I recently moved to Dallas, Texas and drove my car from California. Upon my arrival my front right wheel bearing got shattered which damaged the hub assembly as well. I was in a desperate need of a mechanic and I found Sams Auto Care on Google. I made an appointment with Sam over the phone and took my car in for the repair. Sam gave me a 5 star service and fixed my car and saved me money with a discount. He is a professional and absolutely knows how to treat his customers with honesty. I have a couple more things that needs to get fixed in my car so I made my next appointment before I left. He did an amazing job on my car with the right price and now the car runs like a champ again. I will be driving to Kansas City in a few weeks to see my family with a peace of mind. Hi everyone!! I did some suspension work on my 06 Jetta at this place . They replaced my Sway bar and Strut Mounts. Everything went good with Sway bar , no questions. But I am still wondering why after replacing my Strut Mounts I can still hear that noisy squeaking sound in the cold weather.(Control Arm Mounts,bushings,ball joints,struts were replaced before). So it's your choice to come here or not. Overall it's good.

This place did excellent work brake service on my car, for the best deal in DFW, AND let me bring in the part I bought from Ford. They won’t recommend services you don’t need, just to gouge you for more money, like Firstone or the like, and they even let my dog wait with me in the customer waiting area. I will definitely take my car to Sam’s Auto Care for anything it needs in the future — and any car I subsequently purchase!

I have used many different car repair places over the 35 years I have been in Dallas and Sam's is the best place I have been. I do not feel like they are trying to sell me repairs that I do not need!! They are honest, fast working and deliver the right goods. I highly recommend them! I have taken a Honda, Lexus, Mazda tribute and will take my Volvo when repairs are needed. They came recommended by the window tint folks next door. They said I will never be disappointed and so far they are right!

Have to been to Sam's Auto care two times. Once for Vehicle inspection and they were pretty quick with report and did the job nicely and explained me report very well, which i submitted for vehicle registration. Second time went their Car Oil change and again they were very quick and got the job done in less than half an hour. Got the best price for the oil change and cheapest one in the area. Even my friend had good experience with his car repair. Gave the genuine quote and charged less than quote after actual repair was done.

Willing to work with you depending on your circumstances. I am a student who doesn't have a ton of disposable income. When my window motor stopped working, I had the option to spend 300 dollars getting new parts and labor. Luckily I was also offered the option to stick some wood from home depot in the door panel to hold up the window, which saved me tons of money. A real honest business.

Car was driving fine one day- Out of nowhere engine light is flashing and car is rattling, shaking etc. Went to Huffines- I have a Chrysler Town and Country. They put the machine on it and said I had a Cylinder misfire.(Need to repair camshaft and lifter) Then proceeds to tell me it will cost $2500-4000 and there is 1week delay in services AND when they start it will be 1 week without my vehicle. Of course, I am freaking out and stressed at the price and entire ordeal but I need my car so I was wanted to quote another service provider. Wanted a 2nd opinion. Went to Christian Brothers- They said the same thing - Cyliner Misfire. They said I needed to replace my camshaft and one of my cylinders $4500 I am extremely stressed that one gonna have dip into my home buying savings. Lastly tried Sam's! He checked it. Told me it was a cylinder misfire. Told me all I needed was to replace my coils and hoses. Also a general tuneup. $900 and could be done in 3 hours. He did everything he said and got my baby back on the road same day. Will definitely be coming back FOR ANY mechanic services.

I have a daily commute that goes past Sam's. A few weeks back, as I was driving home from work, my AC died, all my dash lights turned on, and I managed to pull into the repair place a little way down from Sam's just as my car died. Sam's was the only auto shop on the strip that serviced my make and model. With no appointment made in advance, and in 105+ degree weather, Sam not only walked down with me and immediately diagnosed the issue (fried alternator), he got my truck all the way up to his shop for no extra charge. It was ready the following evening, and has been running perfectly ever since. Considering how many cars were in line when I strolled in, I was absolutely blown away with the quick turnaround for a completely unanticipated job. Not only that, but the service was excellent. Sam detailed all of what they had done in the repair in a straightforward, professional manner, and the price was more than reasonable, particularly for such a rush job. He went above and beyond. I will definitely be returning to this place in future.

Outstanding Service at Sam's Auto Care in Plano, TX I recently had a great experience at Sam Auto in Plano, TX. The owner, Sam, went above and beyond to fix my car, and I'm really thankful for his help. I went to Sam Auto to get an oil change, replace the coolant, and change my tires. But there was a problem - my car needed a special key to remove the tires, and I couldn't find it anywhere. Sam didn't give up. He tried looking for the key at a nearby car dealer in Plano, but they didn't have it. So, he went to another car dealer in Dallas and found the key. He not only changed my tires but also found and fixed a problem with my gas cap that was causing a warning light on my dashboard. What makes Sam special is that he didn't just fix the things I knew about; he also found and fixed other problems with my car that I didn't even know existed. This made sure my car passed the state emissions test. Not many car mechanics would do all of this. I want to say a big thank you to Sam for going the extra mile to fix my car. If you need car help, I highly recommend Sam Auto. They provide excellent service, and I'm now a loyal customer. I was referred to Sam from a friend. He will not rip you off and will find the best deal for you. He explains to you what going on with your car . The guys that work with him as well are also very helpful in explaining what going on with your car. I remember I was waiting for my car and an elderly lady came in very nervous , because she didn’t know anything about cars and explained she lost her husband who use to handle things with the car . She had lots of questions and was asking advise from the worker and I felt for her. The young man was so patient and helpful to her . I feel as woman we are usually seen as someone to take advantage of when it comes to car repair shops, but at Sam’s Auto you will not be treated that way. I would recommend him to others.

I’ve been coming to Sam’s for probably 5 years now. They are polite, friendly, accommodating, dependable, and honest. I usually call ahead of time to see if it’s a good time to come in for service. They get me in and out quickly and they never try to upsell me extra services. If they did say hey I think you should consider doing this extra thing I would believe it was really necessary since they don’t make habit of that. I believe the prices are reasonable as well. Per my recommendation, my mom started bringing her car here, too, and still does even though she moved to Garland.
