and we’re super flexible with my wedding brain where I felt like I had a million and 1 things to do and kept forgetting to send certain songs). Absolutely loved working with them, and Vish was insanely talented. Overall, could not have asked for a better team that contributed to one of the most magical weeks of my life ??

Shivish Entertainment provided DJ services, lighting and MC services for our wedding reception on Oct 13th at Milton Ridge. They hadn't (to my knowledge) worked for a wedding at this particularly comparatively small venue and despite some bumps in the road, they were able to master a great setup with high quality sound coverage throughout the room. They also did a great job of reading the room and playing music that they thought the guests on the dancefloor would like, combined with our own personal requests. I've been following them and supporting their business for over 5 years so my expectation was definitely that they would deliver a high quality experience at our wedding reception but they went above and beyond! They even added on extra uplighting to really give the room the right ambiance. MC Riju really drove the energy at the event with his roaring voice and killer dance moves. He carefully followed the highly-detailed script that I just provided on the night before, haha. They're the best of the best and I look forward to working with them again!

This company invited us to their office early on and met with us to make sure we were comfortable and they were so professional throughout the process. MC Riju brings a great energy to the room and our guests raved about his emcee-ing skills - several of which wanted his contact after the event for their own events. DJ Shiv is very professional and took our music requests into account during his set. Everyone had a great time. The company also brought a light up dance floor (pic below) that we highly recommend if you want a showstopper for your event. Ammnah and Ranjan were also very easy to work with when it came to administrative items prior to the function. Highly recommend if you're looking for a DJ or Emcee.

This crew was incredible! We’d recommend them to absolutely anyone. They had the dance floor going all night and went above and beyond what we could have expected. This team was more than just a vendor for us; by the end of the weekend, they were like family and were a truly unforgettable part of our wedding. We hired them for our two day Indian wedding in Leesburg, VA, including DJ’ing, MC’ing, lighting, and a dholi for both days. We had three meetings with them before the wedding where we talked through our timeline, our specific music selections, and what genres of music we wanted for the dance floor. They were very thorough, and even though a few songs we discussed didn’t get played, they covered pretty much everything we asked for. The booking process was also very straightforward and flexible. They were really responsive and made suggestions based on their experience but were clearly not trying to upsell us when doing so. They also have a ton of experience with White’s Ferry Manor, the venue where we had our ceremony and reception. What really went above and beyond was the presence and energy this crew brought to our wedding, especially DJ Shiv! Shiv was on the phone with us at 2am the night before our wedding after our decorator cancelled on us. He and DJ Sameer helped us find another decorator in the middle of the night, just hours before decoration set up was supposed to begin. If you’re reading this review and considering ShiVish, you will be so happy with choosing them.

Plain and simple ShiVish Entertainment was amazing at our two-day wedding. Seriously, they knocked it out of the park... Day One – it was our religious ceremony so it was more of a Desi/Pakistani event and it was an absolute blast. DJ Vish lit up the dancefloor with his killer playlist and live mixing. He had us dancing to Bollywood and Punjabi music all night and mixed in some top-40 as well. He knew exactly what would get everyone, from kiddos to aunties and uncles going crazy on the dance floor. Day Two – a modern American wedding vibe with an Afghan flare. DJ Shiv came in just as good as his brother the previous day. He seamlessly started out the night playing some of my family's favorite Afghan songs and then switched gears to Top-40 hits, hip-hop, and house bangers. He rocked it. I need to give a huge shoutout to the heart and soul of the party – Rohit, the incredible emcee. This guy knows how to throw a party! His infectious energy, his ability to connect with the crowd – it was like having a close friend leading the festivities. Trust me, if you want your party to reach legendary status, you've got to have Rohit leading the charge. Bottom line is if you're dreaming of a wedding in which the DJ can come in and play to the vibe of your family and friends, then ShiVish Entertainment is who you want to go with. We mixed Bollywood, Afghan, Punjabi, Hip-Hop, House, and Top-40 and they made it sound amazing. With DJs who are basically musical geniuses and an emcee who's a party starter extraordinaire, they turned our wedding into a rollercoaster of love and laughter I promise you won't regret going with them. We were so impressed with the work of Vish at our wedding and reception. They truly helped make the reception a night to remember. Shivish Entertainment is so easy to work with! We had our sangeet, baraat and ceremony dj services through them. The sangeet was absolutely amazing, the emcee was phenomenal and the music was perfect. Also the uplighting really added to the entire ambience on the event. ShiVish Ent was a great team to work with for our wedding events! They were responsive and professional throughout the process. We were particular in looking for a DJ that could play a decent mix of Telugu/South Indian songs as well as the usual Bollywood and western songs, and DJ Vish delivered. It rained during the groom's baraat, but the team did their best to accommodate. The MC was really great. The add-ons we had like sparklers, fog machine, and up-lights tied the whole event together.

