Shardiya Navratri 2024 – 2nd day of navratri: Worship of Goddess Brahmacharini (October 4th, 2024)

On the second day of  Navaratri Shardiya Navratri, devotees invoke and worship Goddess Brahmacharini, the unmarried form of Goddess Parvati, who represents devotion, asceticism, and spiritual enlightenment. 5. Chanting of Mantras:

Recite the mantra, "?????????????????????? (Om Devi Brahmacharinyai Namah)" 108 times to seek her blessings.

6. Reading of the Brahmacharini Vrat Katha:

Narrate or listen to the story (Vrat Katha) of Goddess Brahmacharini’s penance and her unwavering determination to marry Lord Shiva.

7. Aarti (Devotional Song):

Conclude the worship with the Brahmacharini Aarti, expressing devotion and reverence.
