Vinay recently hosted my daughter’s 5th birthday party and we all had a blast. He is a really good dj and anchor. He took great care to get to know us and curated the event as per my preference and played my daughter’s favorite songs. My 5 yr old enjoyed a full 4 hr event and dint get tired all thanks to him. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor. It’s tricky to handle a kids party and entertain kids and adults alike. Can’t recommend him enough. ??

Vinay did some mimicry acting like Dev Anand and also told some stories around him which were unknown for most audience. This was in addition to their singing and came as another surprise for my mom and all guests. I had some games planned during the event which did not happen because the party did run somewhat out of schedule. However, I would still give them 5 stars since the main intention of the games was to engage guests and they were kept engaged anyway. We got good feedback from several guests that the party ran very nice and a lot of credit does go to Vinay and Aparna. We would highly recommend the duo.

I don’t know where to even start on how magnificent of a singer, entertainer and person she and her husband are. I hired them to sing at my Dad’s 70th birthday party. It was truly a magical day because of them. They are more than just singers. They were like family. They interacted with everyone, played some fun games and their singing was out of this world, great! Extremely professional and their attention to detail was great. They played all my dad’s favorite songs and everyone was so happy. 2 weeks later, I’m still getting calls from my family thanking me and singing their praises. Attended a 75th birthday part for a doctor friend and Mehekte Sur was the entertainer. We were all on the floor for over 2 hours on their Live singing and did not even feel the need for a DJ. Vinay recently hosted my daughter’s 5th birthday party and we all had a blast. He is a really good dj and anchor. He took great care to get to know us and curated the event as per my preference and played my daughter’s favorite songs. My 5 yr old enjoyed a full 4 hr event and dint get tired all thanks to him. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor. Over this past Memorial Day weekend (May 26, 2024) I gave my mom a surprise birthday party for her 75th. Pre-planned everything a month ahead of time. He took great care to get to know us and curated the event as per my preference and played my daughter’s favorite songs. My 5 yr old enjoyed a full 4 hr event and dint get tired all thanks to him. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor. Friends giving and a mehfil that will be truly remembered due the efforts of Vinay and Aparna from Mehete Sur. They had a unique way to become one of us (mind you we are middle school friends in our fifties) getting us all involved and even getting people with two left feet dance away. They both have great voices and more so the warmth and love they sing with. The range of songs from 1950 to 2022 they covered favourites and they truly became the jaan of our get together. This is one amazing Jodi! We connected so well in the initial conversation regarding my event, that I just had to find a way to make it work for them to sing in Chicago for my friends and family. Saw them last night at Samudra in NJ. Have been hearing them on and off for a while but this was the first time that we heard them in close quarters. Their singing and confidence is par excellence. They have such a broad range in their voices that they can sing songs from several decades. My favorites are the songs from 60s and 70s.

Awesome experience. We hired Mehekte Sur to perform at our sangeet event. The cross cultural nature of our marriage made it all the more challenging. They were a big hit! Their warm and easy personality made it effortless to work with them as we created our sangeet event timeline and selected music. The most important thing to us was keeping everyone engaged and on the dance floor when the DJ played his music. Vinay and Aparna were able to provide a great sangeet experience,which also included traditional Punjabi live singing, for our diverse guests (Indian, non Indian, young, old) . Hands down one of the best Valentine’s Parties we have attended in a long time. Mehekte Sur did a great job with the planning and their personalized entertainment offering. Emcee Vinay was the soul of the party and kept everyone engaged. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute we were there.

Mehekte Sur did a fabulous job at our wedding reception. We had a good mix of Indians and Caucasian friends/colleagues and DJ Vinay did an amazing job. Excellent mix of English and Desi songs. Live singing was on the mark and added a good variety to the offering. Two thumbs up.

Mehekte Sur team did an awesome job organizing a Ghazal evening for our private family friends gathering recently. Their ensemble was great, complete with Manoj Ji leading the ghazal front preformed very soulfully and Prateek Ji at tabla. Evening ended with live songs from Aparna and Vinay. Great time and Mehekte Sur team was really energetic and in tune with the evening's mood!

I hired Mehekte Sur for a house party to celebrate my wife's birthday. I had hired them since they sing Marathi songs. All our guests were amazed by their talent and we got full value for our money. Super variety of songs including fast numbers that had all of us dancing. Super jodi and very personable.

I saw the Mehekte Sur jodi in action at the Nirvana Anniversary celebration. They were awesome with their live singing as well as the DJ music which had everyone on the floor. Great selection of songs - Punjabi, Gujarati, Bollywood..... Vinay was proactive and had our tracks for our dance performance all set up beforehand. Highly recommended!

We hired Mehekte Sur for Holiday Party of Jain Jagruti Center New Jersey on Dec-09-2017. Both Vinay & Aparna were fabulous. The song selection was fantastic and the unique thing about them was that the Romantic duets seemed so genuine as they are a married couple. Vinay made the games and proceedings much more fun with his Emcee skills and ended the evening with some great DJ music. They are super value for your money and we would highly recommend them to make any event a memorable one.

Mehekte Sur performed for our pre-wedding sangeet party. They organized everything right from food, DJ and dance to music- antakshari for the guests! They planned ahead of time, collected pictures and memories from our friends and created a surprise video for us. They also put together interesting games for our guests and made the event engaging and memorable! Awesome experience. We hired Mehekte Sur to perform at our sangeet event. The cross cultural nature of our marriage made it all the more challenging. They were a big hit! Their warm and easy personality made it effortless to work with them as we created our sangeet event timeline and selected music. The most important thing to us was keeping everyone engaged and on the dance floor when the DJ played his music. Vinay and Aparna were able to provide a great sangeet experience,which also included traditional Punjabi live singing, for our diverse guests (Indian, non Indian, young, old) . I hired Mehekte Sur for my engagement party as my parents are big fans of the Golden Era songs and wanted a segment for the same at my engagement party for their friends. Vinay and Aparna worked with us to not only cover that segment but also spent time with us to plan the songs for the couple dance at the start of the event. They really surprised us with their versatility in singing by creating a customized medley of fast songs that really set the mood before the DJ music kicked in. Aparna and Vinay made our family reunion and my dad’s upcoming 80th birthday celebration extra special with their music. I was really impressed with their versatility and ability to get others to join in - both to dance and to sing. I was lucky to be at a party where the TV celebrities, Vinay and Aparna, were performing. Oh boy, they completely mesmerized the crowd with their rendition of some of the best Bollywood songs. I have become a huge fan and will certainly attend some of their future shows.