ShiVish Entertainment (DJ Vish and MC Riju) was incredible at our wedding! Dj ShiVish’s team of Rahull and Bosh and especially host Riju make an absolutely incredible team—from the first point of connection they were responsive, professional and prepared. Our family could upload music interests could easily upload music on their website and they also worked with us for editing certain traditional songs. From throwback jams to current artists- great mix and clean! My family is already looking forward to scheduling another event just so we can have them as DJ and Rohit as MC. He is the one of the best out there to bring a party to life. Their dhol player Arshdip was also crazy good in both the Bahrat and wedding reception, and the team also accommodated coordination of a silent disco setup which I purchased with a different vendor. We had ShiVish DJ our wedding and reception last month and were blown away with their mixes and energy. Shivish entertainment did our Sangeet event in Richmond, VA on Feb 14th , 2024. They did a great job and kept the guests dancing and entertained all evening. They even added on extra uplighting to really give the room the right ambiance. MC Riju really drove the energy at the event with his roaring voice and killer dance moves. DJ Shiva and MC Riju did our October 26th wedding and they were phenomenal! This company invited us to their office early on and met with us to make sure we were comfortable and they were so professional throughout the process. MC Riju brings a great energy to the room and our guests raved about his emcee-ing skills - several of which wanted his contact after the event for their own events. Had an amazing experience with ShiVish Entertainment recently. DJ Vish and MC Riju provided the entertainment at my cousin's graduation party recently and they did a phenomenal job. MC Riju has a wonderful talent in speaking to the crowd and hyping everyone up throughout the entire event. DJ Vish provided amazing music throughout the event as well. Everyone was up and dancing for the open floor part of the evening. Really enjoyed their presence at the event and I will definitely get them again for future events. Plain and simple ShiVish Entertainment was amazing at our two-day wedding. Seriously, they knocked it out of the park... Day One – it was our religious ceremony so it was more of a Desi/Pakistani event and it was an absolute blast. DJ Vish lit up the dancefloor with his killer playlist and live mixing. He had us dancing to Bollywood and Punjabi music all night and mixed in some top-40 as well. He knew exactly what would get everyone, from kiddos to aunties and uncles going crazy on the dance floor. Day Two – a modern American wedding vibe with an Afghan flare. DJ Shiv came in just as good as his brother the previous day. He seamlessly started out the night playing some of my family's favorite Afghan songs and then switched gears to Top-40 hits, hip-hop, and house bangers. He rocked it. I need to give a huge shoutout to the heart and soul of the party – Rohit, the incredible emcee. This guy knows how to throw a party! His infectious energy, his ability to connect with the crowd – it was like having a close friend leading the festivities. Trust me, if you want your party to reach legendary status, you've got to have Rohit leading the charge. Bottom line is if you're dreaming of a wedding in which the DJ can come in and play to the vibe of your family and friends, then ShiVish Entertainment is who you want to go with. We mixed Bollywood, Afghan, Punjabi, Hip-Hop, House, and Top-40 and they made it sound amazing. With DJs who are basically musical geniuses and an emcee who's a party starter extraordinaire, they turned our wedding into a rollercoaster of love and laughter I promise you won't regret going with them. Shivish Entertainment is the real deal. I was extremely satisfied and happy with DJ Shiv during my wedding weekend. He provided DJ and lighting, as well as dhol services, for our sangeet, baraat, ceremony, and wedding reception. Let’s start with the quality of Shiv's work. Shiv is mature beyond his years: he is extremely professional, communicates in a timely manner, and most importantly, is very talented! I was particularly impressed by Shiv's attention to detail and level of advance preparation. I consider myself to be a highly organized person and I have to say - Shiv was a step ahead of me in terms of trying to get all of the details from us prior to our event! Bravo! Now for Shiv's ability to work a crowd. Our friends and family are super into music and dancing, so having a hype dance floor at all of our events was of utmost priority to us. Shiv asked me to provide a list of songs but I told him I trusted his judgment in terms of reading the crowd and choosing accordingly. Safe to say he did not disappoint!!! The dance floor was packed at all times and Shiv even joined us on the dance floor a couple of times! I'd like to note that outside of his DJing skills, the lighting also really elevated our overall aesthetic. Can't say enough good things about Magic Mike. He is an amazing person and very professional. He was the DJ at our wedding reception, Sangeet and mehendi and his work was outstanding. I love the fact that he is so up to date with the current trends and music, he was very punctual and set up everything well before the guest arrived. He is full of creative ideas on how to make your party stand out and be the talk of the town. Some of my friends and relatives still talk about the music and lighting at my wedding. Magic Mike recently Deejayed my 40th birthday party and he made the party rock...All my friends are still talking about how great the party was as we danced into the wee hours! Mike is a seasoned DJ with all the latest as well as old music and seems to know what the crowd likes, he has actually been at most of my family's events for over 20 years now. He certainly knows how to set up any party room for the most effective display of lighting and sound. The hallmark of a great DJ is the gauging of the party crowd and mood - he certainly excels in that field. He can liven up the room in a matter of minutes. The most comforting factor with Mike is that he is genuinely a part of your event, unlike other DJs I have seen who are there just to perform their services and be done as quickly as possible. Mike actually works with you to make your event successful.

