Ratings & Reviews for Catering Services
Everything about the meal was great!!!! The people are nice and helpful. The atmosphere is chill and relaxing. Will definitely be back!
Had the Spinach Chicken. It was spiced perfectly, just the heat I was looking for. The Peshawari Naan was not ok, it came out greasy as if coconut oil instead of shavings were used. The service was the biggest obstacle. They would benefit from additional staff. I understand the constraints that restaurants are having with staff, but it seemed they only had 2 people working the restaurant. When the order was placed, nothing was notated and there were items missing. When it came to paying, it took over half an hr before someone came to check on us. We noticed that perhaps their focus is on online orders, they were quick getting those out to customers.
Decent food. Very good catering service for parties.
Authentic Indian dishes , must visit weekend buffet which I think is the best in the Tampa Bay area.
Hakka noodle is to die forrr. They have buffet options too, please call nd confirm before going
The food was good but the waiter didn't even approach me once to ask if everything was well. So I just tipped him a dollar.
This might be my favorite restaurant. The buffet is always interesting and delicious. The aviance is delightful and the staff is very pleasant.
Today Tuesday Me and my wife had a Lunch buffet at Minerva restaurant one of my friend recommended we like the food very good and testy best part is that they use meats Halal chicken and goat thanks.
Buffet is very good . Nice options for both veg and non veg .
Our food and experience were just fine. The food was good and a great value. Take out seemed to be slow and there were some problems due to lack of enough staff. Those working were doing their best. Shame on the loud folks who chose to be ugly about the situation.
Glad we missed having Indian food and decided to try out Minerva again. It was delicious!!! Also very reasonably priced beers and wine, and nice variety of dishes on the menu. Spacious inside, so everyone reasonably distanced. Finally, it was great to see someone so diligently cleaning the lunch buffet station. We'll definitely be back.
Awesome and tasty Indian food, ambience is nice, a must visit whenever you are in Tampa, FL
We enjoyed the buffet, good variety for both veg and non veg. Highly recommend
Good restaurant with approx 15 tables located at prime location in New Tampa Staff is good and polite We get couple of options for Jain food as well Food taste is also good.
Really enjoyed the food here on a recent Saturday night, especially the tandoori chicken. The dining room’s ambiance leaves a little to be desired though. Their food app delivery business is prolific and the dining room has become a waiting room area for UberEats and Grubhub drivers. Many of whom were loudly complaining about the wait times and arguing with the restaurant staff.
Always going there for their buffet. Lot of options to choose from if your a vegetarian or non vegetarian. I personally like the pepper chicken which I tell them to spice it up.
Excellent food! Sometimes a short wait when picking up an order.
The only Place where I wasted Food
This place is excellent. There is a wide variety of delicious food. The price is reasonable and the customer service is excellent. We always look forward to bringing our family here
Good food but poor customer service. They haven't adapted to the take-out model (the dines-in numbers are way down during pandemic days?). I ordered take-out. When I went to pick-up there was nobody at the register and plenty of customers waiting. After waiting for about 10 minutes, had to go past the register, close to the kitchen door to holler somebody. A person came out to take my payment but there was no acknowledgement of inconvenience.
My family and I have been going here since they opened; wholesome people and amazing food. Truly feels like family when you go in this place. We love Minerva so much. 10/10.
Great food, reasonable price for lunch buffet. Wide variety of vegetarian options. Would recommend giving them a try.
I wish I could give 6 stars. Polite host who took care of everything. They were ready to go above and beyond even with a buffet serve.Taste was authentic and every single dish was worth a try. Very extended breakfast buffet. Must to go place.
Kheema Biryani, Chicken 555, and Soup was good. Tandoori items were kind of ok.
Good buffet with large choice of dishes. They have increased the price though
Good Indian restaurant in Tampa. The host is very nice and welcoming.
Everything was so Delicious and Flavorful! A lot to choose from and everything is labeled! I will highly recommend! Also very nice and Friendly staff!!
Great food and very pleasant dining experience
Good buffet. Wide variety of curries and sweets.
Buffet offered vegan and non vegan entrees the food was very good in flavor , a little spicy and the cilantro rice was an excellent dish
Food was delicious and buffet is always great to see!
Great lunch buffet with fresh food and good service.
Excellent food. Prepared just as requested.
Great Indian food …love to visit this place again and against
Nice buffet and reasonable price ($14.99). Friendly staff..
Delicious, spicy and authentic food. Very fresh and tasty!
We ordered a chicken sweetcorn soup and they gave us soup with just vegetables. We again asked them, they said they will modify our soup. The food was very spicy. They need to ask the customers on the basis of their spice tolerance whether they want medium or mild etc… Overall was good, enjoyed the kheer (rice pudding).
Butter chicken was good. Service was fast. Nice staff.
Buffet was just mediocre today. Normally the food is okay, but the kitchen was not on its game.
One of the hidden gems in the Bruce B Downs area. Minerva serves authentic and delicious Indian food and occasionally puts a South Indian spin on dishes from other cultures. They have an excellent butter chicken, excellent samosas, an excellent chili chicken recipe and imbue all their foods with that authentic South Indian flavor.
Great service and amazing food- chole and parantha. Paneer tikka is amazing as well. Fresh and tasty! Clean and inviting sitting area.
From the first course to the last, it was a flavor explosion. Spicy, but not over done. The vegetable samosa was seasoned beautifully. They had a complex profile with a floral note on the end. The papadon were light and crispy and not just a bland cardboard. My tomato soup, something we've all had before, was an introduction to a new friend. Herbs and spices come together elegantly. Then comes the Chicken Tika Masala. It was fork tender and with a flavor so deep that I felt like I was in the chef's home kitchen. Well worth coming.
Very clean restaurant with good food and wide selection in the buffet . Happy staff too… definitely recommend
Amazing food and many choices
Fantastic food and great vegan options that are clearly marked.
The food was extremely tasty and the service was great. One of the best Indian food I have had in the US. Their North Indian and South Indian cuisines are great.
A VERY tasty all you can eat buffet. Great Indian food!
Good flavors, awesome menu, lacking in the paneer naan, might be me but I need alot more cheese, prices are reasonable, totally worth an try. Lamb tiki masala was tender and saucey.
One of the best restaurant in tampa. I enjoy chicken 65, naan and curry.
Owner seems nice but I guess flavors were bad. Went for. Buffet. Naans were hard. Bathura too. Pakodas were good..
Had the Lamb Tikki Masala, fantastic. It did take them 5 minutes or more to give us menus. But after that everything was just about perfect, got our beers nice and fast. Food was amazing, service after the first mishap was a 10 out of 10. Would 100% recommend, and get at least a six on the spiciness. I personally get a 8.
It was above average but I have had better. Waited a bit to get seated. There was no a.c. so it was pretty uncomfortable. Staff were attentive and very pleasant.
Absolutely delicious every time! TONS of food. Only wish there was a way to get half orders so we don’t waste leftovers. Well worth it though!
Spicy food, wonderful service and staff.
So nice. Chia was so tasty. Food was full of spice, fresh, and aromatic. Minerva is a family favorite.
Nice pleasant atmosphere. Indian music background. Plentiful buffet with many vegan options. Authentic Indian spice and flavor.
Awesome food.. specially biriyani
Great food, fresh ingredients, affordable prices, I will be back again . Amazing service
My new favorite Indian Restaurant in Tampa. The service and food were both excellent.
Great food with perfect Indian taste, nice ambiance, and friendly service. it wasn't crowded yet and it didn't disappoint. Every dish came out hot and tasty! I can really appreciate the fact they have more options for their dishes vegetarian, chicken, shrimp, lamb...
The food here is absolutely incredible. We ordered a wide variety and everything we had was delicious!
Very tasty Indian food, best in Tampa! Buffet is phenomenal and the staff are very friendly.
Typically food is awesome. Service is never good.
Extra spicy food, but delicius
I ordered chicken curry, garlic naan and vegetable samosas. Highly highly recommend this place, top notch food as well as customer service.
Great staff and reasonable prices. One of most favorite places to eat near Tampa. The Naan is also so good! I recommend the butter garlic ????
THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! Everything I had was delicious!!! And the service was kind, friendly, suggestive, and nice.
Couple of times been to buffet but they don't look and refill the items promptly. Not every item tastes good. Poori is hard. Not too many varieties also. It's costs close to 15$ but the availability of items is bad.
Please Properly label vegan and vegetarian items, as they are not the same. I would like to eat here yet just looking at the menu, dishes with either/or milk, butter, and cheese are labeled vegan when they are actually supposed to be labeled vegetarian. I give 3 stars for effort, I would like to come try the place out so that I can give 5 stars but first the menu needs to reflect the food properly because nobody wants to get sick off of items that are improperly labeled.
Food was good but expect it to be kinda spicy even if you asked for mild. I ordered the goat and it was mostly bones. If you order cheaper meats or vegetarian options, you’d be getting your moneys worth. Received a dirty plate and servers were always walking around asking if you want water refills but seemed kinda rude like they didn’t wanna be there
The chicken tandoori was exceptional. Friendly staff, reasonable pricing. Very good food.
So I have been ordering from Minerva for several years and have never once had a bad experience. Indian cuisine is extremely vegetarian friendly, and there are so many options here to choose from that it's almost overwhelming. There are several pakora, paneer, chana (chickpea), biryani, masala, and creamy curry dishes with enough a huge selection to choose from. If you partake in meat, there's lots of great lamb and chicken dishes too. My absolute favorite dish on the menu which I think everybody should try is the Malai Kofta, which I find myself ordering practically every time I order from here.
the food is special, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. It's a great place to go on a date.
We had the Butter Chickenand Chicken Tikki Marsala. Garlic Naan. Lamb samosas. Food was amazing and service was wonderful. Will definitely come back again.
Had nice Buffet after longtime..
Very inconsistent. Sometimes we love it. Other times it's just mediocre.
We went for lunch here...best part is the chicken briyani was good and they are not charging for kids. But most of the foods are not hot and the Roties are not soft to eat.
amazing food, excellent service. We order 5 different dishes all of them was phenomenal.
Best service with great prices and amazing food!
A friend and I ate here the other evening after he had recommended it previously. It did not disappoint. The food was great - very good flavors and good portion sizes
The food quality and quantity is much better Loved dine in here
Fast friendly service. We liked the lamb and veg samosa. Food was flavorful and delicious. ????
I was extremely pleased with the food quality and appearance. The vibes here were amazing too-as well as very welcoming.
Good Indian food, so many different options. Butter chicken is a great place to start if you’ve never had Indian food, and make sure to get all sorts of naan (bread). We’ve gotten takeout from here several times when we craved Indian food and have mostly been happy. Last time we ordered they didn’t include one of the naan I ordered but what are you going to do?
Ate here last night and everything was delicious. Very relaxed dining experience and the prices were fair. Will definitely be back!
I'm vegetarian. I eat Indian Food quite often. I was full and happy! I'll be back!
We are absolutely obsessed with everything on their menu. The service is good, the employees have a funny sense of humor but we enjoy it. All of the Curry’s are amazing.
Went there Thursday at 11.30 for lunch buffet. Food was tasty and fresh. Love the tendori chicken and biryani. The male owner may look tough but service was good. Kulab Jaman for dessert and complimentary hot chai tea. Recommended.
An amazing dinner! This is a very special locals place with fabulous service and high quality food. Love this place!
very personable service. Goat biryani with tender meat falls off the bone, spices come through, enough sauce for another meal. Garlic naan, thin and crispy. The food is fabulous and the hospitality is off the charts.
Interesting food, great nans, awesome friendly service. Location is good
I love their food, I just wish every meal was served with nan.
Good customer service. But they mess up on my takeout order.
One of the best places to get food from as a vegan. Great taste, smell, and the quality of the food is always top notch. The prices and portions are good and the food is hot and packaged well for pickup.
Went there for lunch buffet and it was great!! Love their food and prices. Definitely going back again.
food is delicious. Authentic Indian cuisine I am in love with this place will come back in future for sure.
Phenomenal...always great food and service...he is so kind to accept my expired coupons...I love this restaurant...
Good buffet - full paisa wasool. Weekend price is $20.37 with taxes and weekday something around 16ish. Service is prompt. High weeknd price was justified by the spread. However, the Butter chicken, paneer and dahi wada seemed to be prepared a day or two before and were not fresh. Rest all items are top notch. I did not had high hopes with these items honestly since I was mainly there for biryani and tandoori items. Did not feel that the owner would have listened to us on the issue since it was crowded and we did not wanted to be attention seekers though the hosts appeared welcoming. I would not mind visiting again if given a chance. I will post another review in a couple of weeks after taking my US team for lunch there. Fun fact - more than desis, you find the locals eating here and I felt that they frequented the restaurant. They serve chai in buffet which I have never seen back in India in any buffet. The chai felt refreshing, I had it towards the end before leaving the restaurant.
Food was absolutely amazing, it's incredibly tasty each time! The service was great, the food was brought out I think pretty quickly for the amount that we ordered and the waiter was very nice. I will be returning soon and making this my go to restaurant in Tampa!!
I came here recently for their lunch buffet and the food was delicious! I will definitely return.
This is a best place with cool atmoshpere. I visoted this place first time and really satisfied. The chicken was so juicy and tender. The staffs were friendly and recommend us their best dishes. Overall great experience. I will be back soon.
Fantastic place with great atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed the variety of delicious dishes. Delightful atmosphere, friendly staff and terrific food. Can't wait to go back. Highly recommended. I will be back soon.
Great Indian place! Probably my favorite Indian place so far. Here they have the thick Indian curry. Don't be deceived by the small pot. Highly recommended
Wow! What a great place i had found. The sitting area and the decorations was fantastic. The food was great in taste. Highly appreciated
Great place. I had a great experience on this place. The food was delicious. Their tandori chicken was fantastic. Highly recommended this place to all food lovers
Wow! What a great place. I want to try some indian food. I went to this place. This place was amazing. Highly recommended
We tried buffet food ranged from average to good. My issue is with the hygiene maintained across the restaurant. Accidentally one of the server, served 2 dosa to my friend instead of one, she did mention it to server in the mean time she touched the dosa's and took a bite from one of them. When he realized his mistake, that, it was for some other guest's take away order , the server spoke to my friend and picked one dosa with his hand (without gloves) to put it in take away container. Shortly after this incident, I saw the lady at the cashier casually holding dosa in her hand and without gloves.
The BEST Indian food in the area. The owners and staff are so friendly and the food never disappoints.
Best food and friendly service
delicious Indian food with superb variety to choose from. Best part if the price which is unbeatable.
$18.95 Lunch buffet on weekends (drinks included). Vast selection. Really Good.
Nice indian restaurant. The biryanis are great and the food is fresh. So far, I have visited the place over 5 times and food is consistent. Their desserts are pretty great as well (best falooda and priced great). Unlike a lot of other places, they do adjust spice levels pretty well if asked. Only negative would be that the chicken/mutton appetizers are not as flavorful but fish was great.
The best south Indian food in Tampa. All of their food is amazing.
Delicious food. Butter chicken was awesome.
Absolutely amazing, the food was so flavorful. Our server was very knowledgeable and recommended everything we tried! Will return!!
We loved the veg biryani, paneer Tikka masala and naan. Customer service was great.
A number of the dishes were flavorful. The dishes were on the smaller size, portion wise. Flavorful dishes, reasonable ambiance, nice service. Would recommend.
Variety of food in buffet , reasonable price compared to Bawarchi and Taaza mart.
When we had food at parties it tasted very good. And our first visit to restaurant was good experience too. But recently we went on Friday evening, I dont no why, the food was not at all good. They gave complimentary papad with chutney, felt like papad fried days ago, it was not fresh at all and bad smell coming too. Curry was also nt great.
Straight up fire, we dined in and it was so good
I ordered chicken dum biriyani, samosas and chicken 65. Everything was made well. I felt like I got my money's worth. Thank you Minerva for making me want to take more servings than I usually do. And the complimentary ladoo (a round indian sweet) made my son very happy.
The food was very good and they provided very attentive service.
Tried and ate the buffet surprisingly good! I thought it’s going to be very spicy its very flavorful meat are tender nicely seasoned not burning spicy. Came back next day for lunch for goat curry fry and garlic naan. I really enjoyed it more at home eating it and taking my time. Staff are very nice too.
The food is tasty but picking up an order from there takes at least 2 hours. First you are being told that it will take 40 minutes and upon arrival it will take an additional 1 1/2 Hrs. for your food to finish. Not the ideal dinner option if you are wanting to get home on time for dinner.
Delicious but highly unreliable. I love this place, but they really struggle with online orders. Tonight they didn't include rice with my order, and their solution was for me to travel to the restaurant to pick up the replacement. If you order delivery via their website vs Uber Eats / Door Dash / etc, the delivery can take up to 3 hours or more (personal experience). I have had more issues with this restaurant than any other. I highly recommend going to this restaurant, but don't count on them for online orders.
Great food. A bit expensive depending on what you order but still very good place to get Indian food. Ambience is really good.
For 14$ buffet provided on week days and 16$-19$ buffet provided on weekend and Festival days like thanksgiving and other days.. If we order and purchase food means the cost of the food is comparitively too high for the quantity of food which low.may be quantity sufficient for age group of 10 to 20. But for adults and non veg lovers can better opt for buffet. Even in buffet system,u will get normal recipes and there is no special recipe is remarkable. Unlik taaza, the spice and soar is normal, children can eat.
I had given the feedback to the owner in person who gave me the assurance that the quality of food will be improved. Therefore I gave another attempt and took a buffet on Sun, Dec 11th and I was happy that the assurance had turned true. My previous feedback is below and the above feedback overrides the below: I am an occasional customer to Minerva and had been to it for buffet lunch on Jul, 17th. The food was below standard, salty and chicken had almost gone bad. This was pointed by me to the supervisor and informed that this will go on google review.
Food was ok. But very expensive weekend buffet
Food is usually good. Prices are very reasonable compared to other nearby restaurants. 16$ for a buffet doesn’t sound crazy for me where people end up paying 20$ for a goat pulao in nearby Indian restaurants !!! Thursday & Sunday biryani deals are worth trying
Good food and number of options in the buffet
The best Indian food I've ever tasted.
I went to Minerva for a birthday dinner with my family. I recently relocated to New Tampa and have been trying to find a go-to Indian restaurant… this is the one. Incredibly authentic, great food, and servers that treat you like family. We got some somosas to start (veg and goat), and followed it up with a chicken special and goat vindaloo. 10/10 would recommend. Will be back for dinner and excited to try the lunch buffet.
There's not a whole lot of restaurants left where the owner and Chef actually walks the floors at lunch time. This buffet was excellent and well worth the money including the free beer. I can't wait to get hungry again and come back but that might take some time.
Food here is very good! Awesome buffet and it included beer, soda or water.
The Paneer Pakoras are awesome!
Great food... Services friendly.. Atmosphere was amazing...
Amazing restaurant and friendly staff.
Great food with great taste. They have lots of varieties of curry and desserts. Goat curry is outstanding and superb.
Excellent food. Great price as well. Very highly recommended.
Very good food. Very nice people. Very clean. Love it here!
Best South Indian place.. food made from scratch.
Best Indian food I have had in long time. Buffet was amazing with many different kinds of foods and so many authentic desserts. Also includes beverage and Chi. Great value for the money. Wish I lived closer.
Food quality is average, buffet would have been much better when we pay $21 for lunch buffet.
Great food! Buffet was exceptional.
Ordered Minerva for takeout. They package it really nicely. The garlic Naan was amazing as was the butter chicken. The Lamb Tikka Masala had a nice spice level. My fiance never had Indian food before and I think he's hooked now. I highly recommend Minerva if you're looking for good quality authentic Indian cuisine!
Very impressed the owner is very friendly and my orders are ready in sooner than the actual times. Very friendly customer service even though lot of places have staffing shortage these days. Will be doing business here more often in eating here. Keep up the good work guys.
It was very good, but there were couple things that caused me to give it a 4. Their Raita is delicious!! We dined at the restaurant.
The food is delicious and the people who work there are all super kind.
Excellent lunch buffet! A wide variety of dishes and sweets with attentive, pleasant staff. Will come again!
Top tier service! I appreciate the time and care they took.Hats off to the entire staff!!!The professionalism is like no other
Dum Biriyani was good, didn’t like the goat curry much, but overall good experience.
Arrived very late as a solo traveler and found this jewel in front of my hotel. Very attentive service
Excellent as always. I try to visit every week
Loved the food and the appetizers. Food was fresh and tasty, service was amazing. I'll definitely go back.
The presentation on the food we received was crazy good .I highly recommend .
The food is awesome.. check fry was so good, chicken kebab need little bit spicy. The main thing is sweet mango chutney. It's so tasty worth for the money. I tasted all food without wasting a piece
Great lunch buffet with lots of items. Drinks are included! Byrani chicken, butter chicken, tandoori, masala... you name it. Lots of vegetarian options on the buffet as well and awesome desserts like gulob jamun YUM. Friendly staff. Update 2/28/2023 they have raised the lunch price from $13.95 to $16.95. Not sure if I'll be lunching much here at that price.
Best indian buffet I’ve ever been. Fully halal. Very clean. Nicest staff. Tasty. Price is very good too.
