Finally got to try the food everyone is raving about…. And it did not disappoint! Everything was delicious and served beautifully. Staff was extremely helpful. As someone with celiacs, it’s not always easy to find a large list of items to choose from, so I was pleasantly surprised and will be going back often! Oh- and definitely make sure you hit that dessert menu ??

Tried this place once and now I AM IN LOVEE and the food there is FIREE!!!! They messed up one of our orders (didn’t even realize ??) and offered to change it and remake it but we denied. Yet after that, they gave us free naan and some sauce that was literally AMAZING!! 10/10 shi was fire!! Staff was so kind and respectful, literally best people ever imo. I returned there a 2nd time with another family member who’s a bit picky but he LOVED it too. Y’all need to go if y’all wanna try some AMAZING Indian food!!!!! ??????????

We stumbled upon a gem after 3 hours of driving, 3 hours of flying on our way from Florida (Orlando) to Atlantic City. Angara lives up to all the fireworks its name intended. Amazing options, food quality, and service in a cute antique style but homely restaurant. Sandy provided spot on suggestions that tingled our palates on both vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian appetites. Highlights on menu we had was Palak (Spinach) Chaat, Gobi (cauliflower) Manchurian (spice lvl altered for little ones just perfectly), bullet naan (spicy but spot on again), angaari lamb masala (highest spice lvl requested and swear on my forehead didn’t disappoint at all). Recommend folks to try this place out either for dine in, take out or catering. Photo speaks for itself on left overs ??

I am so excited Empyrean now has a Hoboken location and its GORGEOUS! The staff are so kind and the food is amazing. I got the Seekh kabobs which sizzled like a fajita...the vegetables with it...gorgeous...I also got the paneer....such a comfort dish on a cold day. It's right next to the 9th St Light Rail. I highly recommend popping in if you are traveling via light rail. Take it to go if that's all you have time for. It's a beautiful restaurant but its got a friendly casual vibe so you can juat drop in for a drink...an appetizer...take out or dine in. Local Hoboken and Jersey City friends... we have a new wonderful place for gorgeous Indian fare (traditional with a modern flair). ?? Let's support our new friends! ??

Yesterday, we visited a restaurant and ordered the Maharaja drink and garlic tikka. The drink was incredibly flavorful, with a perfect balance of tajin and garlic tikka is so fresh and tase is flawless.We were so impressed that we ordered three drinks, each with a unique balance of flavors. We can't wait to visit again!

This place is amazing. The vibe is upscale, great attentive staff, and most of all the food. Absolutely delicious. I like Indian food and have tried many places but this one takes the cake. Making it my go to dinner spot for friends and family.

The best Indian food around. I used to go to India square in Jersey city to get my food and order from but after finding this gem im only getting it from there. Food is absolutely amazing and with great service the experience is amazing. Plus a full bar... cant beat it.

Me and my husband arrived yesterday around 10:20 PM, just before closing. The restaurant is very beautiful. The food was delicious, but what really stood out was the exceptional service. Even though they were about to close, the manager/owner kindly reopened the kitchen for us. They truly made our night. Thank you for the amazing hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!

I got the Seekh kabobs which sizzled like a fajita...the vegetables with it...gorgeous...I also got the paneer....such a comfort dish on a cold day. It's right next to the 9th St Light Rail. I highly recommend popping in if you are traveling via light rail. Take it to go if that's all you have time for. It's a beautiful restaurant but its got a friendly casual vibe so you can juat drop in for a drink...an appetizer...take out or dine in. Empyrean bistro is my new favorite place to get Indian food in the Hoboken/Jersey City areas. First of all the restaurant is beautiful and I personally think it's in a great location. Secondly, the staff was very friendly. Last but not least the food was very tasteful and felt like authentic Indian. They give out free Papper and we got the golguppa, tandoori chicken and fish biryani. Everything was delicious and definitely satisfied my tandoori crave. Prices are reasonable. This should be the go to spot of Indian cuisines!

We had Methi Malai Mutter, Garlic Naan, Veg Manchurian, and masala papad, and every single dish was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The Methi Malai Mutter stood out with its rich, creamy, and silky texture—something I’ve only experienced at top-tier restaurants. Awesome buffet

This place was really good. Although the dining area didn't have many people, they say their busiest time is on weekends. They do offer takeout, and while we ate their several people come in to pick up their takeout. My wife is not being in to curry or spicy food.But you really enjoyed it as well.We'll definitely go back

I got the Seekh kabobs which sizzled like a fajita...the vegetables with it...gorgeous...I also got the paneer....such a comfort dish on a cold day. It's right next to the 9th St Light Rail. I highly recommend popping in if you are traveling via light rail. Take it to go if that's all you have time for. It's a beautiful restaurant but its got a friendly casual vibe so you can juat drop in for a drink...an appetizer...take out or dine in. We're extremely grateful to have chosen Empyreans Bistro and Bar for dinner. After a 14-hour drive from out of state, we are 13, including elderly and kids, was thrilled with the exceptional service. Our family follows a strict vegetarian diet and very demanding , and the staff, particularly the gentleman from Nepal, went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. From parking to taking our order, the service was flawless. We appreciated the attention to detail and genuine hospitality we never saw like this before. He shows respect in every step of the way he speaks to us, and that's really something remarkable

The food and service are excellent as always but the atmosphere is a huge plus at this location - outdoor dining area is gorgeous, very comfortable furniture, and the interior is also beautifully decorated. Tried this place once and now I AM IN LOVEE and the food there is FIREE!!!! They messed up one of our orders (didn’t even realize ??) and offered to change it and remake it but we denied. We stumbled upon a gem after 3 hours of driving, 3 hours of flying on our way from Florida (Orlando) to Atlantic City. Angara lives up to all the fireworks its name intended. Amazing options, food quality, and service in a cute antique style but homely restaurant. Sandy provided spot on suggestions that tingled our palates on both vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian appetites. Highlights on menu we had was Palak (Spinach) Chaat, Gobi (cauliflower) Manchurian (spice lvl altered for little ones just perfectly), bullet naan (spicy but spot on again), angaari lamb masala (highest spice lvl requested and swear on my forehead didn’t disappoint at all). Haven't had a chance to dine in but Aangara has become our go to for takeout Indian. Butter chicken seems to be a big favorite in this house and my personal favorite is the Lamb Rogan Josh Indian hot!! The nan is also great to soak up all those wonderful sauces.

This was one of the best meals. The samosa tasted homemade and the lunch platter was huge! And delicious.

main dishes are extremely flavorful and could be considered some of the best in the area but I wish they could invest in a tandoor and make real naan not flatbreads it's the one thing holding them back from being a 5 star establishment

We hosted an event here on a Wednesday night. The space was great… the chicken chili and paneer chili were absolutely delicious if you could handle the spice. I also got an order of steamed chicken momo (dumplings) to go, which were equally flavorful. Ron was helpful and accommodating. Excited to come back here for a full meal.
