He first assisted with tying our safas (headgear) for several men in advance of the wedding ceremony. He then played the dhol (indian musical instrument) for our baraat (indian wedding processional with dancing) prior to our ceremony. Finally, he played the tablas (indian musical instrument) during our cocktail hour set list and even did an impromptu collaboration with violin/cello instrumentalists for 2 more Hindi songs. One of the highlights was the baraat procession, where he led the groom's entrance with such vigor that set the perfect tone for the wedding. Right from the day I heard his music video..I wanted to have Saikat in my private event. I have never heard a better rendition of kishore kumar songs .We were just blown away. Soulful voice and a great performer..highly recommended.

After researching various places for a singer for our sangeet ceremony we found Saikat. From initial contact through to performing on the day he was accommodating, helpful and an excellent performer. He kept all our requests and gave a dramatic performance involving each and every guest on the event.