The overall food experience was great. I ordered their butter chicken (medium heat) and garlic naan. My boyfriend had the butter chicken (extremely hot), cheese naan, and mango lassi. The service experience was terrible. Our server/busser was rushing us
This is my second visit and o just say it has all the best Indian foods I love to eat. The lunch buffet i worth every Penny and is In expensive to dine, the food is fresh, the atmosphere is pleasant and it even comes with a free drink with meal.
Good buffet with a tasty food. Evrything is spicy though.
The best Indian lunch buffet. Lots of chicken options and a few goat. Plenty of vegetable dishes and a few different rice options. The employees are very friendly and your water will always be full. Atmosphere is nice and quiet and the place is clean. The mango lassi is also delicious for only $4 it’s a large glass.
It was ok for this type of cuisine
I went to the buffet, it was spectacular. Food was great with many choices and more. It was worth the money. Server was attentive, location was clean. Will definitely return back and recommend friends and family
We decided to give this restaurant another try and they did not disappoint! Food variety is so good and their dishes - especially the Tikka fried fish & Mango Lassi are delicious ??! While the price is a bit steep ($25 per person for the buffet) is truly worth every penny. We go there almost every Sunday now.... Try it.
I was travelling from Orlando to ClearWater beach, and had my lunch here. The buffet is very delicious and wide variety served. Service was commendable and the owner was very friendly.
The goat curry was awesome!! The buffet has a great variety of food!! Must try!!
The menu had a wide variety of options, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. I ordered the chicken tikka masala with garlic naan and vegetable samosas. The chicken was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, and the creamy tomato-based sauce was bursting with flavor. The garlic naan was freshly made and had just the right amount of garlic, while the vegetable samosas were crispy and filled with delicious potato and pea stuffing. The service was exceptional, and the staff was knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations. The waiter was attentive and ensured that all our needs were met throughout the meal.
They need to work on consistency. Sometimes the food is delicious and perfect texture, and sometimes it very runny or thick and taste a bit different.
Average food with bad service. I asked for a drink that was not given until asked again. They forgot to charge for it as well and had to remind again to charge for it.
Food is okay here. Not super exciting but comparatively better than other restaurants. L
This was the best Briyani I ever had it tasted so good
A perfect place to visit the Indian Cuisine. Especially the Buffet on Saturday and Sunday are very tremendously delicious and a must try food in the locality. I would suggest people who are from USF should visit this place and taste the items they offer. I Love It!!!
Good food with lots of varieties!!
They didn't seem very knowledgeable or communicative of their menu
We had a buffet and had a great experience with a basic variety of veg and non veg options .. We don't find seafood in the buffet. They had a Indian beer in their buffet. King fisher, Taj mahal, etc... I really liked the veg pakoras, chilli idly, Gobi Manchurian, noodles.
Dhaba food in Tampa- good mutton keema
Mutton(goat) kheema and kadai was really nice..
Overall good experience. Paneer is frozen so you may avoid it if you dont like it.
I had ordered pure veg food ie,chilly mirchi pakora cut, chilly paneer, paneer kadai and roti..chilli pakora was good very yummy, roti was really good but chilli paneer was not at all good ,it has turmeric in it which does not consider chinese food at all and kadai paneer was tasting like butter paneer masala..disappointed by the paneer dishes and also paneer was not fresh it was rubbery ..staff was good
one of the best indian meals we have had in a while! reasonable prices and a large selection to chose from!
Friendly staff and delicious food! The staff at this restaurant were so friendly and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. I can't wait to come back!
Amazing food, amazing service! I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. The food was amazing and the service was top-notch.
Incredible dining experience! The presentation of the food was beautiful, and the flavors were out of this world. I can't wait to come back!
Great food, great atmosphere! This restaurant is the perfect place to go for a delicious meal and a great atmosphere. I highly recommend it.
A must-visit! This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking for a great meal. The atmosphere is cozy and the food is amazing.
Yes, Yes, Yes! This place is well patronized for a good reason. All you can eat buffet with beverages (soda and beer) , hot masala tea, and a selection of desserts - all for $20 during lunch…you absolutely cannot go wrong. The buffet changes and food is fresh and authentic. I enjoy eating here solo as a treat to myself! The staff is helpful and friendly. Thank you for being here in the new Tampa area - you are a gem in this community.
Went for Weekend Veg Lunch Buffet , staff and amenities and cleans very good. Starter Ok Main Course Ok Deserts Super Drink’s Super
I've only been here for the lunch buffet, but I've always been happy with the food. What could possibly be better than unlimited Butter Chicken and then some kheer to cool things off afterward? I'm not exactly sure how the pricing works with the buffet, but it seems they have nice selection of beer and wine if you're into that sort of thing.
this place has extremely tasty Indian food honestly probably the best ever i have gotten from a place. the portion sizes are also great it last more than 1 meal. the only reason i am giving 4 stars is because the service, at least for take out, is a little bit off. i called before their lunch break and they said it was ok to order, but when i got there the restaurant looked dead and i had to wait a while for anyone to assist me. even then, they seemed confused and it took a while for them to get me my food. they also forgot silverware. still, their food is really good so i would have to say it is worth it. definitely a little pricey but that is the case with most Indian places. They also gave me a complimentary free dessert of rice pudding which was very nice and tasted good. I like their vegetarian samosas as well.
Nice little Indian restaurant. Good food, good service
Nice place. Very authentic.
Food was food, service was very attentive. We will definitely go back. This may sound a bit harsh but in the service industry interactions matter. I'd suggest the staff to have a little more enthusiasm, they seemed very nice though, maybe just tired. Gobi Manchurian was excellent.
Food was delicious, many options in their lunch buffet that also include a soda or beer with the price. Price was good. Clean place.
A bit pricy but food seems good.
I've ordered twice via Uber Eats and the food has been excellent. I've also received a freebie in my orders, which was a very nice surprise. Definitely order again.
Indulge yourselves in a mouthwatering Indian buffet with tantalizing freshness & this culinary landscape brings you an exquisite array of flavors & spices . Excellent vegetarian options & beverage included .
Fresh food no matter the hour, great and flavorful man with great portions
I had the Chicken Tikka Masala and it was delicious, very nice place, not crowded and good pricing.
We went for dinner, so there was no buffet. The menu is pretty extensive with a lot of meat and vegetarian options. The vegetable samosas were an excellent appetizer with the couple of sauces that came with them. Tikka masala and mango sauces were rich and delicious. The waitress was friendly and service was quick. The only downside is the hallway to the bathroom is a storage area for beverages.
They have a nice customer service and food taste good
Food was excellent. Wait staff was very enjoyable. Would highly recommend and will be returning!!!
My kids and I went to Minerva and we had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious. The flavors were authentic and well-balanced. The service was excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was welcoming. The restaurant was clean and well-decorated. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great Indian lunch buffet. I spend around 56$ for the food and tip for 2 adults and 2 years old.
It was great experience. There were five parties visited and had a good experience. The food was very good and the environment was welcoming. The manager - Venkat, was very supportive on our special requests.
We had Minerva cater to our home and the food was amazing and all our guest loved it .. thank you Minerva and your team
I did not liked the taste.
This is the first time we had dinner there. Food was awesome. We have ordered chicken biryani, lamb curry, veg Manchuria, Fish fry, Garlic Naan, Butter Naan, drinks and Mango lassi. Except Manchuria everything was super good. Service was really great. Prices were reasonable. There is lot of space for Parking. Will try again soon.
Good value for money lunch .
Very good food, tried Indian food for the first time and this exceed expectations
We love this place! The people who own and work here are super nice! The food is delicious and fresh. We love coming here and eating here! Never had anything here I didn’t love!
Best restaurant in Tampa Bay. The service is impeccable and the manager makes sure you are satisfied. The food is delicious! Best chicken tikka in Florida.
So much flavor in one bite I had the chicken biryani. The owner checked on us to make sure were satisfied and he was very inviting. Waitress was good to us too. Will be back hidden gem.
Very good food, we like to try random restaurants and this trip did not disappoint. Many things that we have never tried before on the buffet.
The food is indian cuisine so you can expect it to go in hot and come out hot?? but besides that its really and flavorful. The service is very nice as always. The atmosphere has improved to be more indian style which makes it more unique. the only problem is that some of the food im not familiar with so I don't know how to eat it but it's not to much of a problem. My favorite was the butter chicken with naan
Terrific buffet with lots of tasty options and a good selection of Indian beer.
Excellent time at Minerva! Food was fresh and prepared in a timely manner. Overall, I will be returning.
Very average food taste. Biryani was so dry and seems not fresh.
I told them that tea is not fresh , they made fresh pot . We also stop this place for lunch or dinner , when we pass through Tampa back to Sarasota.great service
Absolutely incredible lunch buffet with all the options you could ever want. Authentic and filling with a wide variety of flavors and super friendly service. I am only upset that I didn’t find this place sooner! Will be coming here a lot more often now!
Service was great, food was yummy. Prices were okay as well. I recommend.
Alright, I’ll give you five stars. Thanks for the service and extra food,
Nice place for good indian food. Spice level was on point. Everything was delicious.
Excellent Telugu food. Owner is very generous in providing varieties. I love all the dishes they serve.
Been to Minerva 3-4 years ago & i think it was a way better experience food & ambience-wise. Was craving a good Indian buffet yesterday & after some diligent online research, decided to drive almost an hour to Minerva, based on good recent reviews. The restaurant was busy, but the hostess guided us to an open table quickly. The buffet area is pretty congested & instead of forming a line, people were coming into the buffet from both directions. This made the already congested area even more difficult to maneuver around. Once I finally got to the food, I realized the reason for the unnecessary chaos, was the way food was arranged. It starts with salads->desert->dal & vegetable-> appetizers->rice->non-veg curries. So here’s the problem- no rice/bread placement before the curries & the strange placement of desserts in between the salad & veg dishes. Having to reach over s couple of dishes to get to the rice/breads in a congested space , especially reaching over desserts to get to the savory items, leads to curries unwittingly spilling over the other food in the way. By now, your enthusiasm has died down, and you are frustrated. Also disparate appetizers like samosas, spring rolls etc were all served in one container, which tampers with the individual aromas & flavors. Everything tasted the same ultimately. The bhaturas were pretty tough as opposed to crispy/fluffy. So essentially, food quality was average overall. Nothing stood out. Considering it cost two of us $55 with an additional mango lassi, I felt the buffet at Minerva has a LOT of room to improve. Hope these suggestions will be taken into consideration, and positive changes can be incorporated to make the buffet experience a much more pleasurable experience than it currently is.
Authentic Indian food. Very generous….we asked for dosa and vada in the buffet and they brought us fresh one
Good experience and food was nice.
Good place to have Indian lunch buffet.
Nice ambience, economical Indian food.
I like every dish especially deserts were awesome and had a great time out here.
Everyone come to this restaurant. It’s so nice the food is so delicious. You should come try it. There restaurant is very clean. We came for their buffet and left satisfied and stuffed.
Food was not that much tasty.. The buffet is very expensive and not worth it .. Desserts are very good ??
Since relocating from Northern Virginia, my quest for authentic and delectable Indian cuisine led me to Minerva Tampa. On our first visit, we decided to try the samosas, which were amazing! The accompanying sauces elevated the experience, adding layers of flavor that were both rich and tantalizing. Not only does this place cater to my dietary restrictions (I don't eat meat), but the overall quality of the food is genuinely commendable. The prices are reasonable, making the experience even more enjoyable. I'm eagerly looking forward to trying their buffet soon. If you're in the area and have a penchant for Indian food, Minerva Tampa is a must-visit!
Great food, samosas to start. All dishes were excellent.
The ambience of the restaurant is amazing Staff is really good and helpful I have ordered boneless chicken biryani which is very delicious and mouthwatering. I really enjoyed the food and will be visiting often
Best Indian food I have ever tasted in recent times...I enjoyed the food thoroughly and the restaurant ambience was pretty good...I would love to recommend this restaurant in order to experience wonderful Indian food...
I recently dined at Minerva Indian Restaurant and was thoroughly impressed by the culinary journey it offered. The chicken tikka masala, chicken biryani and soft paneer cubes were a delightful treat. Paired with a side of crispy garlic naan, it felt like a symphony of flavours in my mouth. The restaurant's decor, adorned with traditional Indian art, added to the immersive experience. The serving staff were attentive and provided excellent recommendations. I'd highly recommend the chicken biryani, goat curry and others for anyone looking for a fragrant and hearty dish. I look forward to revisiting and trying more of their specialties.
Minerva offers an authentic Indian ambience and a diverse menu. The Paneer Tikka and Lamb Rogan Josh stood out, with the garlic naan being a highlight. Vegetarians have ample choices. The staff provides attentive service, ensuring a memorable dining experience. Minerva is a top recommendation for both newcomers and avid Indian cuisine enthusiasts.
Vegetarian friendly! Best butter paneer in Tampa.
I like to have sex with j Luhr and a girl so I can watch as his long white rod goes deeper into the stretch with every thrust as the juice drizzle down her leg Call me any 7274390702
The taste was so good and the hospitality was good would recommend going to this restaurant for sure.
Food is great and staff is good
We had the food delivered. The food was delicious and nothing was spilled. The delivery driver was great!
Good spread of buffet with ample options.. great ambience. Wonderfull service and tasty food
Looking for Indian cuisine in Tampa, begin from here. Thanks!
Minerva Indian Restaurant's lunch buffet is one of the best Indian buffets I've ever been to. The food is always fresh, hot, and delicious, and the selection is incredibly varied. There are dishes to please everyone, from vegetarian to meat-eaters.Some of my favorite dishes on the buffet include the butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, lamb vindaloo, vegetable biryani, and naan bread. The food is always flavorful and perfectly cooked. The naan bread is also delicious and always fresh out of the oven.In addition to the great food, the atmosphere at Minerva Indian Restaurant is also very pleasant. The dining room is clean and spacious, and the staff is friendly and attentive. I always have a great dining experience at Minerva Indian Restaurant.I highly recommend Minerva Indian Restaurant's lunch buffet to anyone looking for a delicious and affordable Indian meal.
Awesome Service. Food was little spicy but they changed instantly. Will definitely visit again
Awesome food and awesome service. Loved it!!!
One of our favorite lunch spots!
Sunday lunch buffet. I think the restaurant must have been caught off guard with lots of visitors for lunch. The buffet was consistently empty for certain dishes & food was at average at the most. I have been on other occasions & the food was tasty but last Sunday (11/5/23) was nothing like tasty & empty buffet servings. The waiters were also overwhelmed by consistently clearing the tables off the used dishes & making frantic attempts to get clean plates on the buffet. Bowls were not to be seen & the food arrangement was in reverse. Typically dishes should be placed with entries & not starting at deserts. Lastly, masala tea was empty to the most part & coffee had bean flakes. Eventually when tea came up, it tasted a mix of coffee. I am sure someone mixed the coffee dispenser with the tea dispenser during refill. On the restaurant defense, I would say they were caught unaware with so much public flocking in for lunch & hence the average to below average food taste that was either too dry or missing from the buffet. May give it another try on a different day with the hope of better quality & lesser traffic.
Really good goat curry. The goat biriyani was decent, there could have been a higher level of spiciness to it and less star anise. Good mango lassi also but the butter chicken needed a bit more creamy flavor, not bad at all but just not as rich as I've grown accustomed to. This was the buffet that I tried for the first time and it was good overall. The made to order dishes may probably have more flexibility for spice level since the buffet is made more to please more palettes. Overall a solid B if I had to give a grade.
Saw the ad in Khaasbat; my husband (he’s from South India) and I have been looking for quality biriyani for a couple months in SWFL— we were thrilled to find such a great value with high quality! We’d love to come back when we’re next in the Tampa area.
Always so good. Love the lunch special buffet that they have every day! They separate vegetarian from meat which is highly appreciated!!! Definitely recommend!
Great food, big servings, and lots of flavor.
Good foood n no of items are high
Enjoyed the chips and accompanying sauces. Portions are sizeable but did not enjoy our entrees. We ordered butter chicken and chicken tikka masala. Service was lacking. We ordered a starter but entrees came out before. We finished our entrees when I asked I was told that they ran out of the appetizer and were in the process of making more, which is why there was a delay. Would have liked to have been asked if we still wanted it after finishing our entrees…instead of assuming we’d still want it.
Placed $50+ of food for delivery at 5:15pm. Estimated delivery was 5:55pm but unfortunately arrived at 6:48pm. The upshot? The manager delivered and offered a discount on my next order. I appreciate the effort to remedy.
I visited this place on my trip to Florida! I was surprised at the buffet selection, there were so many options that you can choose! Veggies, no-veg, desserts! By far the most enriched menu I’ve ever seen in any Indian buffet! The food was good too! And all that for a very reasonable price! We were greeted by this amazing young lady who helped us with everything we needed! The servers we’re responsive, respectful and very friendly! We loved the experience! Definitely be back next time we’ll be in the area!
We went for the lunch time buffet and found the food good and tasty. They now include unlimited soda and beer with the buffet price
i got my food to go and thought the butter chicken was quit pricey, they did give you a lot for what you paid for. the garlic naan was absolutely delicious, especially when dipped in the chicken. i got a whole container of complimentary rice a long with some rice pudding as well!
We just had a dinner at Minerva.food was delicious n priced very reasonably. The best was Onion pakora.
Amazing food as always, come her for the lunch buffet and it is always filling and fresh food.
good food, can be more tasty. the buffet is alright but the big issue was cleanliness. there were flies all over the place and they could have made the whole thing more clean and sanitary. i hope the next time i try the buffet the food will be more vibrant and i wont see a single fly.
The servers were lovely and gave our party some great suggestions.
great food. Overpriced service fee.
This restaurant has a great lunch buffet which includes sofa, beer and tea. For $21, it's a great deal when including the drinks. I'm just a water drinker though, so I would prefer a cheaper buffet with no drinks included. They had a decent amount of choices and the food was good. The vegetable korma was very different than other restaurants I've been to more like a curry, than a creamy sauce. I love the veg briyani. There were a lot of people so the food was fresh.
The taste was average. Though it is a budget friendly restaurant, i prefer to taste over money. The bhature was very, very oily, which left a bad after taste of oil. The taste of Dal makhni was blunt. Yet you can give it a go once, seeing whether it suits your taste buds. Atmosphere was good, beat, clean and consumer-friendly. A good looking restaurant indeed.
Friendly staff, great food, awesome price. Probably the best Indian food in the area. We will be back!
I highly recommend this place. The taste of the food is for real Indian food, was amazing. We introduced Indian food to some relatives and they loved the food. On top of it, the service was amazing. Our server was great, he was so helpful, nice, and professional! Other two people went couple of times to check on us. We really enjoyed the place !
Extensive menu, very reasonably priced with large portions. Happy hour prices for domestic and some imported beers $1. Most importantly, the food was delicious.
It was a friendly family atmosphere. Being a little picky, the floor by the bathrooms were very slippery. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Went for the Lunch buffet and it was delicious!! Great service, great food and very friendly. Definitely recommend coming.
Minerva was excellent! First time trying, we will definitely be back! Went in for dinner, had the chicken tikka masala and the lamb vindaloo along with chili naan and butter naan. The food was incredible and came out very fast and piping hot, absolutely wonderful. Service was very attentive, to the point that our water glasses never even went below halfway empty before we were asked if we would like a refill. Wasn’t an especially busy dine-in night, but takeout orders were coming in consistently - we were seated at the front, and could see how fast staff was able to turn out the pickup food, quite impressive given the volume! And our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and allergen information, and the kitchen was incredibly accomodating to prevent any cross-contamination as well - very grateful! Also, our waitress was able to provide suggestions and ensure the spice level was exactly what we wanted for each dish — just a great local business, all around!
Everything here at the buffet is awesome. I was shocked to pay $50 for 2 at the buffet for lunch. I won't be coming back for the buffet. Maybe order off the menu.
I live just a while away of where this restaurant is located, and I really love coming to get food here. Without a doubt, Minerva Indian Restaurant is one of the best authentic cuisines in the Tampa Metro Area, I order food here about every month or so and I have never had one bad experience here ever. The food is great, the menu is diverse, and the service is really good. I've not tried the buffet yet but it looks like it has many good options as well, my favorite items from this place are the Biryanis (most of them I've tried are amazing), the Dal Makhani, and the Garlic Naan is a must. I'd also recommend getting the Chicken 65 Biryani as it has the very delicious boneless and spiced Chicken 65, In fact, when I do the Biryani platter, usually Chicken 65 is the go-to for me. Minerva Indian Restaurant is awesome and you should definitely try it if you are visiting or live in the New Tampa/North Tampa Metro area!
Great taste, authentic Indian food. Our server Sai provided good service during understaffed hours on new years day.
staff here was so attentive and polite. food was delicious and the menu has such a large and promising variety all at fair prices. Exceeded my expectations and definitely will be coming back!
First time trying this place and Indian food, and I loved it. Very friendly staff and great food selection on the lunch buffet.
Decent dosas and attentive staff.
My recent visit to Minerva Indian Restaurant left me thoroughly impressed. The laid-back dining space provides a comfortable setting, allowing you to savor every moment of your meal. The classic Indian dishes are prepared with utmost care, delivering an explosion of flavors with each bite.

