It is through visualizing what these answers are to me, and interpreting them on artistic media, that I can be inspired to create another unique art every time without repetition. Before I make a painting, or even start working on the canvas, I detail the entire painting in my imagination. My oil paintings generally represent the transition from darkness to light. Life has periods of darkness, represented by dark colors and some rough textures, then through the healing process can be transformed into the light.
