I went Monalisha salon on my wedding day for Bridal Makeup, Hair Style, Sarhee setup and Jewlery setup. It was my first experience with 'Yasmin jee' and 'Jyoti jee'. I have been coming to this salon for years now for a range of different services from henna to eyebrows to waxes. The service is always excellent! I have to give a huge shoutout to Yasmeen though. She is so friendly and great at what she does. I refuse to let anyone else do my eyebrows- If she isn’t there then I’m coming back when she is. The prices are also very reasonable and the salon is so clean. 10/10

I got my bridal makeup and hair done here and was reasonably pleased with the services. Ms Jyoti was nice and persistent. However, after receiving similar services in India, I realised following things would have made the makeup much better: 1. Moisturization - My face wasn't moisturised before makeup which led to enhanced visibility of the creases around my eyes and laugh lines. 2. Makeup wasn't long lasting- my makeup couldn't survive 3 hours of Houston summer. This isn't expected considering one is paying $350 for bridal makeup and hair. 3. Too much blush- such that it looks unnatural. If these things are taken care of, the services would be incredible.

I had a gold facial appointment today at the salon & I was left thoroughly satisfied. Chetna was wonderful. Along with the facial, she massaged my neck and face area and it was the most relaxing experience. I would definitely recommend getting a facial here. My skin feels light, smooth and perfect.

Lovely experience at Monalisha Salon. We did a family facial and all of us enjoyed it. The haircut and waxing services were great too.

I chose to go there for $65 Organic facial, plus add on $20 for neck. The pros/good: nice, pleasant customer greeting. Very informed of their product. Cons: (massage is about the scents, therapeutic touch, comfort talk and cleanliness, attention to detail..) LACKING: the products went in my right eye, the velcro on the gown DIDN'T work, the change from hot air on the face to Cold ice on the face WAS SHOCKING to body, the careless hanging of the clothes to touch the wall not cool.. my eye rows were threaded to match...This place is not for everyone..I paid $85.00 but I will not go back.[ I Prefer 'Hands and Stone' or 'ULTA' for facials.]

Few weeks ago I went in wax and eyebrow service and it was a very pleasant experience. Yasmeen is really good at waxing would hight recommend her. She was really quick so less painful.

Chetna Aunty did a wonderful job with my diamond facial! She was really sweet and I felt thoroughly relaxed throughout. My skin was glowing afterwards! I’ll definitely be back. The only reason I gave one less star is because when I got there I told her my boyfriend and I wanted the $25 facial and at the end she charged us both for the $45 one. The whole experience was worth it so I didn’t mind spending extra but I did feel a little blindsided.

We did the Thermo Facial 3 times with Chetna Patel and she did wonderful job. I would go with her aging and aging. The way she does the massage is wonderful.

I got my facial done with Yasmin..she is really good and knowledgeable about skin types. Takes her time and gives really good recommendations. Will definitely go back

She has a wide range of facials, but she insisted that she will look into my skin and then decide. I gave her a number$, and she worked with me on that, and i was happy both the times. I generally update my reviews, if anything changes in the service etc. So if you dont see any updates, it means i am still going to her and love it!

A family-owned, and very well kept place! I honestly have only gone to get my eyebrows done, but like all of my friends who do, the cheap price (even when you include tip) is so worth the sweet staff who ask how you're doing, are sure that you're comfortable, and that you like the end result before you leave. They accept walk-in's for eyebrow threading, but I am not sure about more time-consuming services. I'm sure they'd accommodate you.

Came for a facial and eyebrows and a back facial. Chetna did a great job and my face looks beyond clear, the face massage she gave me was amazing! Only thing I would say is make sure you agree on the price ahead of time. When I called I was told one price and when I checked out I was charged double. Which is fine if I just new ahead of time. Besides that I 100% suggest this place for a facial. It’s a 5 star because of that!!

I recently went to Monalisa to try out their highlights service. The colour on my hair came out to be so beautiful. The product used on my hair did not give me any irritation or itchy experience. The whole process was completed smoothly. The owner of the salon is extremely humble and provides customize suggestion to each client. The service is highly budget friendly for the quality that is provided. Highly recommending to try out Monalisa for any of their service.

I’ve been coming here for years. I get both my eyebrows done and facials here pretty regularly. Chetna does a really good job of making one feel relaxed and massages the face to help with drainage well. They have various types of facials at various prices...starting from about $25 to about $60/$70. I highly recommend.

I love coming here for all of my salon and spa needs. I have had the best experience getting waxed by Yasmeen, she is so quick and great. I got full henna done on my hands by Joti and she did an amazing job. I highly recommend coming here. And as always, excellent customer service!

The staff were really nice and It was honestly the best haircut I have ever gotten in my life. Yasmeen was the hairdresser who cut my hair and she did such a good job of cutting and styling my hair in the way that I wanted while also making sure that it looks good. 10/10 would recommend for haircutting :)

I’ve been frequenting this wonderful salon and spa for over 4 yrs. The services I utilize are every 2 weeks my eyebrows stringed and they always come out perfect. A Brazilian wax every 4 weeks facial once a month and hair colored washed and conditioned every 3-3.5 weeks. Everyone there is extremely personable and friend. I tend to enjoy just being able to spend time there relaxing and having good conversations with everyone. I always look forward to that next visit. My wonderful stylist and Anesthetician in one that provides all my services whom I love her to death and wouldn’t replace her is MODI she always takes good care of me. Everyone there is wonderful also she’s just my personal #1. The prices are impeccable and unbeatable well worth the money.

I love Monalisha salon! I recommend Ms. Yasmeen for ANYTHING you may need - she is my go-to for brows, waxing and even Brazilian waxing. She is very professional and ensures that the client feels as comfortable as possible. I am such a baby when it comes to pain, but I am thankful to be able to have a caring and wonderful expert such as Ms. Yasmeen during these procedures. Ms. Joti is also very sweet and all the women who work here are wonderful. I hope this review helps someone!

I have tried all other salons for my eyebrow shaping but none can set them like Yasmin( been going only to her from past few years) if you make an appointment with Yasmin you will be in and out of the salon in 40mins max for full body waxing and eyebrow threading. She is super fast and amazing.

I got facial eyebrows and oil massage ( it was haven) her hands are just amazing and I am impressed with the service I received from Chitra .i have tried so many solutions in Houston but I believe Chitra is the best in the city . We chatted from start to finish, she asked for my preferences & made recommendations based on my needs. She also offered a deep protein conditioning treatment , which should last for 6 weeks. Overall the vibe is very chill very supportive I would highly recommend this salon & would consider returning. I would have given 19 star I’m so happy with the service of Chitra

I went in for a facial with Chetna auntie a month ago and she took the time to use the products best for my skin type and was very nice. I could definitely tell the difference in my skin after. Not even 4 weeks later and I've already gone back for another facial. Highly recommended!

I got my organic keratin hair straightening by Jasmine! She did a great job. It was such a long process but i didn’t feel annoyed as they keep talking to us n give a family atmosphere. Yasmeen was too sweet and understood my concerns and gave me great services. Her haircut is also great! She doesn’t cut hairs too short! Thanks yasmeen!

I had an excellent experience! Yasmeen is a knowledgeable expert at the Organic straightening service. She performed it on my curly, frizzy, and very thick hair and turned them into a soft, silky, completely straight, and very manageable bunch. I will definitely go back to this salon for the other services that they offer as well.

I called to get a henna tattoo and they were able to squeeze me in pretty fast! This was my first time getting a henna tattoo and I absolutely loved it! Jyoti was very professional and did everything I asked her to do and more… and it was not expensive at all!! I will definitely be coming back to see her.