Minerva Indian Restaurant offers a truly exceptional dining experience. The laid-back ambiance creates a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for enjoying their delectable Indian cuisine. The daily changing lunch buffet is a delightful surprise, showcasing the chef's creativity and commitment to providing a diverse culinary experience.
Minerva Indian Restaurant exceeded my expectations – the diverse menu caters to various tastes, and the flavors were truly exceptional. The staff's friendliness added a welcoming touch to the overall dining experience.
The ambiance at Minerva Indian Restaurant is inviting, and the food is a delightful symphony of spices. Impeccable service and a great selection of dishes make it a top choice for Indian cuisine enthusiasts.
Five stars shine brightly for Minerva Indian Restaurant. From the aromatic spices to the impeccable presentation, every dish tells a tale of culinary mastery and a commitment to a delightful dining experience
Minerva has been our favorite Indian restaurant for the past 3 years. We especially love the lunch buffet! The food is always fresh, hot and delicious. I also enjoy their Indian spiced tea (chai). The service is always great as well.
We ordered a large order yesterday and it was mostly good. Not great but good. Except my palak paneer. I ordered mild it wasn’t and it was so salty I couldn’t eat it. I had my daughter try to see if perhaps it was me but she agreed. Salt yuk. Unfortunately we didn’t out and I was out of luck for my dinner.
Love coming here! This is a regular for us and we often bring friends. The food is always amazing and fresh! Such a great experience!
Minerva Indian Restaurant is a culinary gem, offering a rich tapestry of Indian flavors; the attention to detail in both taste and presentation is commendable.
There's great food and wonderful service. If you ask for something that they're out of they will make it fresh.
I absolutely LOVE this place that I actually drive 45 miles each way just to have eat their buffet as well hey have such a wide selection of foods !
I recently dined at Minerva Indian restaurant that truly exceeded my expectations in every way. The variety of food offered was exceptional, featuring an extensive menu that catered to both traditional Indian cuisine lovers and those looking to explore more contemporary dishes. Every dish I tried was bursting with flavor, perfectly spiced, and presented beautifully, showcasing the chef's attention to detail and expertise in Indian cooking. The service was equally impressive, with attentive and friendly staff who made the dining experience even more enjoyable by ensuring all our needs were met promptly.
I recently visited this restaurant and it is really good and value for money, I don't know the person's name who was sitting in the cashier's place, he is a pro at convincing the customers. I will be back to this restaurant.
I've done dine in and take out and the food is delicious and the price point is great. The quantity and quality that you receive is top tier. If you do UberEats they have buy one get one free options that are top tier. The food is on the very spicy side so just be mindful of that when ordering. Otherwise it's amazing and I regularly get food from there.
It was a Monday evening, slow when we arrived and quickly got very busy. Understaffed with only one server. There was another man which didn't really do much but look around and bring one carry out order to the table by the door. The one server was just left to handle it all. We waited for a long time to get a to go box and the check, after we had waived him down. I was charged for $3.95 for a guava juice I never got. I paid it to avoid waiting any longer. Other diners were also getting frustrated as they were waiting on one person. The garlic naan was good, the chicken biryani was good. The chicken tiki masala and veggie samosas were spicy. Will not be returning.
Food was amazing. Service was the best service we have had in a long time! Our server Manoj gave us excellent recommendations, and we had the best time. One of the best restaurants in Jacksonville!!
We recently placed Catering Order and food quality (and quantity) was great. All the guests loved the food. Service was good! Price was very reasonable! We are very pleased with the service provided.
Delicious, flavorful and always a variety fresh and great food for vegans and vegetarians.
Minerva Indian Restaurant offers a delightful culinary experience with authentic flavors and attentive service. The dishes are prepared with care, and the ambiance is inviting. Highly recommend for anyone craving delicious Indian cuisine.
First time here with a large party--food was excellent. Getting our food did take a little longer than expected, however it was worth the wait because it was so good and it's made to order. The staff there was very pleasant.
This is the best Indian food in the Tampa area.
Great place, we enjoyed ourselves. Manoj was a great server.
First time here , great food very friendly staff
Great buffet, with good options for vegetarians as well! Desserts were a highlight for me!
Awesome ambience! Will give the feeling you are in a restaurant in India
Amazing Indian food especially if you are vegetarian
Good food. Amazing ambience
Very tasty buffet, clean, and nice atmosphere. Would highly recommend!
Minerva Indian Restaurant offers a delightful culinary experience with its authentic flavors and impeccable presentation. The rich and vibrant dishes truly capture the essence of Indian cuisine, making it a must-visit destination for food enthusiasts. Highly recommended for a memorable dining experience
Went here the other day and was not disappointed. The Medium spice level could have been spicier, but otherwise it was great! Friendly staff as well.
Used this restaurant for our wedding food catering and it was delicious! Great service and so yummy
This was the best Indian food I’ve ever had hands-down. I’ve eaten in a lot of places in different cities and genuinely this was the best. Usually when I eat alone, I watch a TV show or movie. I texted my wife that I had to stop watching. The show was interrupting how much I was enjoying the flavor of the food. It was the food version of turning down the radio so that you can see the road better. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!
I LOVE this food! I recently made a huge order for 7 people and they made it for pickup in record time. It was hot and delicious and carefully packed. We were able to easily lay out the spread once home and everyone really enjoyed. I would recommend this spot for delicious authentic food for small orders or large orders the food is always consistent and piping hot. They have excellent veggie options, gluten free options and vegan options!! Our gests with different dietary restrictions were all happily satisfied and couldn't stop raving about the flavors!
Great food and great service!
Really good food, great atmosphere, really good service
My recent visit to Minerva was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality. The ambiance was inviting, setting the perfect tone for an authentic Indian dining experience. The menu offered a diverse selection of dishes, each bursting with rich flavors and meticulously prepared to perfection. I especially enjoyed their [signature dish], which was a true culinary masterpiece. The attentive staff ensured that every need was catered to, enhancing the overall dining experience. Without a doubt, Minerva has set the standard for Indian cuisine in Tampa. I can't wait to return and indulge in more of their delectable offerings!
Amazing food and excellent service. I'm sure glad I went.
Lunch buffet was delicious and a good value.
I very much enjoyed the delicious taste and authentic Indian flavours The buffet is varied and worth trying The sweets are very delicious Thank you all My second visit to the restaurant Thank God, it was wonderful and delicious ???? Indian dishes and very delicious flavors Thank you all
They had a great sauce selection. The hot sauce pictured in the silver bowl on the buffet was my favorite. The paneer was Delicious. This buffet includes Soda and Buffet. I am visiting from Atlanta and I am glad I stopped by here. I did have to wait a few minutes at the door to be seated but they staff apologized for the wait and it was worth it. Shukriyah!
this place is AMAZING. great food, friendly staff, and $1 wine/beers all day, every day. I will be back the next time i’m in town!
Excellent paneer, butter chicken, and service
I only get take out and each time it is sooo good. If you’re looking for a place to chow down, this is it. The portion sizes are solid and the little complimentary sides they include make my heart especially full. 10/10 recommend.
Taste is not good. Poori is not real Poori. Rava Dosa is really not good. If you want to try real South Indian food, Please try somewhere else in Tampa area
Ordered to go, they had some amazing BOGO deals, portions were very generous, great taste, def my favorite Indian food spot
Got this delivered on our first night in Tampa. Pretty good Indian food. I got the naan which was standard and the paneer tikka adn palak paneer. Both really good, appropriate level of spice. They gave us saffron rice with the order which was delicious. Would definitely recommend. ONLY Feedback: please do not use the plastic containers for delivery--those cause plastic leaching into food. Aluminum containers are safer.
Beautiful experience every time. Timely service & exceptionally fresh food. I always can turn a bad day around with some of their savory samosas. Love the complimentary dessert with each meal as well ?? highly recommend
Didn't like their business practice. They have a lunch buffet for 21$ and find it reasonable with what they offer. On top of it, they charge a forced 18% service fee/tax or as a tip. I believe tip is supposed to be customery. I don't understand why the service fee is when it is Buffet. Hoping this feedback helps them
I recommend this restaurant.
Excellent variety of Indian food in the Buffet. Reasonable prices.
Tasty food and even left us a suprise dessert in the bag. Just wish I knew I just had to grab my takeout when I got there, instead of waiting for someone to help me. But that could have been my fault, idk, food is tasty
Amazing place delicious food and staff is very nice and lunch buffet is the best, I recommend 100% for family and friends gatherings
I LOVE Indian food but our family gave this place two chances and it just didn’t do it for us. The food was fine. Not great, and certainly not worth the price IMO.
Tried egg biryani, looks authentic.
We love to stop here on trips home from out of state that take us back down the east coast. We did this tonight arriving around 6:40 PM and service was excellent, as we have always experienced. The host promptly sat the three of us and I believe Vick greeted us at the table with hello friends and took our orders. He was very pleasant and seemed sincere in his attitude and demeanor. Drinks, arrived quickly followed by our food which was delicious. I had lamb vindaloo very, very, very, very hot as the spice level and was very happy with it. This is what I have had there on my visits over the last three years and it is consistent and very good. I do not really know what the other two dishes were called, one was peas and mushrooms and the other was a creamy paneer dish which I was told were delicious by the people eating those. We will be back again when in the area.
This place has a nice lunch buffet. The food was good and the table service was great! We will definitely be repeat customers.
It was my first time trying this place and Indian food, and I absolutely loved it. The staff was very friendly, and the lunch buffet had a great selection of dishes.
The Tandoori Chicken was cooked to perfection, and the Goat Korma had a perfect blend of spices. The Palak Paneer was smooth and rich, and the Garlic Naan was soft with just the right amount of garlic.
The chicken biryani was bursting with flavor in every bite. The owner personally checked on us and was very welcoming, and the waitress provided excellent service. It’s a hidden gem that we’ll definitely return to.
The goat korma was tender and bursting with rich flavors. The spices were perfectly balanced, making every bite a delight. I can't wait to come back and try more dishes!
The tandoori chicken was cooked to perfection, with a beautiful char and juicy inside. The blend of spices was spot on, making it one of the best I've ever had. Highly recommend!
Tandoori chicken was succulent and bursting with flavor. The charred edges added a delightful texture that complemented the juicy meat. A definite favorite!!
Palak paneer here is absolutely amazing. The spinach is fresh and the paneer is so soft. It's a delightful and healthy option that I thoroughly enjoyed.Thank U
Great lunch buffet Comes with drinks
The goat korma at Minerva Indian Restaurant is simply the best. It’s rich, flavorful, and perfect for dinner.
Breakfast at Minerva is a treat with their delicious palak paneer. It’s creamy and well-seasoned.
Probably the best Indian food I’ve ever had. The garlic naan was warm and had the perfect amount of crisp. The chicken tikka masala was cooked with tons of spices and PERFECT!! Def my new go to spot for Indian food.
For breakfast, the masala dosa is a great choice. It's crispy and filled with tasty potato masala.
Delicious Indian flavors and good selection on lunch and dinner buffet. Off menu items are excellent as well
Their butter chicken for dinner is a must-try. It's tender and the sauce is amazing.
Minerva Indian Restaurant deserves five stars. From the aromatic spices to the flawless presentation, every dish showcases culinary excellence and a dedication to providing a delightful dining experience!!
The Indian food here is amazing! My girlfriend and I were craving it, and Google directed us here. Everything was delicious. When we learned they have a lunch buffet for $9.95, I knew where I’ll be finding my girlfriend at lunchtime from now on.
I had the paneer tikka for lunch, and it was excellent. The paneer was soft and well-marinated.
The buffet was excellent, with plenty of options for vegetarians. The desserts were a standout for me!
This is the best Indian food I’ve ever had. Make sure to try the butter chicken and garlic naan. The owner is incredibly friendly. Service is usually prompt, but during peak times, you might experience a bit of a wait due to the small staff. The only time the wait was problematic was just after the hurricane when other places were closed, so it was understandable.
An amazing dining experience! The food presentation was stunning, and the flavors were extraordinary. I’m already looking forward to returning!!
Dinner at Minerva isn’t complete without their mango lassi. It’s refreshing and delicious.
This place always serves hot, delicious food with great service to match!
Minerva's lunch specials are fantastic. The chicken biryani is my go-to, full of flavors and well-cooked.
We had Minerva cater our event at home, and the food was outstanding. All our guests loved it. Thank you, Minerva, and your team!
It was my first time dining at an Indian restaurant, and we went on a Friday evening. The service was excellent. I had the butter chicken, and my girlfriend had a shrimp dish (I can’t recall the name). Both were delicious. We usually take leftovers home, but we finished everything because it was so good! We’ll definitely be back!
It’s rare to find a restaurant where the owner and chef actually walk the floor during lunch. This buffet was excellent and well worth the money, especially with the free beer. I can’t wait to come back, though it might be a while before I’m hungry again.
The food here is wonderfully authentic, and the service is exceptional. My husband and I absolutely love this place.
The staff is friendly, the food is excellent, and the prices are fantastic. It's likely the best Indian food in the area. We’ll definitely be returning!
I visited the buffet, and it was outstanding. The food was excellent with a wide variety of choices, and it was well worth the price. The server was attentive, and the location was clean. I will definitely return and recommend it to friends and family.
We had a fantastic experience here! It was our first time trying Indian cuisine, and we chose the buffet to sample a variety of dishes. The food was incredible, with rich, deep flavors in every bite, and the service was outstanding. It’s a great place!
Every meal here offers a rich and authentic experience that brings flavors alive. The portions are generous, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting.
Each dish carries unique flavors that stay true to traditional cooking methods. The dining experience here is consistently enjoyable, with attentive staff and a relaxing vibe.
The dishes here are a testament to the skill and dedication of the chefs. The flavors are vibrant and the service is efficient, ensuring a fantastic meal every time.
Every dish is prepared with attention to detail, resulting in flavors that are both bold and harmonious. The dining area is comfortable, making it a great place to enjoy a meal.
I recently ordered for an endocrinology clinic luncheon and EVERY person LOVED the food. It was perfect and one of the Doctors from India was also impressed. I definitely will order again in the future for medical clinic luncheons!
The biryani was bursting with flavor. The rice was perfectly cooked, and the spices blended so well. It’s a dish I’ll order again for sure!
Delish indian food, great variety, must try!
Best Indian cuisine in the area. We visit twice a week, every week. Lots of choice, always fresh ingredients, good coffee, and the staff are wonderful. Fridays and weekends have a good buffet too!
My husband and I dine here regularly, and it’s the only Indian restaurant we choose in the area. In fact, we travel from St. Augustine every week just to enjoy a meal here. When you find that one perfect restaurant, you stick with it—and this is definitely the one for us! I do, however, like to try new dishes and I do so regularly. I’ve always enjoyed each dish. We eat both veggie and meat dishes, sometimes we go mild and sometimes we go for some heat…it hits the spot each and every time. The staff are so good, very professional and yet personable - they know our names and always make a point of saying hi and checking in with us. It really goes a long way and we appreciate it a lot. Some particular favourites of mine are: masala dosa to start (big enough to share!), I enjoy the tomato/creamy kind of dishes so always love a tikka masala, korma, butter paneer or butter chicken for the main meal. I usually finish with a coffee but also enjoy a dessert on occasion and usually choose kulfi.
Finally! A quality Indian Buffet! I have eaten a lot of Indian, but this may have been the best Chicken Thigh Butter Chicken ever. You be the judge! Not to mention the intentionality with which everything is assembled including the ceiling decorations is second to none! Well done!
Yammy chicken 65 . And the weekdays buffet are very good too
What a beautiful restaurant, but also a wonderful helpful staff. I had gotten my food through Too good to go, which already is a good start in my opinion because it helps with food wastage issues and my order came with tons of food , different than what I'm normally use to or ordering. The owner was talkative, kind, and sweet and gave me a complimentary dessert with my order. Would I drive out here for this food again , living nearly an hour away? Yes! Pros: quality food, friendly atmosphere Neutrals: none as of now Cons: my experience with this restaurant is low, as I went before closing to pick up food that was at the end of the day, so I cannot make an accurate review just based on my one experience alone and not dine in. Overall? Give it a try. I think people get a awkward review on restaurants that aren't typically American without giving the same review as most of the burger joint you visit often.
I enjoy the taste of good home cooking away from home..
We have enjoyed dining in or taking out from Minerva for nearly 20 years! The food is always delicious and authentic, and the atmosphere is lovely.
We visited this restaurant a year ago and the food quality was good. However, when we visited this restaurant this week, the food quality left us disappointing. The goat curry is a disaster. The curry was undercooked and the quality of meat seemed bad. The curry was tasteless with very little salt. Even we adults couldn't chew the meat, it was so tough and hard. Wish they skipped this dish completely. Coming to biryani - it was okay. The rice was dry but tasted good. The butter chicken was good. The naan could have been better. It felt like thin slices of dough. Desserts were the saving grace. The gulab jamoon & rasamali tasted good. Overall, the cost of the buffet ($23) doesn't justify the quality at all. The service was good and the staff treated us well. If they can fix the kitchen, this restaurant has a lot of promise.
I bought a Special paneer briyani and the taste was awesome. One thing I should say is even though I got it in offer and the quantity and quality for that price is great. You will not see that in other restaurants.
Always good food We love Biryani’s and Malai Kofta and appetizers We also like the weekly offers Nice people always can trust them for large catering orders
Amazing food really enjoyed going there with my family. Would definetly recommend!
Well, I tried this new app(TooGoodToGo) to buy some food that places will throw out. Minerva was my first order. Paid like $12(discounted price) for a hefty meal that fed both me and my husband with leftovers. Quantity was hefty, food is very flavorful, and it being from India of course you get heat ?? ?? Our 1st time trying this foreign food. ?? My husband LOVED it.
I have done many parties catered food from this restaurant. Never disappointed always very good service good food made exactly the way I want. Recently, I bought three large trays of chicken 65 everyone loved it. Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Venkat.
Ordered Togo and it was great. Food was really good. Ordered spicy and it was spicy! Hah! It came with a dessert and generous portions or rice and meat.
I ha e only eaten here for their buffet, which is really good. It can be a little spicy, so be mindful of that. I love it, though. If you like Indian food like I do, you gotta try this place.
The food is delicious at this Indian restaurant. We went in on the Tueaday before Hurricane Milton hit..and there were few customers, understandably. We were very promptly greeted and escorted to a table and asked if we wanted to partake the buffet. I was pleasantly surprised about this. Many Indian restaurants have limited their buffets to the weekend, but not them. They have a myriad of choices, with vegetarian dishes on on half and dishes with meats on the other, all clearly labeled. Canned beverages are also all you can drink. It was a little bit on the humidi side in the restaurant, as if there was no A/C being run, but nothing too unbearable. Meal was about $18.95 per person.
Best Indian food in Tampa. Nice people, good food and great hospitality. Many options for both vegetarian and non vegetarians.
I can never say enough about this place. The food is just absolutely wonderful. The spices, the heat of spicy dishes is just right. Had fried Tilapia the taste as excellent. I just enjoy myself each time I go there. As I talk about it I am craving it again. Just Yum.
I love the food it was great
wonderful food. good combo of north and south Indian. very kind staff and owners. wife and i are regular customers and never disappointed.
Delicious food and very nice servers
The buffet is large, fresh and a great variety. Owners are friendly too and ensure top notch service. Highly recommend
I was really looking forward to a good Indian dinner, however, Minerva restaurant was a huge let down. The mix grill was a huge disappointment. I'm quite sure it was reheated as the meat was tough and dry, except for the prawns. The biriyani was just a spice and rice mix. The condiments were far from original I truly hope that my American friends do not think what you get here is authentic Indian cuisine, far from it. The service was friendly though (she was alone, handling cash as well and perhaps overwhelmed ) and the roti was fresh. All in all, not a good Ambassador of Indian cuisine.
Minerva was great! I love Indian food, and always look for a place for lunch when I'm in town. The lunch buffet was good, with plenty of options. The butter chicken is always a favorite, the goat and fish were great too.
Biryani is delicious. Everything is made fresh
I tend to only be able to do takeout when I get food from Minervas because of work but I always enjoy it! Got me excited a about Indian food which is something I'm not experienced with so it's a joy to have in town!
I have been catering with Minerva for years and could never go wrong..the food quality and taste always pleases the guests. They always send everything very well organized manner and the quantity is always generous.
Amazing lamb and chicken kebabs - we are regular customers and Minerva is delicious every time!
Good restaurant, service is good and taste is good.
I love the authentic food of Minerva. The staff was more than polite, they are welcoming. I enjoyed the service so much, I returned two days later with my fiancé for dinner. I also decided to order the butter chicken for my bible class. Everything was perfect!
Really good food
OMG The best curry we've had in years. Depending on when you first experienced curry. Minerva has something for everyone. If your new to the curry world. Start with a chicken Tikka masala and I promise it's soooo good!
I am always looking for good South Indian food. This place has a bit of everything. I was little doubtful but the food was really good. The chicken Madarasi had a good authentic flavor. The appetizers were also good. I will definitely come back when I am in Tampa.
