Our reception had the perfect blend of Bollywood, pop/hip hop, and 80s music! Pawan and his team also designed the dance floor wrap for our reception and it turned out better than I imagined!! He is so skilled at understanding the couple, the vision, and the details!! On top of that, he did our events at 2 venues he had never been to in Atlanta before, and he did a phenomenal job with setting/lighting up the venues to look beautiful and worked extremely well with our venue staff, wedding planner, and other vendors. His dance floor wrap and video wall were exceptional as well. Our venues can be difficult to work with for vendors, so we ran into some logistical issues during the planning process, and he was incredibly easy-going and accommodating in working with us to find solutions that worked for everyone. I was so thrilled to have found DJ Kash to help make our Sangeet a memorable experience for everyone! I found him through instagram, as one of the premier South Asian DJ's in the triangle area, and after listening to his sets, I knew he would be the perfect fit for our event. We reached out, and within a few weeks, we had a signed contract, he had added at my request, a Dholi and I felt that he would deliver even though we'd booked him over a year in advance. Kashif is professional, fun, and can read a crowd and vibe incredibly well. He blended western music with Bollywood hits and for our Sangeet he played a live, mixed set which was DOPE. Everyone loved the music and would not get off the dance floor. Additionally, he was incredibly flexible- I had literally no direction for him (mostly because I trusted him) and he was able to accommodate last minute requests without complaints. There were many things we asked for that did not happen at my wedding. My father gave a playlist, and DJ Kash didn't play much of anything from the playlist - just some of the instrumentals. The list did include some dance tracks that he played but not many. He also didn't play the instrumental version of our entrance song and played it really late, we were already halfway into the entrance by the time it started playing. Furthermore, he welcomed everybody before my parents did, which upset them alot. Also, my dad asked not to have silences and to play low level background music at all times which also didn’t happen. He also only played a few of my husbands songs from his playlist. The songs he did choose were often inappropriate for my audience , with expletives. Low by Flo Rida was an example of this. For these reasons my husband and father were actively upset with the music during the reception. In addition, he was very slow to respond and didn't call my father back at all for example. He also charged 50$ per each remix of one piece of music and needed all the points where to mix the songs, so we made the mixes ourselves. I did try to relay this privately but got no response until this review. He did respond and apologize for the items mentioned, therefore I’ll update to 3 stars.

Our wedding was Fusion – Indian/American, and Kash did a great job getting everyone out on the dance floor. I found him through instagram, as one of the premier South Asian DJ's in the triangle area, and after listening to his sets, I knew he would be the perfect fit for our event. DJ Pawan is simply the best. Would give 10 stars if I could. We used his company for DJ, lighting, and emcee services for our Sangeet, baraat, wedding, and reception in Asheville. He was very easy to work with, incredibly responsive, flexible throughout the entire process, and clearly very organized. It was also clear he has a tremendous amount of experience with being a wedding DJ. We wanted a mix of Bollywood, Bhangra, South Indian, hip hop, and pop music which he integrated seamlessly. I will tell you that both nights of our wedding were absolutely lit and that can be largely attributed to Pawan’s mastery of his craft. Many of our friends and family came up to us throughout the night and afterwards to tell us how great the DJ was. On top of it all, the lighting, cold sparklers, smoke machine, and other services he provides added so much to the effects and vibe. He had several options for photo booths as well. Every option he provided us, he was honest and tried to match with what we wanted for our wedding instead of attempting to sell us the most expensive option. Deejay Money was also very great, easy to work with, very nice, and helped to keep the energy up. In summary, there is simply no better choice for your wedding than hiring Pawan’s team. It was one of the best decisions we made.

He came up with ideas of music to be played during the “pheras”. That definitely added a lovely touch to the ceremony. We heard lot of good things about that for sure. He had made sure to discuss the music with me (since I was planning the wedding for the most part) and gave me suggestions, too, but also took time to go over it with my son and DIL to get their input. I appreciated that. Of course, he made the reception evening also fun by getting the crowd excited during the entry, speeches, etc. To top it off, he obliged me by playing the slideshow during reception (I had needed someone at the last minute).
