We're Shiv & Shikha, the husband and wife team behind Bombay Sandwich Co. As healthy and active New Yorkers we've always craved fresh and nutritious food to accommodate our busy lifestyle, but we grew tired of the same old options - fried food, soggy salad, imitation meat and gluten products trying to taste like something else. we took matters into our own hands and debuted our original recipes at the renowned Brooklyn food festival, Smorgasburg. It was there under a little tent that we developed a loyal following of foodies who loved our fresh, seasonal ingredients and homemade chutneys and pickles sandwiched between slices of whole grain goodness. Just fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, select Ayurvedic herbs and spices. That's how we prepare our foods, gently, with a lot of steaming, chopping, and doing things the old way.