My wife and I always enjoy coming here when we are craving Indian cuisine! Service is quick and friendly. I don't always know what I want and get hesitant to try new stuff when we order for home, but the buffet is there for the unprepared and uninformed Indian cuisine patron! The buffet is good and fresh when we come in for lunch, and it lets me try different items I may not have tried otherwise.
Lunch Buffet is phenomenal! Not sure what you like? Try the rotating menu buffet and try a little bit of different foods to find your favorites. Buffet included drink and beer. Food is amazing! Regardless of Buffet or dining in, you won't disappointed. Be patient with service, staff is amazing, so accommodating, but limited people. So be sure to come with some time, if your coming outside of Buffet hours.
The food was amazing!
The food here is amazing! I highly recommend trying it out. Not only is the food great, but the quality is top-notch. You won't be disappointed!
Been ordering online for a while now and the food is always perfect. I ask for it to be extra spicy and it’s always perfect!!
Everything I’ve been looking for post Covid. A high quality buffet that serves on the weekends. Family friendly with lots of laughter. The food is great with lots of choices. Great experience.
Wide spread of main course and desserts. Delicious. Open on Holidays!
Minerva Indian Restaurant is a gem for anyone who loves Indian cuisine. The restaurant offers a delightful buffet with a wide variety of dishes that cater to all tastes. The ambience is warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for both casual dining and special occasions. The staff at Minerva are incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every guest feels welcome and well taken care of. The buffet is a must-try, featuring an array of flavorful dishes that are both authentic and delicious. Whether you're a fan of spicy curries or prefer milder options, there's something for everyone. Overall, Minerva Indian Restaurant provides a wonderful dining experience with its excellent food, pleasant atmosphere, and top-notch service. Highly recommended!
Good buffet. Lots of variety and good service
The Indian buffet was a culinary delight! A perfect mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, each brimming with authentic flavors and spices. From creamy paneer curries to succulent chicken and goat dishes, every bite was a treat. The desserts were the perfect sweet ending. Highly recommend!
Undoubtedly best Indian Buffet in Tampa and surrounding areas. Awesome taste, quick service, well behaved staffs
The best in Tampa FL...if not in my opinion top five I've ever been to.... amazing food and owners are outstanding!
Buffet is good with variety options
Great food and good hospitality!
Food Is really very tasty
Food is excellent. Some of my favorite all around Indian food. They have our favorite lunch buffet with a great selection. The spice is fantastic. Only suggestion I wish they had saag paneer at the lunch buffet!
Awesome food Loved the items Enjoyed with friends
Good place many varieties
The butter chicken is extremely good.
Delicious in taste and Worth for money.
The food and service was amazing. The owner especially was really welcoming and kind. Definitely visit!
So this is going to be tricky. I had The Indian Buffet at Minerva and below are the observations: - The Mint Chutney and Coconut Chutney were definitely frozen and thawed out, not fresh but didn’t taste bad. - The Mint Chicken Tikka was kinda undercooked and had a smell to it. The Tilapia was freshly fried however there was a pretty fishy smell that could have been eliminated with lime juice or vinegar. - Everything else was pretty basic. Things that I would like To Appreciate: - The Idli was great, soft and mouth melting. - Sambhar was pretty good. - Dosas were made fresh and to order. - The Veg chowmein is definitely worth a try. Kudos for going above and beyond and keeping ThumsUp.
Bought online. Really good food. Nice environment as well. Fed 4 people with it. I have eaten here about 3 times in the last couple of years. Always hot and delicious. Update: went there again today. No sickness at all. Food was very hot as always. Just want to add that spices and seasoning can clean the intestine just like juicing produce can. Also food poisoning can set in anywhere from 30 minutes to 6 WEEKS! So just because these bigots and people not used to actual drained and good food say something, don’t believe them. I’m glad i took a chance on this place. Im a small business owner so i know what it’s like to work hard for your family and for your dream. Grow up people. And no i dont work there. I’m tough when it comes to reviews so better believe this place is worth a glowing review for real.
Friendly staff, top-notch service, and amazing food. Came for the lunch buffet and I was thoroughly impressed with how many options were available. Will definitely be returning!
I have hardly any complaints. The food varies and is delicious. Water was consistently filled. If the plates were hot so the food didn’t cool down on the plate too quick, I believe this would be the perfect spot, more than it already is.
I live in Charlotte County and when shopping in Tampa, this is my go to place. The masala dosa and vegetable biryani is excellent and plentiful. The facility is clean. I would highly recommend this place.
Takeout always seems to be spicier than dine-in, but otherwise the food is excellent.
Delicious, variety of food and desserts, staff very friendly.
Always delicious and servings are large!
The best authentic Indian cuisine in the Tampa area. The spiced noodles, the chai, and the samosas are definitely the treat of a lifetime. Excellent customer service, friendly owners. Go check it out!
Friendly staff and tasty food
First time here. We came through an application that referred us. This place did not disappoint. The food and customer service was very good. I could easily see why people would bring families and friends here.
This place is fantastic. Such delicious food and helpful staff.
Best Indian food in New Tampa!
Some of the kindest, most and pleasant experience when I ordered for delivery! I genuinely felt that my business was valued and important. The food was also great! I look forward to dining there again soon! Very pleased.
It curry chicken was very good
Back with another review. I tried the butter chicken for the first time and wow!!! I love it here. Thank you Minerva for blessing me with such delicious food.
I’m a frequent visitor to this place, and the food is always great! The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. They genuinely care about their guests, frequently checking to make sure everything is okay. While there are other nearby restaurants that serve an Indian buffet, they don’t clean tables until you’re finished eating and don’t include drinks with the buffet. However, Minerva stands out by offering drinks as part of the buffet and ensuring that tables are kept clean while you’re refilling your plate. This is my go-to spot, and I’ll definitely keep coming back!
I loved the lunch buffet from butter chicken, chicken Marsala, spicy veggies to naan bread, so much flavor! Amazing Soups, side dishes, etc. The pics say it all!! Great staff, pricing and I’m definitely coming back! ????
Found this Gem , can't wait to come back. Food was absolutely delicious. The place was nice inside and the staff was very hospitable. Definitely recommend this place.
Consistent, quality buffet. Great staff, love the food!
Delicious butter chicken and naan! They finished my order right at the 15 minute mark and it was super yummy. Highly recommend, it was my first time trying Indian cuisine and I really enjoyed it!
Great food would highly recommend!!
Minerva is my favorite Indian spot in the Tampa Bay area. I grew up in Portland, where there is tons of great Indian food and this brings me back home. Will be coming back for sure and bringing friends and family!
The food was amazing, I went with my family last week and I am definitely coming back!
Great experience. Referred by a friend who swears by this place. Was not disappointed. Service was crazy…almost like being served by family. Food was authentic, but not trying too hard. My go to for Indian.
Hands down the best Indian food in the Tampa Bay Area! Service was top notch as well and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good authentic Indian restaurant. Thank you!
Love the lunch buffet
very good food!!!
Awesome place for date night! Friendly staff! Beautiful environment! Love it here! Me and my wife are regular’s here.
Excellent food and even better service! So kind and helpful! Can’t wait to go back!
I recently tried the lunch buffet at Minerva, and it was amazing! There’s such a great variety of dishes to choose from, and everything is so flavorful. The curries are rich, the biryani is spot on, and the naan is always fresh and warm. They keep everything well-stocked, so you're never waiting for anything. It’s the perfect spot if you're craving a hearty, satisfying meal without breaking the bank. Plus, the staff is super friendly and makes you feel right at home. Definitely my go-to spot for a quick, delicious lunch!
The food was great the service was exceptional but there weren't a lot of people I wonder why go they reason I give 3 atmosphere and 4 star total
The flavors are superior, the buffet has something for everyone. Well worth the hours drive up from Manatee County. My only regret, my stomach was too small to sample everything!
The food was AMAZING! It was so flavorful without being too spicy. I WILL BE BACK!
These guys were at Indiafest this weekend. Loved the everything (curry, chilli chicken, and samosas) we got from them. Definitely check them out next time you're in Tampa.
Great meal nice relaxing was so kind definitely going back
Great place to eat, they have a lunch buffet that is good. $23 per person for food and drinks, including beer and soda.
The food is delicious, but I think the price is a little high.
Amazing chicken tikka masala with naan bread! The samosa’s were also delicious! Friendly service and warm atmosphere! Loved it!! You will too.
Amazing food, and hospitality
100% best Indian food Clean amazing delivery service Hooked ??
Nice selection of food & food tastes good.
Excellent authentic food.
The staff were very nice, the portions were generous, and the quality of the food was impeccable! Went during dinner, but I saw they do a lunch buffet. Definitely coming here again!
Lovely testy food with a great service with a smile. Even lunch buffet includes beer.
Food is very good
Good Ambience and loved the food!
I tried the butter chicken with garlic naan for the first time, and let me tell you the flavors were amazing! I definitely will be coming back to try more!
WOW! I own and operate the business Everbowl in this Plaza, I have been wanting to try this place and finally found time today with my friend Austin. All I can say is WOW this food was incredible. We got the butter chicken and the lamb with rice and butter Naan. This was absolutely the best Naan I have ever had, and the butter chicken was absolutely perfect. The consistency, the spice, the flavor. Highly recommend and I will be back.
Tasty Indian food.. I really love malai kofta.
Don't know what happened but food there used to be good, but lately the food is been not as tasteful. Don't know if is a new cook or new management but lately is not the same. Willing to give them a fourth chance to see if there is an improvement because I used to like their food.
Food was very delicious. Good variety of different foods. Cooked well. Very flavorful. Lunch Buffett was very very good. Service was good, everyone was polite. Clean and comfortable atmosphere.
Ordered their BOGO chicken 65 biryani for delivery, I’m not sure if it was because my order got delayed or because these are typical portions, but they sent me what had to be a 5lb tray of biryani! could have been the double order in one pan but it definitely seemed like a larger than normal portion even for two ahaha Absolutely loved it, tasty biryani and more than enough for someone who likes to eat a lot! thanks Minerva!
Awesome good portion
Pretty good food, pretty expensive.
We Love this Buffet! It has gotten even better this year with a Delicious Tiapia battered in Indian spice, battered Mushrooms and they ADDED Fresh Juice ( Mango and more)! They have included Soda, Beer and Indian coffee, also! The staff is so helpful and the Bathroom area is Clean with two bathrooms accepting both Male/ Female occupants- Great on busy days like Holidays. Try it and you will LOVE it, too!
We had an incredible dining experience at Minerva Indian Restaurant. The flavors of the Indian dishes were absolutely fantastic — rich, aromatic, and perfectly seasoned. From the spicy curries to the flavorful biryanis, every bite was a delight. The menu offered a great variety, catering to both spice lovers and those who prefer milder options. What made our visit even better was how kid-friendly the restaurant is. The staff was very welcoming and patient with our children, making us feel right at home. They even offered some mild options for the kids and provided utensils and bowls suitable for little ones. The warm, inviting atmosphere and attentive service made it a perfect place for families to enjoy a flavorful meal together. Highly recommend Minerva Indian restaurant for anyone looking for authentic Indian cuisine in a family-friendly setting. We’ll definitely be returning soon!
Great lunch buffet and beautiful aesthetic with amazing artwork!!!!! Special shout out to the manager and his staff for being so kind, professional, and polite. What amazing service!!!!
Very strange experience today... Ordered delivery of the Hyderabad goat biriyani , which was on BOGO. Received delicious biriyani. It was the contents which confounded me. Mixed in with the pieces of goat , was a substantial number of PIECES of CHICKEN AND 8 LARGE TAMARIND SEEDS !! I almost cracked a tooth on the seeds! Will be reaching out to the restaurant for an explanation. Perhaps it's a holiday weekend special? ??
I just LOVE the lunch buffet because I can sample so many tastes in one visit!!! The food is The restaurant is spotless and the people are so friendly. I love the light bright furnishings!!! I would highly recommend this restaurant … Minerva’s was chosen as the sole cater the Festival of Lights at the Straz center…. That speaks to the quality of their food!!!
We had such a positive experience- food, atmosphere, service. Definitely will be back
18% service charge for 5 people. FOR A BUFFET! Makes me want to not come here again.
The food here flavorful and delicious. I have had good dine in service and the servers are attentive and friendly. Even when I have gotten a take away order, it is always ready on time and waiting for me at the door. I have not ever had to deal with a wrong order or error with my take aways either, which has happened at other restaurants. I also love the little sample dessert they give with the take aways, it’s always a nice surprise.
Love this restaurant! The food is SO DELICIOUS! The service is great. Very nice ambiance and place to eat or get take out. One of my favorite places to eat.
A great place for a date night or to hang out with friends restaurant environment, perfect for celebrating any special occasions. The food was tasty and a good portions. The service was also excellent, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure our experience was enjoyable.
This is a must try Indian restaurant with delicious dishes of amazing quality and quantity. If you are in and around Tampa, you must try!
Food is good especially like Buy one get one , please add more to this thanks
During your lunch buffet, you can pay $10 and get a to-go box. It’s enough food to feed two people or to have leftovers. Definitely a great deal for the money. You can choose vegetarian or meat option. I got the meat option, and it came with rice with meat in it, Two other different types of chicken and sauce, four hush puppy things, and a dessert, sweet pudding of sorts. It was very good.
Best Indian food I’ve had in Tampa yet- so so good
Best Indian in town
I absolutely loooove this restaurant! I love everything about it from the food to the service. The owner is very nice and welcoming. He even let me host my Elsa themed 7th birthday party at his restaurant! I’ve been coming here for almost 9 years and it always makes me happy ??.
Beautifully decorated, delicious food, kind owner and nice and quiet so we can hear ourselves. Very elegant. Top of the line Indian food. Doesn’t disappoint!
The buffet was amazing! Lots of choices to choose from.
I ordered samosas over the phone and the order was ready very quickly. The samosas were one of the best I have tasted, really recommend!
Very nice restaurant with great service.
Nice spot with great options. Their buffet is great. They’re very generous with the quantity
Good place to Dine in with family.

Nice place and delicious food. Highly recommended.
Some of the best Indian food in the greater Tampa area
Love the food here! They have both North and South Indian options! Always a pleasure dining here :)
I had an amazing experience at this Indian buffet! The food was incredibly flavorful and there was a wide variety of dishes to choose from — both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was clean and welcoming. I especially loved the butter chicken and the freshly made naan. Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Indian cuisine!
Never disappoints and the quality of food as well as service is always worth another visit. There is a sincere appreciation for your business!
Went for lunch buffet. It was very expansive. It included mix drinks, salad, veg, non veg, desserts & chai, So why am I giving 3 stars? Because the food was darn spicy. Mind you, I am Indian and can handle spicier food but it was just too spicy. Added Raita and still didn’t help. Spicy does not equate to flavorful.
We love their food!!! It’s a go to for great Indian Food!
We visited Minerva Indian Restaurant on August 10th for their buffet and were impressed by the wide variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Most dishes were delicious and well-prepared, though a few chicken appetizers ( tandoori chicken and chilli chicken) were a bit hard to chew. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was pleasant, making for an enjoyable dining experience. Overall, good to visit!
My first time here and my first real time having Indian food. Vast menu of north and south Indian! Tried several different dishes and all were delicious and flavorful! Staff made great suggestions for dessert too!
Friendly service, excellent food-love it!
Always consistent and flavorful. And always gives excellent service. Has become one of my go to Indian spots over the years.
Def should try! The food is AMAZING! It's very fresh bc it's strait from oven. Has nice staff and they serve very quick. If you go must try sweet lassi!
I had to go. It was clean. Friendly service. The butter chicken with naan was superb! It was buttery and chicken was tender. The chick peas with tomatoes had spice to it.
First time trying this place and Indian food, and I loved it. Very friendly staff and great food selection on the lunch buffet.

This is a must try Indian restaurant with delicious dishes of amazing quality and quantity. If you are in and around Tampa, you must try!

Shukriyah!

The atmosphere was welcoming. The restaurant was clean and well-decorated. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great Indian lunch buffet. I spend around 56$ for the food and tip for 2 adults and 2 years old.

The consistency, the spice, the flavor. Highly recommend and I will be back.
A great place for a date night or to hang out with friends restaurant environment, perfect for celebrating any special occasions. The food was tasty and a good portions. The service was also excellent, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure our experience was enjoyable.
The only Place where I wasted Food
Lunch buffet isn't too good....
It was okay. Nothing special or impressive.
Not the best Indian in town but worth a stop
Their Samosa is best in tampa
Got the wrong order, could do better!
I did not liked the taste.
Awesome Reaturant I will come back again for sure
Food is okay and very slow service, needs to improve.
Pretty good food, and nice service.
good place. decent food, decent price
Service is.very slow. Food taste is good.
I liked the Nan ...but biriyani was not good.
Authentic thought seems that they are always caught unprepared with called in take away orders.
Service here is slow and the food is ok but not great.
Love the Indian accents, but there is only 1 person working there at night.
Food comes pretty fast. They made indian fast food. Food was tasty
Good customer service. But they mess up on my takeout order.
Food was ok. But very expensive weekend buffet
great food. Overpriced service fee.
Buffet was just mediocre today. Normally the food is okay, but the kitchen was not on its game.
All non-vegetarian items are too salty, couldn't eat, but, vegetarian items are very good. They have to look out specially for salt content in non vegetarian items.
Food is fine, but service isn't great, 15 mins to take drink order (they weren't busy), appetizer arrived with the entrees and with no dips.
The lunch buffet at Minerva has a good spread and is reasonably priced. We went there on a weekday and enjoyed the food.
It seema the quality of food is reducing eveytime we go there. Hope the restaurant management will keep an eye on this.
Very average food taste. Biryani was so dry and seems not fresh.
The food was good but the waiter didn't even approach me once to ask if everything was well. So I just tipped him a dollar.
Average food with bad service. I asked for a drink that was not given until asked again. They forgot to charge for it as well and had to remind again to charge for it.
Owner seems nice but I guess flavors were bad. Went for. Buffet. Naans were hard. Bathura too. Pakodas were good..
Very disappointed with the sambar and chutneys, it was completely watered down. Seems like a family run restaurant and they seldom disappoint. But this one did, we will not be going back again
Food quality is average, buffet would have been much better when we pay $21 for lunch buffet.
Some of chicken items need to be made fresh. And the owner has to develop friendly attitude towards everyone not just with certain groups.
Food was good. But they were understaffed with just one server and to many to go orders. Whoever the other person working wasn't much help to the one server
Went for Weekend Veg Lunch Buffet , staff and amenities and cleans very good. Starter Ok Main Course Ok Deserts Super Drink’s Super
Today Tuesday Me and my wife had a Lunch buffet at Minerva restaurant one of my friend recommended we like the food very good and testy best part is that they use meats Halal chicken and goat thanks.
Very friendly service However, the food was horrible. I ordered the butter chicken with rice and regular naan. The naan was flat and the butter chicken sauce was watery. I was very disappointed.
Need to go early if you are having buffet, 1230 pm most of the items are empty. Food tasted ok rather than excellent. Service was great.
Couple of times been to buffet but they don't look and refill the items promptly. Not every item tastes good. Poori is hard. Not too many varieties also. It's costs close to 15$ but the availability of items is bad.
Briyani rice need to be improved. It’s very dry and hard to eat.
We went for lunch here...best part is the chicken briyani was good and they are not charging for kids. But most of the foods are not hot and the Roties are not soft to eat.
The waiter told us about 80% of the food on their ala carte menu was in their buffet but that was a flat out lie. The buffet is not worth the money just get the ala carte. Food on the buffet was dry and some of it wasn’t the freshest. Their food is really spicy but still has good flavors
Was very good but very very hot! Hot and spicy ?? is subjective, the food is good but if you don't want hot say so up front. We said so but she said after we wanted mild.
While the food was good, the service at 6PM was slow and they missed parts of our orders. Nice atmosphere and pleasant music, though. With more staff it could be quite good.
Judged it too harshly below, try special biryani. Just have to know what is good on the menu. Try the tandoori chicken.. absolutely disgusting.. Chinese dishes tastes like Sambhar and South Indian food is undercooked..
the waiter gave me an unwrapped straw for my water, so he actually touched it; which I found as a major turn off. I got goat curry and palak paneer both seemed a little watery and lacking that spice it should have. Possibly because it seemed watered down. I also got aloo naan which was good.
I ordered takeout. I got there and when I was checking out I asked for 2 drinks with my order. The lady seemed angry with me because I added to my order that I called in already. She gave me an attitude the rest of the time I was checking out. I got to the car to check to see if the drinks were there and there was only 1. She charged me only for 1 drink. I was going to go back and get another drink but didn’t want to go back and deal with her attitude. I am giving them 3 stars because the food was really good but the service was bad.
I had ordered pure veg food ie,chilly mirchi pakora cut, chilly paneer, paneer kadai and roti..chilli pakora was good very yummy, roti was really good but chilli paneer was not at all good ,it has turmeric in it which does not consider chinese food at all and kadai paneer was tasting like butter paneer masala..disappointed by the paneer dishes and also paneer was not fresh it was rubbery ..staff was good
The food is tasty but picking up an order from there takes at least 2 hours. First you are being told that it will take 40 minutes and upon arrival it will take an additional 1 1/2 Hrs. for your food to finish. Not the ideal dinner option if you are wanting to get home on time for dinner.
