Geeta is such an awesome makeup artist, she did my bridal makeup. If I ever need to do my makeup she’s the person I’d go to. It’s unfortunate she doesn’t live here anymore but I would recommend her to anybody without a doubt.

Geet did my ladies sangeet/jago make up! Her communication was great and she was fun to talk to. She understood that I didn’t want a cakey looking face. We did a fun glam look with green liner. I felt like a bride that day! She made me feel beautiful. She also took some great shots which she shared with me. :) I wish I had hired her for my wedding, too. Oh, and her prices are so much more reasonable than other artists in the Bay Area!

I happen to find Geet while searching for an artist for Bridal Henna and Makeup Services on Instagram. Her prices were reasonable compared to a lot of the other artist and she was accommodating at the same time. I was having a Telugu wedding so we also did a trial.. I first met Geet when she did my Mehendi for my wedding. She is a really sweet person and fun to talk to. She nailed the traditional Mehendi designs I was looking for. Geet did an amazing job as my HMUA on my wedding day. She was regularly in touch with me long before my wedding and gave me several consultations to understand my skin & preferences. Geet applied hardcore hairspray to my look, and the curls maintained even in the rain!! She even braved the elements to join me at the venue to finish my look. I was confused and picky and took a lot of time because I had a western gown for the ceremony and Indian traditional saree for the reception. When I went for a hair and makeup trial, Geet asked me a lot of questions to understand what I was looking for. She took the time to understand my skin type and gave me suggestions to help me narrow down the looks. She had a person to pre pleat the saree for me, who was easy to work with. Geet was amazing to get me ready. She did amazing job of getting me ready on my marriage. I usually someone who doesn't wear a lot of makeup, and she gave me a look that felt like 'me' but elevated. Geet worked with me for my henna, Haldi ceremony, wedding day In South San Jose. She did a great job with my hair, makeup, saree placement and arm/feet mehndi. She is connected to a team of different stylists specializing in florals (for my Haldi ceremony flower jewelry, wedding garlands, hair florals), saree pleaters, henna artists, facial artists, and other hair/ makeup artists who worked on my mom and MIL's hair and makeup. Geet also had a team of henna artists who came and provided henna for our guests. Geet has a great eye for detail. She did consultations with me beforehand to see what my vision was for my hair and makeup. She does makeup really well, I don't like heavy makeup and she accommodated my needs and my normally frizzy hair looked very sleek. She did my reception, hair and makeup change after the ceremony. I would highly recommend Geet and her team for your Indian wedding.

I booked her for gurdwara hair, make up and draping as well as same day reception hair, make up, and draping - both were perfect. She met in person in advance to make sure my needs for upcoming events were met, checked in via texts leading up to events, she also has a great checklist of reminders to do before the big day (like even airing out dresses that are from abroad! Thank you, just little things too that are importantly that you might forget). I had zero confidence in getting the right flowers for my hair and Geet got them the day before and fridged them to have ready for me the next day. I was so grateful for this. Mitasha and her team did my hair and makeup for my big day and I could not have been happier! Specifically, Mitasha did my makeup and Sush did my hair. They were both consummate professionals and Mitasha even worked with me prior to my big day to do a trial run for the makeup to figure out what I did and didn't like. I have never done full glam makeup and hair in my life but I truly felt like I was a princess in a fairytale on my big day all thanks to Mitasha and Sush. They both made me and my family feel so comfortable and made me feel like they had my back throughout my big day. The makeup and hair lasted the entire day for pictures and when I came home at the end of the day and removed everything, my skin and hair did not feel worn out. I believe Mitasha and Sush used high quality products on my face and hair, which was reflected in how I felt both during my big day and afterwards. I have extremely acne prone skin and sensitive hair and I did not break out or experience any hair issues afterwards. Mitasha and Sush even gave me a hair and makeup kit for touch-ups throughout the day but besides lipstick, I didn't really need to use it. What I loved about the service provided was how special they both made me feel and how they truly listened to my needs and implemented what I wanted for my look. Mitasha and the rest of her hair/make up team were incredibly professional and fun to work with for the entirety of my Indian wedding weekend. They were able to execute such unique and different looks for my mehndi, haldi, wedding ceremony and reception events with ease. As someone who is not very well versed in make-up, and only sent inspiration pictures, I felt Mitasha and her team outperformed anything I could have imagined for myself. They were open to suggestions, were honest with me when they thought something would not look good, and were timely with their execution. One of her team members even went out of her way to help drape a sari of mine, since I was running a tad late, even though we did not hire them for this service. She also gave me plenty of supplies to keep my make up looking fresh throughout the day from extra powder, to lip gloss to an extra set of lashes. I cannot say enough great things about her and the rest of the M-Sutra Bride team. I would recommend them to any friend or family member of mine in a heart beat. I normally dislike any professional hair or makeup on me but Mitasha’s team is absolutely magic!! I loved how I looked each day and was so happy with how well the makeup and hair stayed throughout all the sweating and dancing. During the bridal trial, Mitasha blended different foundations to ensure coverage of the different pigmented spots. She was extremely attentive and sensitive to my skin issues/insecurities, and because of her, I felt incredibly confident in my skin during my wedding weekend. Richa did a great job with my hair styling and makeup for my silver anniversary celebration. I was bit nervous as I have not really got done makeup from someone for a long time. I wanted makeup which is natural and makes me feel myself. She was awesome. I loved the way I looked after she did the makeup. She is very accommodating too (I asked her to do light makeup for my mom which was not planned and she readily agreed to do that) and also recommends what would look good on you (she suggested curls for hair). I was not planning to get the eye makeup done but she suggested it would look good and I just trusted her, it really looked good. I got the threading and upper lip done as well both for myself and my mom. She also suggested me dupatta draping ideas for my lahenga and did the draping. Shruti is amazing!! I didn’t have time to plan out the exact look I wanted, I just had a function and needed her to drape me and do my make up and hair - to be ready by 5am. Showed up on time to setup, made it so easy..and it has been so long since I’ve had someone do my make up and where I liked it this much. Make up stayed and looked so good but didn’t look cakey! Highly recommend!

Shruthi was one of my first choices of make up artists in town. I stay in the US but her Instagram page lured me to pick her for my big day without a doubt even before meeting her or without a trial. She is extremely patient and punctual. I looked amazing and they couldn’t believe how natural the makeup looked! I was so calm all morning because I knew I was in such great hands. I really loved the makeup shruti did for my engagement! Received lots of compliments from everyone :) everyone kept asking who the artist was :) I had a Saree change during the event and she did it so quickly and perfectly.. She had 2 other bookings on the same day but she managed to reach the venue on time as promised.