Don't think twice about booking Magic Mike! He made our reception a wonderful, happy, fun event for everyone to remember! We have absolutely no complaints, and only tons of compliments about the awesome ambience he created with the rest of his team for our special night - and I think my husband and I danced pretty much constantly (along with a packed dance floor) for almost two hours straight, because each tune was better than the rest :) And we had a multicultural wedding (I'm indian, and grew up in the Caribbean, my husband is German), and Mike made an effort to represent all of our different types of music so everyone had something to relate to. Now we need to come up with another reason just to have a party so we can have him DJ again! Thanks again, Mike!

Magic Mike (from NJ) was professional with his demeanor but I expected more quality for someone so experienced and who came recommended by our vendor, the Rockleigh Country Club. On the day of the wedding, he asked me to switch the placement of the first dance and did not seem too happy about us not agreeing with him. Songs for certain events were skipped, misplayed, and at one point three different songs played for the wrong part of the reception. He also asked me for more details about a song that was to play during a solo dance right before my reception on the day of the wedding!! Which btw, he started to play, then cut, and restarted. My poor cousin still held it together and just restarted the whole dance. He had what looked like a 13 yr. old manning the dj station while he was mcing. AND the monogram I created and gave him was all SKEWED on the dance floor- ugh - that looks so bad in pictures! He did some cool things during the party like throw streamers and he has a good voice, and played our dance list fairly close to what we wanted. But, he never played our last song.

He was on time and very professional. Music and mixing of music was awsome. Great light show. Dance floor was packed!!;Did not stick with our Do not play list songs.

I wish i could give Mike 6 stars! He DJ'd our wedding and welcome party the night before the wedding and people were coming up to me afterwards to say that he basically made our wedding. He has an incredible music selection and a great sense of what the crowd wants to hear. He had people on the floor dancing for hours both nights. He also was a deft emcee and host. My parents are divorced and i wanted to do my father-daughter dance for the first half with my dad and second half with my stepdad -- but my dad was balking at sharing the limelight. DJ Magic Mike planned the transition perfectly so it went super smoothly and my dad was totally happy with it. We had an Indian wedding so we had a mix of American and Indian music but he could easily do one or the other. Anyway Mike was awesome and i strongly recommend. He travels, too -- our wedding was in Long Island.