We ended up going g there because the Mexican restaurant next door was closed. Service was good. Food taste was good as well. Amount of items on buffet was less than good if I compare it to other Indian buffets. What made up for it was included in the buffet was mango lassi and dosa. One thing I have never had before is a fish dish on an Indian buffet. That was a nice surprise.
Service was very spotty here it was one waitress tending to the whole dining area. We had to flag her down for water and things constantly as she was nowhere to be found. Now getting to the food as an Indian I would rate this a 7 out of 10. Flavors with a bit muted and the mixed tandoori grill was quite a shame. The Chole bhatura came out flat instead of nice air filled puri.
Be careful, I ordered a Goat Biryani on 8.5.21. While I was eating it I found a rock in it. I almost cracked a tooth. I reached out to let them know and the response was less than satisfactory. a short sorry for the disappointment was the extent of the email. I do not think I will be returning to them again.
The food was excellent. We got the vegetable samosas, chicken masala, fried rice and garlic naan bread. This would be a five star rating however we were not impressed with the customer service. My girlfriend went to pick up our order and wanted to add 2 drinks to our bill and the woman got very upset and annoyed because she had already printed out our bill. When we got home we realized she had only given us 1. I think it was unprofessional, rude and a bit childish to make your customers feel like they’re a burden because you have to edit and reprint a bill. Nowadays quality customer service is how you retain customers and obtain new ones.
Placed $50+ of food for delivery at 5:15pm. Estimated delivery was 5:55pm but unfortunately arrived at 6:48pm. The upshot? The manager delivered and offered a discount on my next order. I appreciate the effort to remedy.
Well first to begin the food was good, we had no real complaints about the actual food, in essence Minerva would receive close to 4 stars if based on just the food. Our real issue was with the service, the first time I tried ordering from Minerva back in late 2020 I had to cancel my order because they could not fulfill delivery on time. This time, almost a year later we were hoping for a better experience, unfortunately it appears things have changed very little. We ordered food on a Sunday at approximately 11:30am for a 2:10pm pickup time, payment was made in full at time of order. Got to the restaurant at exactly 2:12pm and a lady who appeared to be either the owner or manager, or both, directed me to sit down (a bad omen), she called out my order to me so she knew exactly why I was there, which indicates that they did not have that many orders. I waited and waited and at about 2:45pm the lady handed me two bags, with absolutely no apology for the wait. I departed and before I got to my car out comes a young man, followed by the lady who informed me that they got my order messed up and please come back, which I did. I waited another 10 mins, all the while the lady is back in the kitchen area screaming at the staff…a word of advice, don’t scream back there, everyone can hear you. She finally emerges and said a quick unimpressive sorry and gives me another two bags. Again I depart and soon after the same kid runs after me to give me the naan bread, at this point close to a 45 min wait, I really was so astonished I just had to laugh. I understand that the place is Indian owned and run, especially being part Indian myself, but this is America and really Minerva needs to get their act together. If I ever return there it would be to try their buffet, there are other Indian restaurants around, with quite frankly just as good or better food, so I see no reason to be subjected to this level of very poor customer service.
Food was good but expect it to be kinda spicy even if you asked for mild. I ordered the goat and it was mostly bones. If you order cheaper meats or vegetarian options, you’d be getting your moneys worth. Received a dirty plate and servers were always walking around asking if you want water refills but seemed kinda rude like they didn’t wanna be there
Taste is not good. Poori is not real Poori. Rava Dosa is really not good. If you want to try real South Indian food, Please try somewhere else in Tampa area
I highly recommend going to this restaurant, but don't count on them for online orders.
good food, can be more tasty. the buffet is alright but the big issue was cleanliness. there were flies all over the place and they could have made the whole thing more clean and sanitary. i hope the next time i try the buffet the food will be more vibrant and i wont see a single fly.
Didn't like their business practice. They have a lunch buffet for 21$ and find it reasonable with what they offer. On top of it, they charge a forced 18% service fee/tax or as a tip. I believe tip is supposed to be customery. I don't understand why the service fee is when it is Buffet. Hoping this feedback helps them
I LOVE Indian food but our family gave this place two chances and it just didn’t do it for us. The food was fine. Not great, and certainly not worth the price IMO.
Everything here at the buffet is awesome. I was shocked to pay $50 for 2 at the buffet for lunch. I won't be coming back for the buffet. Maybe order off the menu.
Food was not that much tasty.. The buffet is very expensive and not worth it .. Desserts are very good ??
Don't know what happened but food there used to be good, but lately the food is been not as tasteful. Don't know if is a new cook or new management but lately is not the same. Willing to give them a fourth chance to see if there is an improvement because I used to like their food.
The food is delicious, but I think the price is a little high.
18% service charge for 5 people. FOR A BUFFET! Makes me want to not come here again.
Great food and service
It was decillious food here

Nice spot with great options. Their buffet is great.
Tried egg biryani, looks authentic.
Food is good Service great Quality is great Price is fair
Nicely decorated and friendly service. Extensive menu with lots of vegetarian selections.
Good bar-fare, nice staff at night. Nice place to get a beer, some food and just hang.
Typically food is awesome. Service is never good.
Decent food. Very good catering service for parties.
They didn't seem very knowledgeable or communicative of their menu
Very inconsistent. Sometimes we love it. Other times it's just mediocre.
Had a best conversation with chef Ramana sir ?? & had a excellent chicken chettinad... Same like hyd taste
Not bad. It's not loud and irritating, decent booth seating. Ple as ant staff, good food.
Good restaurant, fast service, good taste, cut Mirchi was good, manchow soup had good black pepper taste ??
Looking for Indian cuisine in Tampa, begin from here. Thanks!
Food was nice and fresh. I enjoyed samosa chaat very much!!
Excellent food! Sometimes a short wait when picking up an order.
Nice and clean place. friendly people work there. I saw not only indian there but also so people from other countries!!!
Butter chicken was good. Service was fast. Nice staff.
Got in on end of lunch hour. Selection a little slight, but of good quality. Service very good.
Good buffet with a tasty food. Evrything is spicy though.
Amazing Indian food especially if you are vegetarian
Good buffet with large choice of dishes. They have increased the price though
Good food,Nice people.Good for vegetarian people ,Keeping separate food. Please add some kadhipakoda.
Service was excellent food was authentic tasteful, atmosphere was soothing and peaceful.
First time visiting the buffet good food at a good price. Would highly recommend.
Good food with variety. Hot naans are served on the table. Mini sodas are amazing.
Great food, do not order spicy unless you are a regular and have built up to it!
I like it here, excellent food & service. Staff treated us so kindly.
Great food, affordable, and even includes soft drinks, coconut water, and awesome butter chicken.
The food is amazing...service a little slow but we weren't in a big hurry....but the food worth it!
I love their food, I just wish every meal was served with nan.
Great food. A bit expensive depending on what you order but still very good.
Good Indian food with decent service. The ice tea was too sweet but that's a minor complaint.
This is really good food. Staff is very courteous. Nons and dosa served at your table.
Very good food. Very nice people. Very clean. Love it here!
Food was outstanding, will be back for sure, only thing the waitress didn't speak or understand English very well but other than that it was a good experience.
We enjoyed the buffet, good variety for both veg and non veg. Highly recommend
Good food. Buffet. Big menu.
Overall good experience. Paneer is frozen so you may avoid it if you dont like it.
I'm an Uber Eats driver and I only picked up food from this restaurant very friendly nice atmosphere. One day I'll get to eat there.
Kheema Biryani, Chicken 555, and Soup was good. Tandoori items were kind of ok.
Good selection, no chicken tikka masala during our lunch buffet visit (tofu), but the butter chicken was really good.
Great tasting food for a good price. Service is a bit slow but the restaurant was fairly busy.
Awesome good portion
A favorite of ours. Great Staples and unique alternatives. A little spicy and you can customize your spice level.
We went for the lunch time buffet and found the food good and tasty. They now include unlimited soda and beer with the buffet price
Good place many varieties
The food was good. The service was fast and friendly. The pricing was inexpensive. Definitely a good spot for Indian food.
One thing i like about here is the free mango lassi. Good food. Lot of options in the buffet for veg and non veg. Their gulab jamun is amazing
Good option for Indian food. Food is tasty, portions are generous, only lost one star for being a bit pricey for what you get.
Dum Biriyani was good, didn’t like the goat curry much, but overall good experience.
Had the lunch buffet. Wide range of food items to choose from. Loved the goat curry, Paneer butter masala, dosa and the chicken biryani. Very reasonable price for a buffet.
Food is okay here. Not super exciting but comparatively better than other restaurants. L
The food is very good! The service is quite slow. The best time to go is when they're offering the buffet ... at lunch.
Buffet offered vegan and non vegan entrees the food was very good in flavor , a little spicy and the cilantro rice was an excellent dish
Great food, reasonable price for lunch buffet. Wide variety of vegetarian options. Would recommend giving them a try.
Great place for lunch buffet in town.. Have been to couple of other indian places and none beats Minerva.. Staff is very courteous and respectful. This is my goto place evry weekend for lunch .. The food is good with decent varieties of choices.. Highly recommended
The food is so good. The staff give it to ous excellent service. Paneer chilly is very testy.the restaurant is so clean and nice. We enjoy food lots.
Just ate at this resturant it was amazing my bf has never had Indian food before and he loved it...the floors could be cleaner also the roof was dripping there was a small puddle by our booth
Best Indian food and service in Tampa! Always accommodates the large groups I often come in with. I love this place and recommend it to everyone.
Really tasty food. First time eating Indian cuisine and enjoyed the dining experience. I enjoy dessert and the rice pudding & fruit salad were amazing
Was really impressed with the spread of items in their afternoon buffet. The number and diversity of items in their menu is perhaps best in the neighboring Tampa area. Probably will go back soon.
They need to work on consistency. Sometimes the food is delicious and perfect texture, and sometimes it very runny or thick and taste a bit different.
It was very good, but there were couple things that caused me to give it a 4. Their Raita is delicious!! We dined at the restaurant.
It was above average but I have had better. Waited a bit to get seated. There was no a.c. so it was pretty uncomfortable. Staff were attentive and very pleasant.
Great food. A bit expensive depending on what you order but still very good place to get Indian food. Ambience is really good.
It curry chicken was very good
It was a friendly family atmosphere. Being a little picky, the floor by the bathrooms were very slippery. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
I told them that tea is not fresh , they made fresh pot . We also stop this place for lunch or dinner , when we pass through Tampa back to Sarasota.great service
This place never disappoints when it comes to the food. simply amazing. the only area that needs some work is the interior cleaning. its really not up to what most people would like to see, but that's an easy fix.
Friendly staff and delicious food! The staff at this restaurant were so friendly and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. I can't wait to come back!
Great place to hog foood on a weekend. Went with my friends after a football game and we were staaaaaaarving. Comparatively more options than other buffers, mainly in desserts. Chicken tandoori could be better. Would definitely recommend if you are food hogger! :)
First time having it was through Uber eats so we stopped in for a pick up. I love it for a different choice of rather than the same old thing. Curry goat, their basmati rice, spicy ground lamb, samosas, all delicious!
I recently visited this restaurant and it is really good and value for money, I don't know the person's name who was sitting in the cashier's place, he is a pro at convincing the customers. I will be back to this restaurant.
Our food and experience were just fine. The food was good and a great value. Take out seemed to be slow and there were some problems due to lack of enough staff. Those working were doing their best. Shame on the loud folks who chose to be ugly about the situation.
Good buffet. Lots of variety and good service
Visited the restaurant for the first time and we ordered 1. Vegetable samosa - there were four pieces in a plate. These were crispy from outside and filled with the right amount of potatoes and peas. It was a little bit spicy for us(blended with green chili paste), but it tasted delicious 2. Veggie Hakka noodles- the noodles were soft and perfectly cooked. Perfect balance of spices, but it was little too much oil. I am pretty sure we can customize this by asking for less oil. Other than that it was great 3. Vegetable Biryani - the rice was good, but I cannot buy that it is a “ Hyderabadi dum biryani.” There was too much ghee and a lot of curry leaves( I have never seen curry leaves in Hyderabadi biryani). It can sell for “ghee rice or puloa.” The taste was good if it is marketed as puloa. The ambiance is good, but it is a little warmer. We asked for AC temperature to be reduced, but there was not much change Service is slow, but there was only one guy who was running through other three tables, I visited a weekday, maybe that is the reason they had limited staff The portions are huge and are more than enough for two people. Complimentary papad and chutneys were perfect. The papad is fried in the oil instead of a roast.
Good Ambience and loved the food!
This is a very good Indian restaurant in this area. I ordered Kadhayi Paneer & matar paneer with Garlic naan and chilli naan. The dish came with peas rice. Both the dishes were delicious and amount was perfect for two people. Ambiance was nice. Decent size restaurant. I don’t live here, but if I come again I’ll visit again.
Excellent array of choices and every dish we ordered was delicious. We went for lunch and were surprised they had a buffet. We opted for ordering off the menu since we wanted to take home the leftovers. Prices were reasonable and generous quantity. We will be back .
Had the buffet here. The food was good. Desserts were nice. Their service is prompt and staff is friendly.
I ordered chicken dum biriyani, samosas and chicken 65. Everything was made well. I felt like I got my money's worth. Thank you Minerva for making me want to take more servings than I usually do. And the complimentary ladoo (a round indian sweet) made my son very happy.
Clean dining. environment and very nice service. Buffet style Indian dishes. Foods are delicious. They will serve indian bread besides the dishes you take from buffet bar and you can refill if you want. Curry are not too spicy if you can't eat too spicy foods. Actually they have marked basic flavors for some dishes so you can know if it's spicy or sweet. I think they provide very nice Indian foods because when I enjoy lunch there, many Indian customers came in for lunch too.
Ordered food delivered from Minerva, so review is based on food not the atmosphere of the restaurant. I'm not an expert on Indian food, but I can say that I did enjoy it. The Tandoori Chicken was delicious. The Tikka Misala was filling but not particularly flavorful. It had the desired amount of spiciness, but not much flavor. I liked all the sauces that came with the meal, which is something I don't believe all Indian restaurants would provide. I was especially a fan of how everything was packaged. You can tell there was some care in making sure the food did not spill or lose its presentation. Certainly worth visiting Minerva's again.
Delicious Indian flavors and good selection on lunch and dinner buffet. Off menu items are excellent as well
Extensive menu, very reasonably priced with large portions. Happy hour prices for domestic and some imported beers $1. Most importantly, the food was delicious.
I ordered the garlic naan, vegetable samosas and butter chicken here to go. It was not terrible but would not say the best I've ever had. The butter chicken is good, more salty and spicier than other ones I've had. I ordered the mild butter chicken and this was a little spicy for me and I like spicy. If you enjoy more spicy butter chicken, then this is the place but I enjoy the more sweet version. So for The rice mild it down, it comes with green sauce which is not spicy. It is comparable in price with most Indian places that I've been to.
This is a terrific Indian restaurant that offers a wide variety of authentic food from north and south India. The prices are extremely reasonable and the food was delicious. The service was mediocre as I had to ask at least twice for everything that our table requested. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
The food is awesome.. check fry was so good, chicken kebab need little bit spicy. The main thing is sweet mango chutney. It's so tasty worth for the money. I tasted all food without wasting a piece
Food was food, service was very attentive. We will definitely go back. This may sound a bit harsh but in the service industry interactions matter. I'd suggest the staff to have a little more enthusiasm, they seemed very nice though, maybe just tired. Gobi Manchurian was excellent.
This was my first adventure in the realm of Indian food. Everything I tried was delicious and I would definitely return. My only suggestion for the buffet would be a small explanation of what the different sauces or chutneys are used for and the best way to pair them. I didn't know what to do with them, so I didn't get any. Also, as beautiful and themed as the entrance is, I felt claustrophobic waiting to be seated because of how enclosed it is. Overall wide variety of choices and great food. No fountain drinks, only canned sodas. Beer for additional low cost ($1 each).
Minerva is my default go to place for Indian food. I love the spread and the general ambience of the hotel
Very decent, fair and delicious Indian food restaurant with lunch buffet as an option (very few doing it). Not a fancy place, but a simple, clean and open space type of restaurant. Family owned and operated. Service gets slower when house is full as Sunday’s lunch time, but owners try their best to make it up for customers. Buffet is not huge but has many different Indian food options ranging from 100% vegetarian to fish, chicken and goat to cater to all dinners. It also has included in the buffet a few Indian dessert options. Fruit salad with mango sauce is the best. Price is fair and it has a small variety of drinks including soda cans. I have been there many times but today was special occasion with foreign visitors trying Indian food for first time. Everyone loved it. Strongly recommend this place when in the area.
Tasty food and even left us a suprise dessert in the bag. Just wish I knew I just had to grab my takeout when I got there, instead of waiting for someone to help me. But that could have been my fault, idk, food is tasty
Terrific buffet with lots of tasty options and a good selection of Indian beer.
They have a nice customer service and food taste good
Pretty good food, pretty expensive.
Had a good variety of options for lunch buffet on Friday. Chicken 65, chicken korma and chinese noodles were good. They also provide disposable gloves considering covid.
Good flavors, awesome menu, lacking in the paneer naan, might be me but I need alot more cheese, prices are reasonable, totally worth an try. Lamb tiki masala was tender and saucey.
The food was great the service was exceptional but there weren't a lot of people I wonder why go they reason I give 3 atmosphere and 4 star total
Indulge yourselves in a mouthwatering Indian buffet with tantalizing freshness & this culinary landscape brings you an exquisite array of flavors & spices . Excellent vegetarian options & beverage included .
Good variety of food offered on the lunch buffet. The food was flavorful and the service was prompt. This was my first visit, but it won't be my last. This is located in the shopping plaza w/ Publix at Cross Creek and Bruce B Downs Blvd. If you like Indian cuisine, give it a try- you will not be disappointed.
I have hardly any complaints. The food varies and is delicious. Water was consistently filled. If the plates were hot so the food didn’t cool down on the plate too quick, I believe this would be the perfect spot, more than it already is.
Food was very delicious. Good variety of different foods. Cooked well. Very flavorful. Lunch Buffett was very very good. Service was good, everyone was polite. Clean and comfortable atmosphere.
The food was very tasty, and nice and spicy. The service was really nice despite the fact that there were many pick up orders coming in. I was checked on multiple times to see if i needed anything else. The prices were very reasonable and portion sizes were great. Very pleased with my first time here!
This was my first time trying Indian food. Beautiful restaurant and the food was hot, fresh and full of flavor. The butter chicken was very creamy and delightful. Garlic Naan wasn’t overpowering and quite perfect. Will definitely be back.
this place has extremely tasty Indian food honestly probably the best ever i have gotten from a place. the portion sizes are also great it last more than 1 meal. the only reason i am giving 4 stars is because the service, at least for take out, is a little bit off. i called before their lunch break and they said it was ok to order, but when i got there the restaurant looked dead and i had to wait a while for anyone to assist me. even then, they seemed confused and it took a while for them to get me my food. they also forgot silverware. still, their food is really good so i would have to say it is worth it. definitely a little pricey but that is the case with most Indian places. They also gave me a complimentary free dessert of rice pudding which was very nice and tasted good. I like their vegetarian samosas as well.
I very much enjoyed the delicious taste and authentic Indian flavours The buffet is varied and worth trying The sweets are very delicious Thank you all My second visit to the restaurant Thank God, it was wonderful and delicious ???? Indian dishes and very delicious flavors Thank you all
Lunch buffet was delicious and a good value.
Delicious, flavorful, and varied buffet. Very good naàn. Will be back - a new favorite.

Great place to eat selection changes slightly on the buffet day to day so it's always worth a revisit. Best Indian style food around.
Amazing food, I always come here for the fried rice and samosas. Very consistent, huge portions, super fair price. Yum.
Got some butter chicken and a mango lassi and they were GREAT! Decor was also pretty neat, though I only stopped by to pickup food.
Awesome Service. Food was little spicy but they changed instantly. Will definitely visit again

Food is absolutely terrific. Super nice people and overall great place. Just picked up naan and butter chicken. So very good.
We had the food delivered. The food was delicious and nothing was spilled. The delivery driver was great!
Food was delicious and spicy, just the way it should be. We came 20 minutes before closing but they brought more food to our table and the service was very good.
The butter chicken is extremely good.
Delicious in taste and Worth for money.
I was here for the lunch buffet. The food is great, must try vegetable biryani and butter chicken. Very good service, boss man brought extra naan and pancakes for me and my friends.
Absolutely amazing, the food was so flavorful. Our server was very knowledgeable and recommended everything we tried! Will return!!
Great buffet, with good options for vegetarians as well! Desserts were a highlight for me!
If you are looking for good Indian food in the New Tampa area, this restaurant has it all. Fresh, clean and tasty food. Customer service is also great.
Excellent variety of Indian food in the Buffet. Reasonable prices.
We absolutely love Minerva! They have the best Indian food and great prices. My personal favorite is the butter chicken and garlic naan. Yummmm! ??
service is always excellent even when they have a full house. bring your appetite because portions are large. food is similar to a cafe in portland i liked.
