Finding a good photographer for a reasonable price is extremely difficult. My fiancé and I thought we had done just that, except 48 hours before our wedding our photographer cancelled. We were left scrambling to find someone on short notice. Luckily we found Rakesh. We didn’t have a lot of time to get to know him but he agreed to shoot our wedding and we hoped for the best. He showed up on time and from our first impression we had struck GOLD. He was extremely courteous and professional right off the bat and got right to work. Without direction he blended into our party and took candid shots of our guests. During the ceremony he was able to capture all the key moments you would expect then gave us a minute before all the glitzy one on one photos you want for the album. He had already scoped out the property for the best spots where the lighting and backdrop was just right and proceeded to position us to get the best results. I mean honestly, he stopped to show us how the pictures were coming out and we were blown away. At this point we started to forget about pictures and just be ourselves and have fun. After the one on one and family shots we were free to get back to our party and guests, but Rakesh continued to take candid shots. By the end of the night most people in our party felt so comfortable with him they thought he was a personal friend of ours that was photographing our wedding as a favor to us. He had amazing energy and read the room like no one I’ve ever seen. Truly a blessing to have him capture your event, but on 48 hrs notice it was literally a miracle. We would recommend him for anyone and 100% plan on using him in the future.

I hired this company to do the photography for my daughter's sweet 16 at the recommendation of her friend's mother who used to same company for her daughter's sweet 16 last fall. While their prices weren't the lowest of the companies we looked at, having a personal recommendation meant the most to me, so we booked them. They also helped with some of the décor for the venue, as much of what they had in their portfolio matched the aesthetic that my daughter had put together in her pinterest board. We were thrilled to find a company that did multiple things. My daughter—being a typical teenager—didn't really care that much about the photographer we chose, but once we got the pictures back, she was really excited about them. I think that the special moments were captured perfectly; I was really happy with how the party came out; everything looked great. The additional decorations helped bring everything together. It took a little longer than I might have expected to get the photos, but ultimately our experience was a good one. I would recommend them to others for sure!

Planning a wedding to begin with was very overwhelming with having to pick the Dj, venue, florist, and photographer but Sameer made the whole process easy. he was very professional and very attentive to our needs. Raj Photo and Video did the videography for our wedding in Chelsea, New York this April. We hired them just before the event and they were completely professional from the first moment we contacted them. I'm going to be honest...we planned our wedding January (2016) on a very tight budget. I wanted a photographer and videagrapher that wasn't going to cost an arm and a leg. That's when I came across Raj Photo Video. There's that saying that says you pay what you get for...well compared to other costs I wasn't expecting anything spectacular. Wedding day comes and goes they are there we do pictures they were around all night and they recorded everything. Flash forward a week or two we get our highlight reel from the wedding we were OBSESSED with it. We then got all our edited images and I loved them. The hard part was picking out pictures for the album...I did so about 10 months later (oops). I came home today from work to find my wedding album not at all expecting it and I absolutely am in love. It was not at all what I was expecting. It's perfect! Lesson learned...sometimes you find honest at home guys who don't charge you like other photographers for working out of their own homes! Raj photo video had just done my wedding in Indianapolis. I've have nothing but great things to say about the experience that my wife and I have had using this amazing team. My wife had seen these guys at another family wedding and told me we had to go with them. The price was way more than what I expected but so was absolutely everything during the wedding planning process. Sameer come to Boston to do our engagement shoot. He knew how much I didn't want to do any of this and was able to turn my day into such a fun time. He brought a lot of positive energy. Moving forward a few months to the wedding.We had about 6 events that required their services. The whole team was there on time and dressed professionally. I can't stress how important it is to me that they dressed professionally.I've been to weddings and have seen vendors wear jeans and hoodies and these are big weddings with 300 plus people. These guys were clean and Sharp. When you're getting married pictures can become very annoying. Where do i begin... I got engaged back in 2014 and immediately began looking for a photographer/videographer for my wedding. There are not enough good things to say about working with this team. They were incredibly professional, punctual, and most importantly talented. We used them for our wedding. All of the events were well photographed, the videos are great, and their personalities made us comfortable around them. They even got our wedding photos back to us with editing in 3 weeks, crazy fast. I highly recommend working with them.

They did an absolutely wonderful job with our photos! Everything looks absolutely stunning and is better than we could have imagined. My husband and I both tend to be camera shy and insecure about how we look in photos, but the way they posed us and lit everything made us feel like movie stars! They also captured so many sweet, fun, and genuine moments of both us and our guests. My husband and I chose Raj Photo/Video for our Nikkah ceremony and wedding reception in September of 2021. My family has many events, and this was the first time that I felt complete security that the team I hired would take note of all our requests, however big or small, and have a true interest in capturing our most special moments. Sameer, Ajay, and Nick made themselves available to discuss with me the timeline of each day, went over poses/photos that we wanted to shoot. The communication was seamless, and I honestly could not have been happier to just focus on getting married and having fun. This was all reflected in the final product. A true thing of magic! Our family adores our photos and especially our wedding highlight/video. The emotions and love captured hits right every single time we watch it! It was important to us that we had a team that understood our culture and religion as well -- without going into too much detail, they knew exactly what moments needed to be captured at all the perfect angles. We never worried that they were based in NJ, and we were having our wedding out in Suffolk County at my home. They came early and did not miss a beat. I truly forgot they were located out of state. Do not worry, they will dedicate their time and give you 150%. Not only that, but Sameer was the best bridesmaid! He was always there to help me carry and set my train. Ajay and Nick also made sure my husband and I were having a good time. My only regret was not booking them for every single one of my events. We gained lifelong friends here with these guys!

The Videos are taken with great expertise, edited the final version with very good appropriate background music. The color and clarity/ focus are superb. I recommend strongly. Reasonable price. Friendly and smiling service at the wedding events. It shows his maturity and experience.

Both Sameer (photographer) and Ajay (videographer) went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable. They got the pictures we wanted and the footage needed for our video. When we ran into a few hiccups with time, they stayed a little past the allotted time to make sure they captured what was needed to put our photos and video together.

We had been to 7 other places because we wanted to compare quality and rate. His photographs were truly amazing. I ve seen and spoke to many photographers in other weddings and also searching for my own but sameer and ajay were probably the sweetest, patient, caring and the most humble people to work with. Starting with my My engagment shoot, it was about 30 degrees by the water side Sameer was out there without any gloves, hands red and frozen but yet still with a smile on his face, ready to take any suggestions, trying so hard to take perfect pictures . the pictures came out breath taking. Literally everything i asked for. His whole group had nothing but smiles on there faces through both of my events. i cant even think about how many people asked about there services and complimented them. and now for future events i will only go to them. they are worth every penny for sure.
