He first assisted with tying our safas (headgear) for several men in advance of the wedding ceremony. He then played the dhol (indian musical instrument) for our baraat (indian wedding processional with dancing) prior to our ceremony. Finally, he played the tablas (indian musical instrument) during our cocktail hour set list and even did an impromptu collaboration with violin/cello instrumentalists for 2 more Hindi songs. One of the highlights was the baraat procession, where he led the groom's entrance with such vigor that set the perfect tone for the wedding. After researching various places for a singer for our sangeet ceremony we found Saikat. From initial contact through to performing on the day he was accommodating, helpful and an excellent performer. He kept all our requests and gave a dramatic performance involving each and every guest on the event. Not only a great singer he is an excellent human being.. we would all like to hear more from him..

Your voice is amazing and your performance had such a varied repertoire, there was something for everyone. Looking forward to you performance at the weddings next year. Thank you Saikat, for another wonderfully energetic performance at the Diwali Dhamaka in Harrisburg, PA. We had people of all ages from different corners of India and everyone had a blast! Over the years you have come to Central PA to perform at Durga Pujas, Diwali, and personal events such as my son’s graduation. At times, the facilities were less than perfect ?? but you have always been able to engage the audience and deliver outstanding performances. Keep rocking with your shows!!