The food was very good, the server was very nice, & they didn't mind that we hung out way past the time we had finished eating. I will definitely be coming back.
We had the Butter Chickenand Chicken Tikki Marsala. Garlic Naan. Lamb samosas. Food was amazing and service was wonderful. Will definitely come back again.
Great Indian place! Probably my favorite Indian place so far. Here they have the thick Indian curry. Don't be deceived by the small pot. Highly recommended
Great food and good hospitality!
Food was delicious, many options in their lunch buffet that also include a soda or beer with the price. Price was good. Clean place.
First time trying Indian food and this place did not disappoint. I ordered through DoorDash, the portions were generous for the price, and food was still hot upon arrival.
Finally found an Indian buffet with my favorite goat curry. Great place and good services. The chili chicken and curry goat are my favorite. The mango juice is also recommended.
I ordered the butter chicken thru uber eats and let me tell you it was just wonderful. So flavorful, satisfying and reasonably priced. Now that I've tasted ill certainly be back for more. Thank you ??
This Indian restaurant is one of the best I've been to for a long time and it's still one of my go to restaurants. It has great variety if foods and has a buffet at certain times. I LOVE THIS PLACE
The food was outstanding, and the service was great, as well! There were so many delicious vegetarian options. We definitely will become regulars at this restaurant!
had a buffet lunch with my friend, great quality food and the selection of the buffet was huge. can't say I could have wanted anything more. Staff was pretty friendly and I definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good price buffet for authentic indian
Biryani is delicious. Everything is made fresh
I went for the lunch buffet today and the food was amazing! This is my new favorite Indian restaurant! Friendly service, clean restaurant and they bring hot dosa and naan to your table. Definitely coming back.
Big supporter of Tabla in the past. Something changed over there. Buddy told me to give Minerva a shot. Wish I would have way before. Quality of food much better! Will def be back. Enjoyed just as much as Curry Leaves in S Tampa.
Best Indian food in the whole of North Tampa, New Tampa, and Wesley Chapel. Wide variety to choose from. Goat and Chicken Masala always present for lunch buffet. Great service as well.
Visited this restaurant for the first time last week and I can say the food is very delicious. I loved their chili chicken , biryani and nan.. kadai paneer was ok not as I expected but overall a good experience. Pls maintain this quality. Definitely will visit again.
Their buffet lunch is always very fresh and home cooked tasting, flavorful and with lots of variety in the dishes. Atmosphere is nice and quiet and service is prompt and friendly.
Amazing Indian food in New tampa area.India has a vast culture. Every regions food (same dish) might taste different. A huge shout out to the owner Mr.Venkat, who every time fills me up with Northern indian flavors.. .and with requested spice level... Must try the indian beers, if u r a beer fan... Soon our cricket team and friends will be there.. Thanks again......
Excellent indian food. One of the few restaurants in tampa to serve good indian food. I had lunch buffet and every dish was perfect. They did not leave any room for complaint. I mostly ate non veg but my friend ate vegetarian and he mentioned that veg food was really tasty. I would definitely reccommend this place and will be returning soon.
Went for the Lunch buffet and it was delicious!! Great service, great food and very friendly. Definitely recommend coming.
The service was really great. We did buffet to go. Everything looked fresh. They have a wide variety of dishes to choose from. They gave us fresh naan as well!
Incredible dining experience! The presentation of the food was beautiful, and the flavors were out of this world. I can't wait to come back!
Easily the best authentic Indian food you can get in Wesley chapel/New Tampa area!! The chicken Tikka masala and the lamb samosas are my favorite. Give them a try you won't regret it!
Great staff and reasonable prices. One of most favorite places to eat near Tampa. The Naan is also so good! I recommend the butter garlic ????
Dinner at Minerva isn’t complete without their mango lassi. It’s refreshing and delicious.
For breakfast, the masala dosa is a great choice. It's crispy and filled with tasty potato masala.
The food is lovely, taste and smell mouth watering. If you want to eat authentic Indian food and delicacies this is the place. Owner and staff are awesome loved the place. I would wish to give 7 star to it overall!
1st time here, staff is friendly, the decor and atmosphere is beautifully done and the food is excellent! I highly recommend this place if you like Indian cuisine like I do. I will come back.
I wish I could give 6 stars. Polite host who took care of everything. They were ready to go above and beyond even with a buffet serve.Taste was authentic and every single dish was worth a try. Very extended breakfast buffet. Must to go place.
Fantastic food and great vegan options that are clearly marked.
We went to the buffet and it was amazing. I loved everything about it down to the smallest detail; not only did they have delicious food, but I also appreciated how they set out free soft drinks and mango drinks! They also had a lot of variety from naan and sabzi to sambar, idli, and dosa. Also, Minerva is the only restaurant that we found in Tampa that serves dosa in lunch. Lastly, the owner was very kind and went out of his way to ensure we got what we wanted. We will definitely be coming back!
Ate here with our 2 kids. They loved the butter chicken and the gulab jamun. Pop is included in the lunch buffet. Very good and employees were very nice and attentive. Definitely recommend!
There's great food and wonderful service. If you ask for something that they're out of they will make it fresh.
Chose this on a whim instead of grabbing a burger, and it was definitely worth it! Ordered the Chicken Tikki Masala and Chicken Spinach both hot and they were great. Just the right amount of spiciness where you can still enjoy the food.
Great taste, authentic Indian food. Our server Sai provided good service during understaffed hours on new years day.
Great tasting Indian cuisine! The place is pleasing and the food is very delicious! The lunch buffet has good variety and the dinner servings are good for at least 2 people. I love it!
Absolutely tasty food, splendid service, nice and neat place!
Absolutely delicious every time! TONS of food. Only wish there was a way to get half orders so we don’t waste leftovers. Well worth it though!
Went there for dinner last night and it was absolutely amazing from the decor to the service! Ordered tikka masala and a crepe stuffed with potatoes and they were both so delicious! At the end I got a complementary dessert sample and also a $5 off coupon to use next time! So good!
Wow. You mean a buffet exist where everything taste of quality?! Yes! I love this place, but be aware that the buffet is NOT for those with sensitive palates. It's all spicy from the curry goat to the chicken marsala. #YumHaven
Minerva Indian Restaurant is a culinary gem, offering a rich tapestry of Indian flavors; the attention to detail in both taste and presentation is commendable.
Fantastic food and service! From the moment we walked in, we were treated like royalty. The staff was attentive and the food was some of the best I've ever had.
One of the best places to get food from as a vegan. Great taste, smell, and the quality of the food is always top notch. The prices and portions are good and the food is hot and packaged well for pickup.
I absolutely love this restaurant. I have dined in and ordered take out, and no problem. This isn’t a fast food joint so the wait is a bit long. The food is always absolutely delicious and fresh.
Great variety on tasty buffet at lunch, delicious goat. Clean comfortable atmosphere, friendly very helpful staff. Can't wait to return. Not far from USF campus & FL Orthopedic Institute on Fletcher. We plan our visits to Tampa around their hours of operation. We travel from South Lakeland
Best Indian place in North Tampa Area. Has variety of Indian dishes with close to authentic taste. The people there are courteous and friendly. The atmosphere is suitable for family .Would definitely recommend the place to anyone in New Tampa
It was great experience. There were five parties visited and had a good experience. The food was very good and the environment was welcoming. The manager - Venkat, was very supportive on our special requests.
Great food. Great service. Great prices.
Food is good, staff are nice and attentive. The buffet has a wide selection, and the prices overall are very reasonable. Maybe it isn't the best I've ever had, but it's still very good and I've already been there twice and plan to go again soon.
Visited the place twice in 2 weeks and was very happy with their buffet : great selections, tasty meals, authentic, flavorful in great variety. Very interesting and tasty native tea and very helpful caring service. Everything was perfect will go again and again.
Friendly staff, great food, awesome price. Probably the best Indian food in the area. We will be back!
I felt compelled to post a review based on a recent experience. We've been dining here and mostly taking out since they opened. Two days ago we placed an order for pick up and did just that. Unfortunately it was a very humid and rainy night and the order was packed in a sturdy brown paper bag. When I got home the bag gave out and most of my order spilled onto my driveway. Fresh hot food and wet humid Florida nights in paper bags don't work well together. It was 15 minutes to close and we called the restaurant. No answer BUT the owner called me back 10 seconds later (immediately) wondering if we were trying to contact him. I explained the situation and he completely emphasized with me and without hesitation told me he would RE-DO the WHOLE order. I told him we lost 2 of 3 of the main entrees and the rice, naan and roti were fine; not a complete loss. We just hoped to replace the Lamb Rogan Josh and the Chicken Jal Frazi. He insisted on preparing the whole order again and was extremely apologetic. I returned and apologized because i felt maybe i should have been a little more careful considering the weather. He assured me everything was absolutely fine and that my completely newly prepared order would be ready in a minute. I even offered to pay for what i didn't lose and which he duplicated. These things cost a restaurant money - I've been a restaurant manager and a Food and Beverage Director working the biz my whole life -so i know. He refused any additional payment. I share because i care for businesses that just get it right. Minerva has earned my continued patronage because not only is their food great but their customer service is top notch. I highly recommend!
Great food would highly recommend!!
A friend and I ate here the other evening after he had recommended it previously. It did not disappoint. The food was great - very good flavors and good portion sizes
Best restaurant in Tampa Bay. The service is impeccable and the manager makes sure you are satisfied. The food is delicious! Best chicken tikka in Florida.
THE FOOD IS SPECTACULAR!!!! Their menu is a mile long! Everything I have ordered so far has been amazing! Order the Tikka chicken as it is baked in a clay oven, the coconut rice is an amazing flavorful spin on regular rice, the desert wrapped in a leaf full of sweet spices is unlike anything I have ever tasted. The coconut Naan bread is to die for. Stop ordering butter chicken and try something new here, you won't be disappointed. ! Haha
Great lunch buffet Comes with drinks
Loved it, had a good time and enjoyed the pepper chicken appetizer most of all
Great lunch buffet with lots of items.
We love this place! The people who own and work here are super nice! The food is delicious and fresh. We love coming here and eating here! Never had anything here I didn’t love!
By far my favorite Indian cuisine here in Tampa. Really nice place and atmosphere and great staff with excellent service! My husband and I got the butter chicken and the chicken tiki masala and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken in both dishes were so tender. My husband ordered the Haywards 5000 beer, and I'm not a beer person but it was definitely good! Overall the entire service and experience was a great add to tampa. We will definitely be back!
I order the Butter Chicken with Garlic Naan every single time and it’s always soOoOoOo delicious!! It’s my go-to takeout order for when I need something filling and satisfying. I order from them more often than I’d like to admit haha they’re always super friendly and the food is always delivered fresh. I can’t say enough good things about Minerva!
We are absolutely obsessed with everything on their menu. The service is good, the employees have a funny sense of humor but we enjoy it. All of the Curry’s are amazing.
Just finished carry-out lunch and was blown away! My order was chicken manchurian, shrimp masala, & an order of garlic naan. The quality and care is extremely evident in the packaging of an order and the complimentary dessert of the day which was pleasant surprise! Lover of Indian cuisine & believe I just found my new regular spot!
NOTE: I'm updating my review due to SEVERAL visits to this restaurant. I read reviews prior to trying this restaurant. I decided to give them a try. Well the 1st try I had the Minerva Spl Chicken & butter naan. It was delicious! I went to brag about the restaurant to my parents & Uncle, because I liked it so much. 2nd try was the Kadai Chicken & butter naan. That Kadai tasted a bit off. My husband had this particular meal just 2 days before. I tried his & his was great, which made me get it my 2nd visit. Well for some reason my didn't taste the same. I figured it was too much cream or coconut milk or whatever liquid they put in there. The taste was just a little awkward. Just a little. So I finished up my meal thinking it was good, but not great like last time. Tried it a 3rd time & it couldn't been better. I been back at least once a week after that ordering different things to try like the Butter Chicken, Lamb & Goat Kadai, Spanich Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Goat Curry, etc. I REALLY like the food at this restaurant & the service is splendid. The tasty food is what's driving me to go back plus the waiters were so nice, helpful, & amazing. I've been to other Indian restaurants & their attidudes sucked & food was too pricey for the worth! The buffet was addicting. I couldn't stop getting seconds. This is one of my favorite top restaurants so far. Yay Minerva!
Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants in Tampa. I've been to many Indian restaurants in the area and this place sets itself apart. Not only is the food awesome, the staff are very courteous. The atmosphere is very relaxing as well.
This is the first time I have been to this restaurant and it sure won't be the last they have such an extensive menu there's something there for everybody I had an Indian friend with me who has been to most indian restaurants in Tampa in Tampa. However he had never been to this one and this gets his number one grade A Star the food was wonderful the service was outstanding the owner came over and gave each of us a gift card was incredible what we're going to try to do is do their brunch on Saturday sometime can't recommend it enough
The ambience of the restaurant is amazing Staff is really good and helpful I have ordered boneless chicken biryani which is very delicious and mouthwatering. I really enjoyed the food and will be visiting often
Food is cooked delicately. Fish fry is delicious unlike other Indian/South Asian restaurants. Biriyani is good. A very place to try if you want to experience a classic South Asian test.
Went here for dinner tonight for first time ever. The atmosphere and servers were both very nice. Loved the music and decor. Food was overall good but not our favorite Indian restaurant in Tampa - that still goes to Taj. Garlic naan was great tho as well as the paneer pakora. Chicken Tikka masala just wasn't quite as good.
This is really an awesome place to go and eat. I would definitely recommend this place 100% not only because I've worked there it's also because I have ordered food for many times for parties from this restaurant and got excellent feedback from all of my families and friends. The food is extremely delicious and plentiful. The environment and food are beyond expectation. Owner is very friendly and caring not only to the customers but also to all the staffs who work there. the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I look forward to our next visit to Minerva as a returning customer. It was a memorable and enjoyable experience.
The buffet was excellent, with plenty of options for vegetarians. The desserts were a standout for me!
Recently had a catering order from Minerva Indian Restaurant. Loved the way food was delivered. All the food comes in hot case, food was hot even 4 hrs after the arrival. Excellent taste, guests loved the food. Very courteous staff and competitive pricing. Overall 5 stars from me!!
I have tried their authentic South to North Indian dishes. All are good. No complaints. Clean too. I like the Goat Vindaloo and Kadai Chicken. Of course I like spicy!!. My son likes their Veg biriyani. Good service. Online order is pretty easy too.
very personable service. Goat biryani with tender meat falls off the bone, spices come through, enough sauce for another meal. Garlic naan, thin and crispy. The food is fabulous and the hospitality is off the charts.
Amazing place delicious food and staff is very nice and lunch buffet is the best, I recommend 100% for family and friends gatherings
Minerva is a great addition to the Indian food restaurants in the New Tampa area. Although parking is a bit of pain when crowded, it's definitely better than parking at the other Indian places. The food here is great during the buffet, and easily among the best price for what they offer. With fresh dosa and Naan brought to the table in addition to the buffet foods, my family goes here on a regular frequency. The owner is very friendly and does a good bit to get to know people who come in. Go early and you've got easy access but it will fill up quick on weekends! I wouldn't mind a few more dessert options in the buffet, but there's always the menu to order from, so it's hard to complain
Fantastic place with great atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed the variety of delicious dishes. Delightful atmosphere, friendly staff and terrific food. Can't wait to go back. Highly recommended. I will be back soon.
A perfect place to visit the Indian Cuisine. Especially the Buffet on Saturday and Sunday are very tremendously delicious and a must try food in the locality. I would suggest people who are from USF should visit this place and taste the items they offer. I Love It!!!
This is a best place with cool atmoshpere. I visoted this place first time and really satisfied. The chicken was so juicy and tender. The staffs were friendly and recommend us their best dishes. Overall great experience. I will be back soon.
One of the few restaurants which has a great vegetarian menu. Loved all the dishes esp. Noodles. The desserts were great too. Last but not least try out the Indian beer guys, you won't feel disappointed.
Ordered from Uber Eats for the first time. All I have to say is wow! The chicken tikka masala was to die for, the rice was perfectly cooked, and the portion was big enough that I was able to save it for lunch the next day. They even gave us a complimentary dessert of the day which was delicious! I can’t wait to order again, everything tasted fresh and homemade.
We both had the lunch buffet. It was excellent. A varied spread with both vegetarian and non vegetarian, plenty for all tastes. Several desserts as well as chai. Very clean and was kept well stocked. Naan was brought to our table when it ran out on the buffet. We will definitely be back.
Breakfast at Minerva is a treat with their delicious palak paneer. It’s creamy and well-seasoned.
Food is usually good. Prices are very reasonable compared to other nearby restaurants. 16$ for a buffet doesn’t sound crazy for me where people end up paying 20$ for a goat pulao in nearby Indian restaurants !!! Thursday & Sunday biryani deals are worth trying
This is THE BEST Indian Restaurant in New Tampa. The owners and employees are fabulous and kind and their food is one of the tastiest I have ever had. The whole family enjoys a variety of their menu options. Enjoy your next meal here!
This is my second visit and o just say it has all the best Indian foods I love to eat. The lunch buffet i worth every Penny and is In expensive to dine, the food is fresh, the atmosphere is pleasant and it even comes with a free drink with meal.
Fantastic restaurant! Not sure why it's only 4.1 stars when we went; I think it deserves 5 stars! The Masala Chai tea was incredibly good, as was the Paneer and curry. If you like Indian food then you absolutely need to go here! We will be back!
This place has a delicious lunch. Everything tasted great. I had butter chicken and it was good although I prefer white chicken only. The bread was ok too. Everyone gets some sort of yellow fruit drink. I wished they had palak paneer though. Thumbs up! You also get $2 off your lunch bill if you write a review. Better than nothing, eh?
The goat korma at Minerva Indian Restaurant is simply the best. It’s rich, flavorful, and perfect for dinner.
My first visit there, I'm a chef myself of Jamaican food and the food at Minerva is excellent. Very flavorful and the right spice. I'll definitely be back and would recommend the restaurant to anyone looking for some wholesome home cooked style food. Plenty vegetarian options for everyone.
Wow! I've done Indian out maybe twice before and both were fair to decent experiences. Minerva was excellent! Tremendous selection, everything fresh, and the service (if he wasn't the owner, he should be) was beyond hospitable. I rolled out of there and already can't wait to go back.
Food was delicious! I had butter chicken (mild). The flavor was so awesome without being spicy. Well definitely go back. The service was very warm and friendly. Prices reasonable/ average.
The lunch buffet had great variety, was extremely tasty, and I appreciated them having outdoor seating available. This was our first visit and we were extremely impressed - we'll be back. The butter chicken was phenomenal!
I love Indian food and this place was very good. The waiters were friendly, everything was clean, guests were spaced out. Their menu is quite large and had some items I'm definitely interested in trying, so I will be back.
this place is AMAZING. great food, friendly staff, and $1 wine/beers all day, every day. I will be back the next time i’m in town!
I went to the buffet, it was spectacular. Food was great with many choices and more. It was worth the money. Server was attentive, location was clean. Will definitely return back and recommend friends and family
As a vegan couple, it is hard for my husband and I to find good options when eating out. Minerva has a great Indian buffet with many vegetarian/vegan options and it is delicious! My husband had never eaten Indian food before and now wants to go to Minerva at least every other week. The staff are amazing and very friendly. I hate to give this review because I wanted to keep it our secret little gem but I must share how awesome they are :). Highly recommend stopping in.
Never had Indian food before, we came in and the server was incredibly knowledgeable. He gave us plent of recommendation and was very courteous and made sure we were always taken care of. I will be din ingredients there again and recommending this restaurant to everyone!!!!
Loved it here! It was our first time trying Indian cuisine and we opted for the buffet so we could taste several things...the food was phenomenal - such great depth of flavor with each bite - and the service was amazing. Great place!!
We just moved to Tampa and have twice ordered delivery from Minerva. If I could award 20 stars I would! The food is fabulous! We’ve ordered different things both times and have been extremely pleased. We are looking forward to working our way through Minera’s extensive menu. Both times our orders arrived quickly. Keep up the good work, Minerva! We love you!
Very impressed the owner is very friendly and my orders are ready in sooner than the actual times. Very friendly customer service even though lot of places have staffing shortage these days. Will be doing business here more often in eating here. Keep up the good work guys.
For the 1st time I ventured on review of the reviews written on this restaurant just because I wanted to have the best Butter Chicken for my 12 yo Grandson and vegetarian curries for the rest of us to be delivered. I spoke w/ Amrita, who was pretty patient and rather reassuring, and took the instructions to the tee. As the food was delivered straight by Minerva by a young lady who deserved a generous tip in addition to rather hefty delivery charge, considering the distance!!! The unfolding of the sizzling curries and delicious Naans was just awesome.
The food here is pretty good and the guy who’s always there takes care of us well each time. Some of the items on the menu are extremely spicy, so be careful of what you choose because me and my boyfriend couldn’t eat our food last time. Other than that, everything goes well most of the time and I’d definitely come back.
The food here is wonderfully authentic, and the service is exceptional. My husband and I absolutely love this place.
Wonderful restaurant. We always get the same man who takes care of us when we come to order. He is a very kind and polite man. The food is always fresh and delicious. We have come many times both for buffet and for regular food. Their dosa is great. They definitely take good care of their customers. We love their food!
Food was absolutely amazing, it's incredibly tasty each time! The service was great, the food was brought out I think pretty quickly for the amount that we ordered and the waiter was very nice. I will be returning soon and making this my go to restaurant in Tampa!!
One of my favorite Indian restaurants. I love going to the buffet especially. They have unlimited mango lassi with the buffet, which I find fantastic! The food is delicious and service is quick for the most part. Even though this place is a little out of my way, I still go so that’s testament of how good it is!
Awesome food Loved the items Enjoyed with friends
I've found a great place to dine really good food. A must try if you're ever in the area.
Went here the other day and was not disappointed. The Medium spice level could have been spicier, but otherwise it was great! Friendly staff as well.
Ate here many times, their butter chicken and chicken Biryani are great. Overall taste of everything is really Indian and delicious! Wasn’t able to eat at the buffet because of covid 19 but they still have á la cart eat in and take out. They have good customer service and the last time I ordered I received a thank you gift card in a little envelope with my name on it. Definitely recommend!! ????
Food was amazing. Everything packed an amazing flavour Punch and the menu was full of so many options! I can't believe I haven't eaten here before. Update: ordered here from the first time in a long time and they made the BEST saag paneer I've EVER had. I honestly feel like I should drive back there and give them a bigger tip because this flavour is AMAZING. 10/10 would order again and will give a a significantly heavier tip next time I come in. I can't believe I forgot how good the food here is.
We have ordered from Minerva several times now and have yet to be disappointed. The portions are huge and the prices are very reasonable. Everything we have tried has been cooked perfectly and the flavors are incredible. To top things off, everyone we have dealt with there has been extremely friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend you give Minerva a try. You'll be hooked.
We went for the lunch buffet. And it was a great decision! They have plenty of options each very authentic and flavorful. I was a huge fan of the goat stew. They also have plenty of chutney options and of course my favorite one was the mint green one. I also appreciated that the non-came out fresh and we got two different kinds. The buffet includes a can of soda. I will definitely be back.
The paneer butter masala was a delight. The sauce was creamy and rich, and the paneer was cooked just right. Highly recommend it! Thanks
The overall food experience was great. I ordered their butter chicken (medium heat) and garlic naan. My boyfriend had the butter chicken (extremely hot), cheese naan, and mango lassi. The service experience was terrible. Our server/busser was rushing us
I tried the fish curry, and it was fantastic. The fish was fresh, and the curry had a wonderful balance of flavors. A must-try dish!!
The ambiance at Minerva Indian Restaurant is inviting, and the food is a delightful symphony of spices. Impeccable service and a great selection of dishes make it a top choice for Indian cuisine enthusiasts.
Great food with perfect Indian taste, nice ambiance, and friendly service. it wasn't crowded yet and it didn't disappoint. Every dish came out hot and tasty! I can really appreciate the fact they have more options for their dishes vegetarian, chicken, shrimp, lamb...
Nice place, some great food. The server was very nice and helpful. I loved their home made hot sauce. The Calzone is awesome. It's made from scratch. You may have to wait a bit. But it was worth it A few items on the menu were not available (specifically the ones that we asked for). But it was explained why and that they were in the process of updating the menu. All in all a good experience and some great food.
Good place for a quick buffet. I particularly liked their chicken fry. The place offers a wide spread of vegetarian items, so dear vegetarians tag this. I was surprised to see this place offers good selection of indian liquor/beers. I happen to be at their happy hour I guess, I got my beer for just a buck. Can't beat that. I would rate 5/5 for service and attention to detail at buffet. 4/5 for food. Overall 4.5/5 for this place since I had been here only for buffet. Thumbs up!!
The buffet was so good and had a lot of options. I love that there were great vegetarian options on the buffet! A little spicy for my 8 year old daughter (food on weekend buffet) but still yummy! The chai is absolutely delicious. Thanks for offering delicious Indian food, we will definitely be back.
Absolutely fabulous, authentic, Indian Cuisine! My mouth begins to water the moment I step inside and take in the delectable aroma. I resisted my temptation to review Minerva after my first visit. I wanted to be sure they were as great as my first impression told me they were. I was right. They are great. I’ve been there 3 times now and will be there again today with a friend. You are in for a big treat each time you go. They are consistent in the quality of the fresh food they serve. You’ll want to try everything, but, pace yourself because they have such a wide selection, it will make your head spin. For the lunch buffet, I take a little bit of just about everything and then go back and fill my plate with whatever I like best that day. No matter what I choose… I always enjoy! Treat yourself to a great meal at Minerva, and then go back with friends! They’ll thank you.
Five stars shine brightly for Minerva Indian Restaurant. From the aromatic spices to the impeccable presentation, every dish tells a tale of culinary mastery and a commitment to a delightful dining experience
Saw the ad in Khaasbat; my husband (he’s from South India) and I have been looking for quality biriyani for a couple months in SWFL— we were thrilled to find such a great value with high quality! We’d love to come back when we’re next in the Tampa area.
Food was amazing. Service was the best service we have had in a long time! Our server Manoj gave us excellent recommendations, and we had the best time. One of the best restaurants in Jacksonville!!
We absolutely love the food. As a vegan, I have limited dining choices in the area. That's why when I eat this food, I know that my principles are respected. My husband and children (non-vegans) love the cuisine as well.. the food is so fresh and there is no glass in my food (horror story from an Indian cuisine restaurant on fowler Ave). And the service is very welcoming. We love the experience that Minerva restaurant offers.
Palak paneer here is absolutely amazing. The spinach is fresh and the paneer is so soft. It's a delightful and healthy option that I thoroughly enjoyed.Thank U
I thoroughly enjoyed my visit for lunch today. My waiter had wonderful customer service skills. Very polite and patient with me while explaining some of the differences in the choices on the menu. The food was delicious with hardly any wait at all. Everyone there was actually very kind I'm polite and they were very on-point with clearing away dishes and checking to see if I needed anything else. The atmosphere itself was very clean and aromatic. I will definitely be returning, I want to try everything on the menu at least once lol
Absolutely incredible lunch buffet with all the options you could ever want. Authentic and filling with a wide variety of flavors and super friendly service. I am only upset that I didn’t find this place sooner! Will be coming here a lot more often now!
Ordered to go, they had some amazing BOGO deals, portions were very generous, great taste, def my favorite Indian food spot
I really love this place! The service is quick, and the food is perfectly packaged. We have never had an issue with spills and our order is always at the perfect temperature upon arrival. You get a lot of food for very reasonable prices as well, with plenty of bang for your buck. My son is a vegetarian and can strongly endorse the paneer and plant based options on the menu, and for people who do eat meat, I have yet to have anything I wouldn’t rate five stars as well! This is one of my new favorite spots, can’t suggest it enough!
Tasty Indian food.. I really love malai kofta.
Went there for lunch buffet and it was great!! Love their food and prices. Definitely going back again.
So much flavor in one bite I had the chicken biryani. The owner checked on us to make sure were satisfied and he was very inviting. Waitress was good to us too. Will be back hidden gem.
Minerva Indian Restaurant offers a delightful culinary experience with authentic flavors and attentive service. The dishes are prepared with care, and the ambiance is inviting. Highly recommend for anyone craving delicious Indian cuisine.
Nice pleasant atmosphere. Indian music background. Plentiful buffet with many vegan options. Authentic Indian spice and flavor.
We had Minerva cater our event at home, and the food was outstanding. All our guests loved it. Thank you, Minerva, and your team!
Minerva's lunch specials are fantastic. The chicken biryani is my go-to, full of flavors and well-cooked.
Tandoori chicken was succulent and bursting with flavor. The charred edges added a delightful texture that complemented the juicy meat. A definite favorite!!
I loved the lamb vindaloo! It had the perfect amount of heat, and the lamb was so tender. It’s the best I’ve had in a long time.
The Tandoori Chicken was cooked to perfection, and the Goat Korma had a perfect blend of spices. The Palak Paneer was smooth and rich, and the Garlic Naan was soft with just the right amount of garlic.
This place has a nice lunch buffet. The food was good and the table service was great! We will definitely be repeat customers.
Absolutely love this restaurant, especially the lunch buffet! Food is consistently great, always many excellent selections such as butter chicken, goat curry, fried fish and amazing chicken and vegetarian selections. Owner is a very friendly man who always greats my Mom and I with a smile! Staff is very attentive. The restaurant is always very clean. They even give you 12 ounce cans of soda with the buffet, included in the price and not an extra charge. They do a very robust take-out business, even early in the afternoon! This is the very BEST Indian restaurant in the Tampa area! I couldn't recommend it any higher! I'd give it 6 stars, if I could! Try it, you won't be disappointed!
Ordered tonight online and picked up in store. Very quick service, within 30 minutes our orders were done! The food was amazing and the portions were much bigger than we expected for the price (super reasonable). My roommates and I are new to the area but I think we found our new favorite Indian restaurant! We also really appreciated the surprise dessert! :)
We ordered take-out and were delighted with everything we ordered. The portions were generous and well packaged. The vegetable spring rolls were tasty, as was the flavorful sauce that accompanied them. Each of the dishes we ordered came with rice, which was fluffy and helped soak up the amazing sauces. We ordered three different proteins - shrimp, lamb, and chicken in different preparations. Each was prepared well and had complex spice blends. This was certainly a delicious treat and we’re already planning our next order!
staff here was so attentive and polite. food was delicious and the menu has such a large and promising variety all at fair prices. Exceeded my expectations and definitely will be coming back!
Delicious, variety of food and desserts, staff very friendly.
Minerva Indian Restaurant seamlessly blends tradition with innovation. The laid-back ambiance sets the stage for a delightful dining experience. The classic Indian dishes are a testament to the chef's mastery, while the daily changing lunch buffet showcases their commitment to keeping things fresh and exciting.
Every meal here offers a rich and authentic experience that brings flavors alive. The portions are generous, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting.
This place is fantastic. Such delicious food and helpful staff.
I love the food it was great
Minerva Indian Restaurant exceeded my expectations – the diverse menu caters to various tastes, and the flavors were truly exceptional. The staff's friendliness added a welcoming touch to the overall dining experience.
We recently placed Catering Order and food quality (and quantity) was great. All the guests loved the food. Service was good! Price was very reasonable! We are very pleased with the service provided.
Fantastic authentic food and Amazing service. My husband and i love this place.
An amazing dining experience! The food presentation was stunning, and the flavors were extraordinary. I’m already looking forward to returning!!
Every dish is prepared with attention to detail, resulting in flavors that are both bold and harmonious. The dining area is comfortable, making it a great place to enjoy a meal.
Amazing lamb and chicken kebabs - we are regular customers and Minerva is delicious every time!
Great meal nice relaxing was so kind definitely going back
We had Minerva cater to our home and the food was amazing and all our guest loved it .. thank you Minerva and your team
This place is always hot and delicious. Great service too!
Always good food We love Biryani’s and Malai Kofta and appetizers We also like the weekly offers Nice people always can trust them for large catering orders
We have enjoyed dining in or taking out from Minerva for nearly 20 years! The food is always delicious and authentic, and the atmosphere is lovely.
Best Indian food in Tampa. Nice people, good food and great hospitality. Many options for both vegetarian and non vegetarians.
The biryani was bursting with flavor. The rice was perfectly cooked, and the spices blended so well. It’s a dish I’ll order again for sure!
Consistent, quality buffet. Great staff, love the food!
Minerva Indian Restaurant deserves five stars. From the aromatic spices to the flawless presentation, every dish showcases culinary excellence and a dedication to providing a delightful dining experience!!
The chicken tikka was amazing—juicy and full of flavor. The spices were just right, and the portion was generous. Will definitely come back for more!!
It was my first time trying this place and Indian food, and I absolutely loved it. The staff was very friendly, and the lunch buffet had a great selection of dishes.
Ordered Togo and it was great. Food was really good. Ordered spicy and it was spicy! Hah! It came with a dessert and generous portions or rice and meat.
First time here with a large party--food was excellent. Getting our food did take a little longer than expected, however it was worth the wait because it was so good and it's made to order. The staff there was very pleasant.
The staff is friendly, the food is excellent, and the prices are fantastic. It's likely the best Indian food in the area. We’ll definitely be returning!
My recent visit to Minerva Indian Restaurant left me thoroughly impressed. The laid-back dining space provides a comfortable setting, allowing you to savor every moment of your meal. The classic Indian dishes are prepared with utmost care, delivering an explosion of flavors with each bite.
Each dish carries unique flavors that stay true to traditional cooking methods. The dining experience here is consistently enjoyable, with attentive staff and a relaxing vibe.
I only get take out and each time it is sooo good. If you’re looking for a place to chow down, this is it. The portion sizes are solid and the little complimentary sides they include make my heart especially full. 10/10 recommend.
Great food! Awesome family! Ask for Venkat. He owns the place.
This place is incredible. The food is great, the staff is friendly, and they offer $1 wine and beers all day, every day. I’ll definitely return the next time I’m in town!!
It’s rare to find a restaurant where the owner and chef actually walk the floor during lunch. This buffet was excellent and well worth the money, especially with the free beer. I can’t wait to come back, though it might be a while before I’m hungry again.
The goat korma was tender and bursting with rich flavors. The spices were perfectly balanced, making every bite a delight. I can't wait to come back and try more dishes!
Authentic Indian food. Very generous….we asked for dosa and vada in the buffet and they brought us fresh one
The tandoori chicken was cooked to perfection, with a beautiful char and juicy inside. The blend of spices was spot on, making it one of the best I've ever had. Highly recommend!
Minerva has been our favorite Indian restaurant for the past 3 years. We especially love the lunch buffet! The food is always fresh, hot and delicious. I also enjoy their Indian spiced tea (chai). The service is always great as well.
Probably the best Indian food I’ve ever had. The garlic naan was warm and had the perfect amount of crisp. The chicken tikka masala was cooked with tons of spices and PERFECT!! Def my new go to spot for Indian food.
Takeout always seems to be spicier than dine-in, but otherwise the food is excellent.
I bought a Special paneer briyani and the taste was awesome. One thing I should say is even though I got it in offer and the quantity and quality for that price is great. You will not see that in other restaurants.
100% best Indian food Clean amazing delivery service Hooked ??
I've done dine in and take out and the food is delicious and the price point is great. The quantity and quality that you receive is top tier. If you do UberEats they have buy one get one free options that are top tier. The food is on the very spicy side so just be mindful of that when ordering. Otherwise it's amazing and I regularly get food from there.
There were a lot of people so the food was fresh.
wonderful food. good combo of north and south Indian. very kind staff and owners. wife and i are regular customers and never disappointed.
Lovely testy food with a great service with a smile. Even lunch buffet includes beer.
The buffet is large, fresh and a great variety. Owners are friendly too and ensure top notch service. Highly recommend
Best Indian cuisine in the area. We visit twice a week, every week. Lots of choice, always fresh ingredients, good coffee, and the staff are wonderful. Fridays and weekends have a good buffet too!
I visited the buffet, and it was outstanding. The food was excellent with a wide variety of choices, and it was well worth the price. The server was attentive, and the location was clean. I will definitely return and recommend it to friends and family.
I ordered chicken tikka Masala with garlic bread. The food is great and the portion was good as well. The owners seem nice and are courteous. I’ll be back soon, thanks.
AMAZING Indian food! Girlfriend and I were craving it and Google led us here. Everything is so good. When they told us they have a lunch buffet for $9.95, I knew where I find my girlfriend at lunchtime from now on.
There's not a whole lot of restaurants left where the owner and Chef actually walks the floors at lunch time. This buffet was excellent and well worth the money including the free beer. I can't wait to get hungry again and come back but that might take some time.
Been ordering online for a while now and the food is always perfect. I ask for it to be extra spicy and it’s always perfect!!
Beautiful experience every time. Timely service & exceptionally fresh food. I always can turn a bad day around with some of their savory samosas. Love the complimentary dessert with each meal as well ?? highly recommend
The Indian food here is amazing! My girlfriend and I were craving it, and Google directed us here. Everything was delicious. When we learned they have a lunch buffet for $9.95, I knew where I’ll be finding my girlfriend at lunchtime from now on.
The chicken biryani was bursting with flavor in every bite. The owner personally checked on us and was very welcoming, and the waitress provided excellent service. It’s a hidden gem that we’ll definitely return to.
I can never say enough about this place. The food is just absolutely wonderful. The spices, the heat of spicy dishes is just right. Had fried Tilapia the taste as excellent. I just enjoy myself each time I go there. As I talk about it I am craving it again. Just Yum.
Everything about the meal was great!!!! The people are nice and helpful. The atmosphere is chill and relaxing. Will definitely be back!
The best in Tampa FL...if not in my opinion top five I've ever been to.... amazing food and owners are outstanding!
Today’s Food was awesome. Happy to visit again . Thanks
I recently ordered for an endocrinology clinic luncheon and EVERY person LOVED the food. It was perfect and one of the Doctors from India was also impressed. I definitely will order again in the future for medical clinic luncheons!
Undoubtedly best Indian Buffet in Tampa and surrounding areas. Awesome taste, quick service, well behaved staffs
I ha e only eaten here for their buffet, which is really good. It can be a little spicy, so be mindful of that. I love it, though. If you like Indian food like I do, you gotta try this place.
Excellent food and even better service! So kind and helpful! Can’t wait to go back!
Experience here was second to none. I’ve been to a few Indian cuisine restaurants around the country and this is top tier!
I have done many parties catered food from this restaurant. Never disappointed always very good service good food made exactly the way I want. Recently, I bought three large trays of chicken 65 everyone loved it. Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Venkat.
The food was AMAZING! It was so flavorful without being too spicy. I WILL BE BACK!
The food was amazing, I went with my family last week and I am definitely coming back!
Awesome place for date night! Friendly staff! Beautiful environment! Love it here! Me and my wife are regular’s here.
We had a fantastic experience here! It was our first time trying Indian cuisine, and we chose the buffet to sample a variety of dishes. The food was incredible, with rich, deep flavors in every bite, and the service was outstanding. It’s a great place!
The food and service was amazing. The owner especially was really welcoming and kind. Definitely visit!
Excellent Indian food with a very extensive menu. All the normal Indian dishes plus items such as Indo-Cinese noodles and fried rice. I ordered the Tandori Mixed Grill and it was excellent. Nine different Indian beers to choose from.
It was my first time eating at an Indian restaurant. We went on a Friday early evening. Service was great. I had the butter chicken and my girlfriend had a shrimp meal (can’t remember the name). They were both very good. We usually take food home with us when we go out but we ate everything it was so good!! Definitely will be back!!
OMG The best curry we've had in years. Depending on when you first experienced curry. Minerva has something for everyone. If your new to the curry world. Start with a chicken Tikka masala and I promise it's soooo good!
We have been going here for weekend lunch buffet for quite some time now. Being vegetarian I usually find less items in buffet elsewhere but they have wide variety of vegetarian dishes and needless to say the food is amazing. Plus points for having Rasmalai as one of the items as it’s so soft and delicious. Owner and servers are friendly. Price is reasonable. Definitely recommend for tasty Indian food.
Everything I’ve been looking for post Covid. A high quality buffet that serves on the weekends. Family friendly with lots of laughter. The food is great with lots of choices. Great experience.
I have been catering with Minerva for years and could never go wrong..the food quality and taste always pleases the guests. They always send everything very well organized manner and the quantity is always generous.
The food here is amazing! I highly recommend trying it out. Not only is the food great, but the quality is top-notch. You won't be disappointed!
Extensive buffet. Everything was hot that was supposed to be hot, and cold that was supposed to be cold. Some things had spice some could please even the pickiest eaters. Everything was delicious. I’ll definitely be going back. Also clean and well lit inside.
So good!! Loved the food, the biryani and tadka daal was amazing. Loved it. Our waiter was super sweet too... the price is reasonable, and quality was amazing
Went there Thursday at 11.30 for lunch buffet. Food was tasty and fresh. Love the tendori chicken and biryani. The male owner may look tough but service was good. Kulab Jaman for dessert and complimentary hot chai tea. Recommended.
Small family-owned spot with really good Indian food. They have a lunch buffet daily - super affordable, lots of amazing food options (chutneys, salads, different types of chicken, masala, soups, rice, goat, naan, etc.). Beer and wine served as well.
Everyone come to this restaurant. It’s so nice the food is so delicious. You should come try it. There restaurant is very clean. We came for their buffet and left satisfied and stuffed.
Found this Gem , can't wait to come back. Food was absolutely delicious. The place was nice inside and the staff was very hospitable. Definitely recommend this place.
I tend to only be able to do takeout when I get food from Minervas because of work but I always enjoy it! Got me excited a about Indian food which is something I'm not experienced with so it's a joy to have in town!
These guys were at Indiafest this weekend. Loved the everything (curry, chilli chicken, and samosas) we got from them. Definitely check them out next time you're in Tampa.
Exceptional lunch buffet! I had the pleasure of eating here for lunch today. I expected the usual 5 item lunch buffet. But what Minerva offers is a full selection of vegetarian entrees, and multiple non-veg selections. There were four kinds of dessert! Chai, naan and even a small mango lassi are on the house. Ask for Dosa if you love them!
Friendly staff, top-notch service, and amazing food. Came for the lunch buffet and I was thoroughly impressed with how many options were available. Will definitely be returning!
I live in Charlotte County and when shopping in Tampa, this is my go to place. The masala dosa and vegetable biryani is excellent and plentiful. The facility is clean. I would highly recommend this place.
Best Indian food I have had in long time. Buffet was amazing with many different kinds of foods and so many authentic desserts. Also includes beverage and Chi. Great value for the money. Wish I lived closer.
Very happy with my first time dining here. Their masala dosa was really good. The sauces that accompanied it were great as well! Chicken 65, fish, and the Minerva special biryani were awesome. The biryani especially was one of the best in the Tampa area. The Hyderabadi chicken curry was just okay. Service was friendly. Overall enjoyed our experience and will be back.
Try it.
Excellent dining experience today. Buffet had many veg and non veg options. Food was very flavor full. Sunday lunch for $14.95 with so many options!
Back with another review. I tried the butter chicken for the first time and wow!!! I love it here. Thank you Minerva for blessing me with such delicious food.
Hands down the best Indian food in the Tampa Bay Area! Service was top notch as well and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good authentic Indian restaurant. Thank you!
Amazing chicken tikka masala with naan bread! The samosa’s were also delicious! Friendly service and warm atmosphere! Loved it!! You will too.
Minerva is my favorite Indian spot in the Tampa Bay area. I grew up in Portland, where there is tons of great Indian food and this brings me back home. Will be coming back for sure and bringing friends and family!
Great experience. Referred by a friend who swears by this place. Was not disappointed. Service was crazy…almost like being served by family. Food was authentic, but not trying too hard. My go to for Indian.
Wide spread of main course and desserts. Delicious. Open on Holidays!
i got my food to go and thought the butter chicken was quit pricey, they did give you a lot for what you paid for. the garlic naan was absolutely delicious, especially when dipped in the chicken. i got a whole container of complimentary rice a long with some rice pudding as well!
Went to try their buffet and it was very good. They had an incredible selection and their staff was very courteous. Please support your local businesses and let's spread the word about this wonderful place!
I am always looking for good South Indian food. This place has a bit of everything. I was little doubtful but the food was really good. The chicken Madarasi had a good authentic flavor. The appetizers were also good. I will definitely come back when I am in Tampa.
I love the authentic food of Minerva. The staff was more than polite, they are welcoming. I enjoyed the service so much, I returned two days later with my fiancé for dinner. I also decided to order the butter chicken for my bible class. Everything was perfect!
Delicious and authentic Indian food. Everything I have ever ordered on the menu is spot on. Tonight, they surprised me with a free dessert and gift card for next take out order! Everyone is so happy to serve food to the community. Support small business!!
Food is excellent. Some of my favorite all around Indian food. They have our favorite lunch buffet with a great selection. The spice is fantastic. Only suggestion I wish they had saag paneer at the lunch buffet!
I tried the butter chicken with garlic naan for the first time, and let me tell you the flavors were amazing! I definitely will be coming back to try more!
The staff were very nice, the portions were generous, and the quality of the food was impeccable! Went during dinner, but I saw they do a lunch buffet. Definitely coming here again!
The best authentic Indian cuisine in the Tampa area. The spiced noodles, the chai, and the samosas are definitely the treat of a lifetime. Excellent customer service, friendly owners. Go check it out!
The flavors are superior, the buffet has something for everyone. Well worth the hours drive up from Manatee County. My only regret, my stomach was too small to sample everything!
I came at about 6:30 on a Friday night. It was pretty busy with takeout orders, so the food took quite a while. That being said, my family really enjoyed our meal. They have a really good selection of vegetarian dishes, which is nice, and though I'm no expert, I thought our mattar paneer was really good, and so was the Chaat. Came with plenty of rice and some kind of dessert we didn't even order (maybe it was a chutney and I just don't know what I'm talking about).
Great lunch buffet and beautiful aesthetic with amazing artwork!!!!! Special shout out to the manager and his staff for being so kind, professional, and polite. What amazing service!!!!
Great place to eat, they have a lunch buffet that is good. $23 per person for food and drinks, including beer and soda.
I recently hosted a dinner for a small group of 30 people to celebrate my daughter's graduation, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Mr. Venkat, the owner, was incredibly cooperative and generously allowed us to use half of the restaurant for the event. The buffet offered great variety, was delicious, and truly value for money. The staff were well-behaved, attentive, and made sure we received personal attention throughout the evening. It was a memorable celebration, thanks to the excellent service and hospitality!
Some of the kindest, most and pleasant experience when I ordered for delivery! I genuinely felt that my business was valued and important. The food was also great! I look forward to dining there again soon! Very pleased.
First time trying this place and Indian food, and I loved it. Very friendly staff and great food selection on the lunch buffet.
Finally! A quality Indian Buffet! I have eaten a lot of Indian, but this may have been the best Chicken Thigh Butter Chicken ever. You be the judge! Not to mention the intentionality with which everything is assembled including the ceiling decorations is second to none! Well done!
Shukriyah!
First time here. We came through an application that referred us. This place did not disappoint. The food and customer service was very good. I could easily see why people would bring families and friends here.
Minerva was great! I love Indian food, and always look for a place for lunch when I'm in town. The lunch buffet was good, with plenty of options. The butter chicken is always a favorite, the goat and fish were great too.
Delicious butter chicken and naan! They finished my order right at the 15 minute mark and it was super yummy. Highly recommend, it was my first time trying Indian cuisine and I really enjoyed it!
I loved the lunch buffet from butter chicken, chicken Marsala, spicy veggies to naan bread, so much flavor! Amazing Soups, side dishes, etc. The pics say it all!! Great staff, pricing and I’m definitely coming back! ????
I tried the fish curry, and it was fantastic. The fish was fresh, and the curry had a wonderful balance of flavors. A must-try dish!!
Yammy chicken 65 . And the weekdays buffet are very good too

I enjoy the taste of good home cooking away from home..
We have enjoyed dining in or taking out from Minerva for nearly 20 years! The food is always delicious and authentic, and the atmosphere is lovely.
Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Venkat.
I will be back the next time i’m in town!
i got my food to go and thought the butter chicken was quit pricey, they did give you a lot for what you paid for. the garlic naan was absolutely delicious, especially when dipped in the chicken. i got a whole container of complimentary rice a long with some rice pudding as well!
Vegetarian options: Minerva Indian Restaurant has a great lunch buffet with a variety of vegetarian options. The veggie dishes are always flavorful, fresh, and authentic. There is a wide variety of dishes to choose from, including appetizers and entrees. Some of the specific veggie dishes that I recommend include vegetable samosas, vegetable pakoras, saag paneer, vegetable biryani, and naan bread. If you are looking for a delicious and affordable Indian meal, I highly recommend the Minerva Indian Restaurant lunch buffet, especially for the veggie options.
Awesome Service. Food was little spicy but they changed instantly. Will definitely visit again
Their food, their service and their ambience is awesome.
Awesome food and awesome service. Loved it!!!
One of our favorite lunch spots!
The buffet is good here, and they have a lot of varieties with desserts.
I visited this place first time. The atmoshpere was super cool. The sitting area was amazing. I ordered Butter chicken that was amazing in taste. Highly recommended. I will be back soon
I visited to this restaurant multiple times, but this time service made me to write this review . Always staff are friendly and their dishes just amazing, fresh, tasty and presents in a proper way. Strongly recommended
One of the best places to get food from as a vegan. Great taste, smell, and the quality of the food is always top notch. The prices and portions are good and the food is hot and packaged well for pickup.
The absolute best tasting butter chicken I have ever had! Would definitely come back and try some more food wish it had more indoor seating but experience was great very delicious food !
Everything is freshly prepared. It wasn't made earlier that morning and sitting under a heat lamp all day, like all the Indian buffet places. It takes a bit for the food to come, but its soooo worth it. The decor is lovely, ambiance is very nice. Service is friendly and attentive.
This was an excellent restaurant. The service was friendly and the food was done perfect. So delicious. The restaurant was warm and clean. I would definitely return. Highly recommended to visit..
Fantastic place with great atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed the variety of delicious dishes. Delightful atmosphere, friendly staff and terrific food. Can't wait to go back. Highly recommended. I will be back soon.
It was my first time trying here, and it was amazing!! The chicken tikka and samosas was good. Great quality and taste. Now, I will always recommend someone to go here when craving Indian food. Will be back soon!
The food was very tasty, and nice and spicy. The service was really nice despite the fact that there were many pick up orders coming in. I was checked on multiple times to see if i needed anything else. The prices were very reasonable and portion sizes were great. Very pleased with my first time here!
Food was good but expect it to be kinda spicy even if you asked for mild. I ordered the goat and it was mostly bones. If you order cheaper meats or vegetarian options, you’d be getting your moneys worth. Received a dirty plate and servers were always walking around asking if you want water refills but seemed kinda rude like they didn’t wanna be there
This place was in my must try list before taking a trip to Tampa as I had seen them featured on some of the popular bloggers channels. The food was undoubtedly the most authentic Indian food we had in the states. My whole family loved the food (including the meat lovers).
The best Indian food in the area. Very friendly staff, the food is always prepared quickly. I had the opportunity to speak to the owner and he kindly told us exactly how our food was prepared. The atmosphere is wonderful
I always enjoy a lunch buffet so that I can try a lot of different dishes and flavors. The quality of the food and the choices were outstanding. Easily the best Indian food I've had in a while. Awesome value also.
Nice pleasant atmosphere. Indian music background. Plentiful buffet with many vegan options. Authentic Indian spice and flavor.
My cravings for a perfect butter chicken and biryani were sorted by ordering here. The food comes in amazing way. The chicken was tender and juicy. Loved it. The food was cooked with all homely spices and gives a wonderful taste. Finger licking gravy. ???? Overall must try.
Good flavors, awesome menu, lacking in the paneer naan, might be me but I need alot more cheese, prices are reasonable, totally worth an try. Lamb tiki masala was tender and saucey.
I've ordered from this place in the past and never had an issue. It's far, but I've had no problem paying the big upcharge because the quality was so good. This was the first time I've ever had an issue, but over half of the food I ordered arrived burnt; the chicken lollipops were so dark and dry they were inedible, and the garlic naan was burnt significantly instead of being fluffy and soft like it normally is. The butter chicken was still good, but these two items together represent about $20 in horribly burnt food. Naan was two for $7, chicken lollipops were 6 for $13. These should not have left the kitchen like this, and they have lost a customer.
Went there Thursday at 11.30 for lunch buffet. Food was tasty and fresh. Love the tendori chicken and biryani. The male owner may look tough but service was good. Kulab Jaman for dessert and complimentary hot chai tea. Recommended.
Great staff and reasonable prices. One of most favorite places to eat near Tampa. The Naan is also so good! I recommend the butter garlic ????
Servers were attentive, easy going, and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was incredibly flavorful and delicious
Minerva is my default go to place for Indian food. I love the spread and the general ambience of the hotel
I've found a great place to dine really good food. A must try if you're ever in the area.
Great food. A bit expensive depending on what you order but still very good.
Loved it here! It was our first time trying Indian cuisine and we opted for the buffet so we could taste several things...the food was phenomenal - such great depth of flavor with each bite - and the service was amazing. Great place!!
Wonderful restaurant. We always get the same man who takes care of us when we come to order. He is a very kind and polite man. The food is always fresh and delicious. We have come many times both for buffet and for regular food. Their dosa is great. They definitely take good care of their customers. We love their food!
I'm not sure if he's the owner or manager but he's very sweet! My Uber driver stole my food once, he remade it and gave me a free dessert even though it wasn't his fault at all! Really really yummy food too!
Great lunch buffet with fresh food and good service.
Food was delicious and buffet is always great to see!
! Haha
Excellent food! Sometimes a short wait when picking up an order.
Love this place. Food is always great. The service is outstanding. Enjoy the buffet from 11am to 3pm. The atmosphere of the restaurant is welcoming.
Good Indian restaurant in Tampa. The host is very nice and welcoming.
First time trying Indian food and this place did not disappoint. I ordered through DoorDash, the portions were generous for the price, and food was still hot upon arrival.
AMAZING food. AMAZING family that owns the place. They were so kind. The food portions are well worth the price you pay and you’ll leave with a ton of left overs! I drove from Lakeland to try this out and I’m 10/10 happy!
This might be my favorite restaurant. The buffet is always interesting and delicious. The aviance is delightful and the staff is very pleasant.
Nice friendly folks, serving up delicious clean food. Good and spicy without blasting your mouth away
Delicious, spicy and authentic food. Very fresh and tasty!
This place never disappoints when it comes to the food. simply amazing. the only area that needs some work is the interior cleaning. its really not up to what most people would like to see, but that's an easy fix.
Great place with delicious recipes of the Indian subcontinent. We enjoyed all dishes.
Nice indian restaurant. The biryanis are great and the food is fresh. So far, I have visited the place over 5 times and food is consistent. Their desserts are pretty great as well. Unlike a lot of other places, they do adjust spice levels pretty well if asked. Only negative would be that the chicken/mutton appetizers are not as flavorful but fish was great.
Excellent array of choices and every dish we ordered was delicious. We went for lunch and were surprised they had a buffet. We opted for ordering off the menu since we wanted to take home the leftovers. Prices were reasonable and generous quantity. We will be back .
I ordered Chana Masala with steamed rice. It was absolutely amazing. I ordered take out and the food was hot. The food was also very fresh and lots of flavor!!!
Delicious food. Huge selection and extremely friendly staff
Butter chicken was good. Service was fast. Nice staff.
Nice buffet and reasonable price ($14.99). Friendly staff..
Fantastic restaurant! Not sure why it's only 4.1 stars when we went; I think it deserves 5 stars! The Masala Chai tea was incredibly good, as was the Paneer and curry. If you like Indian food then you absolutely need to go here! We will be back!
Good buffet with large choice of dishes. They have increased the price though
The lunch buffet had great variety, was extremely tasty, and I appreciated them having outdoor seating available. This was our first visit and we were extremely impressed - we'll be back. The butter chicken was phenomenal!
I absolutely love this restaurant. I have dined in and ordered take out, and no problem. This isn’t a fast food joint so the wait is a bit long. The food is always absolutely delicious and fresh.
The food they had was really tasty. But there lunch buffet did not have a lot of options though, but The waiter was really nice.
Buffet menu is good, lot of varieties..
Kheema Biryani, Chicken 555, and Soup was good. Tandoori items were kind of ok.
We enjoyed the buffet, good variety for both veg and non veg. Highly recommend
Always going there for their buffet. Lot of options to choose from if your a vegetarian or non vegetarian. I personally like the pepper chicken which I tell them to spice it up.
This place is always hot and delicious. Great service too!
The best Indian food around. Always delicious. HIGHLY recommend checking out the lunch buffet!!
Everything was so Delicious and Flavorful! A lot to choose from and everything is labeled! I will highly recommend! Also very nice and Friendly staff!!
Girlfriend and I were craving it and Google led us here. Everything is so good. When they told us they have a lunch buffet for $9.95, I knew where I find my girlfriend at lunchtime from now on.
Good restaurant with approx 15 tables located at prime location in New Tampa Staff is good and polite We get couple of options for Jain food as well Food taste is also good.
The buffet was so good and had a lot of options. I love that there were great vegetarian options on the buffet! A little spicy for my 8 year old daughter (food on weekend buffet) but still yummy! The chai is absolutely delicious. Thanks for offering delicious Indian food, we will definitely be back.
I ordered chicken tikka Masala with garlic bread. The food is great and the portion was good as well. The owners seem nice and are courteous. I’ll be back soon, thanks.
The food was very good, the server was very nice, & they didn't mind that we hung out way past the time we had finished eating. I will definitely be coming back.
Great service and amazing food- chole and parantha. Paneer tikka is amazing as well. Fresh and tasty! Clean and inviting sitting area.
Buffet offered vegan and non vegan entrees the food was very good in flavor , a little spicy and the cilantro rice was an excellent dish
Great food, reasonable price for lunch buffet. Wide variety of vegetarian options. Would recommend giving them a try.
A VERY tasty all you can eat buffet. Great Indian food!
So good!! Loved the food, the biryani and tadka daal was amazing. Loved it. Our waiter was super sweet too... the price is reasonable, and quality was amazing
My wife and I have lived in Tampa for a number of years and never found a place that served Indian food that was delicious large portions, and fairly priced until we stumbled upon Minerva. We've been there twice since finding it last week! The dinner service is phenomenal. We got the lamb curry and chicken korma and both were fantastic. The lunch buffet also has many options for those who want to try a little bit of everything. I would recommend those unfamiliar with Indian food to come to the lunch buffet and try the different options. The service was fine, no complaints here! It is definitely worth stopping by and dining here!
Had a good variety of options for lunch buffet on Friday. Chicken 65, chicken korma and chinese noodles were good. They also provide disposable gloves considering covid.
This place is awesome the service is great everyone that works there is friendly the food is really good and the prices are fair. Some of the best Indian food I've ever had and the man who works at the counter who I believe is the owner always has a smile on his face and greets us when we come in. we drive about an hour to get here and will continue to do so as they are well worth it. Honestly don't understand why they only have a 4.1! Do yourself a favor and give them a chance :)
Extensive buffet. Everything was hot that was supposed to be hot, and cold that was supposed to be cold. Some things had spice some could please even the pickiest eaters. Everything was delicious. I’ll definitely be going back. Also clean and well lit inside.
This place is excellent. There is a wide variety of delicious food. The price is reasonable and the customer service is excellent. We always look forward to bringing our family here
Small family-owned spot with really good Indian food. They have a lunch buffet daily - super affordable, lots of amazing food options (chutneys, salads, different types of chicken, masala, soups, rice, goat, naan, etc.). Beer and wine served as well.
Very clean restaurant with good food and wide selection in the buffet . Happy staff too… definitely recommend
Great Indian food …love to visit this place again and against
Excellent Indian food with a very extensive menu. All the normal Indian dishes plus items such as Indo-Cinese noodles and fried rice. I ordered the Tandori Mixed Grill and it was excellent. Nine different Indian beers to choose from.
Our food and experience were just fine. The food was good and a great value. Take out seemed to be slow and there were some problems due to lack of enough staff. Those working were doing their best. Shame on the loud folks who chose to be ugly about the situation.
The food was extremely tasty and the service was great. One of the best Indian food I have had in the US. Their North Indian and South Indian cuisines are great.
Great food. I am vegetarian and got a lot of good food choices with good taste. Thursday $10 biriyani is a great deal. Highly recommend this place
Excellent dining experience today. Buffet had many veg and non veg options. Food was very flavor full. Sunday lunch for $14.95 with so many options!
Fantastic food and great vegan options that are clearly marked.
Delicious and authentic Indian food. Everything I have ever ordered on the menu is spot on. Tonight, they surprised me with a free dessert and gift card for next take out order! Everyone is so happy to serve food to the community. Support small business!!
We both had the lunch buffet. It was excellent. A varied spread with both vegetarian and non vegetarian, plenty for all tastes. Several desserts as well as chai. Very clean and was kept well stocked. Naan was brought to our table when it ran out on the buffet. We will definitely be back.
Really good food. Made me really happy. I got the butter chicken with rice and garlic naan. Sister got the goat tikka masala. We shared and loved everything. I love anything paired with bread. We also wanted to try the milk balls in syrup. Kinda too sweet for my liking but still enjoyed it. Tasted like pancakes in syrup.
Awesome and tasty Indian food, ambience is nice, a must visit whenever you are in Tampa, FL
I wish I could give 6 stars. Polite host who took care of everything. They were ready to go above and beyond even with a buffet serve.Taste was authentic and every single dish was worth a try. Very extended breakfast buffet. Must to go place.
Fantastic authentic food and Amazing service. My husband and i love this place.
This is a terrific Indian restaurant that offers a wide variety of authentic food from north and south India. The prices are extremely reasonable and the food was delicious. The service was mediocre as I had to ask at least twice for everything that our table requested. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
Everything about the meal was great!!!! The people are nice and helpful. The atmosphere is chill and relaxing. Will definitely be back!
Today’s Food was awesome. Happy to visit again . Thanks
This was my first time trying Indian food. Beautiful restaurant and the food was hot, fresh and full of flavor. The butter chicken was very creamy and delightful. Garlic Naan wasn’t overpowering and quite perfect. Will definitely be back.
Definitely recommend for tasty Indian food
Went to try their buffet and it was very good. They had an incredible selection and their staff was very courteous. Please support your local businesses and let's spread the word about this wonderful place!
Really enjoyed the food here on a recent Saturday night, especially the tandoori chicken. The dining room’s ambiance leaves a little to be desired though. Their food app delivery business is prolific and the dining room has become a waiting room area for UberEats and Grubhub drivers. Many of whom were loudly complaining about the wait times and arguing with the restaurant staff.
good one to grab food snacks and dinner lived it
food was good but service was slow.
The buffet is so clean, colorful, fresh and has so many varieties. The food was great. The service was excellent as well.
