Yet after that, they gave us free naan and some sauce that was literally AMAZING!! 10/10 shi was fire!! Staff was so kind and respectful, literally best people ever imo. I returned there a 2nd time with another family member who’s a bit picky but he LOVED it too. Y’all need to go if y’all wanna try some AMAZING Indian food!!!!! ??????????

We stumbled upon a gem after 3 hours of driving, 3 hours of flying on our way from Florida (Orlando) to Atlantic City. Angara lives up to all the fireworks its name intended. Amazing options, food quality, and service in a cute antique style but homely restaurant. Sandy provided spot on suggestions that tingled our palates on both vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian appetites. Highlights on menu we had was Palak (Spinach) Chaat, Gobi (cauliflower) Manchurian (spice lvl altered for little ones just perfectly), bullet naan (spicy but spot on again), angaari lamb masala (highest spice lvl requested and swear on my forehead didn’t disappoint at all). I am so excited Empyrean now has a Hoboken location and its GORGEOUS! The staff are so kind and the food is amazing. I got the Seekh kabobs which sizzled like a fajita...the vegetables with it...gorgeous...I also got the paneer....such a comfort dish on a cold day. It's right next to the 9th St Light Rail. I highly recommend popping in if you are traveling via light rail. Take it to go if that's all you have time for. It's a beautiful restaurant but its got a friendly casual vibe so you can juat drop in for a drink...an appetizer...take out or dine in. I went to this restaurant couple months back and spice was too much Recently through Instagram I came to know that they upgraded the menu and and I ordered had some Nalli Gosht Biryani and Paya with Parotta and I was given Irani Tea as a complementary and I literally felt it like I am drinking Irani chai in old city Hyderabad.. felt like home and Nalli Gosht Biryani was top notch Definitely I will order frequently form here And the new management is Amazing and kind and they offered complentary lassi for my daughter and i highly recommend this place

That said, this place is absolutely worth visiting for anyone who enjoys authentic and diverse Indian cuisine. The food is consistently delicious, and the management team is genuinely attentive. A few friends and I visited for a BYOB night this Friday, and the staff took exceptional care of us. Every dish we tried was outstanding. Karampodi Chicken, Mutton Haleem, and Mutton Dum Biryani were truly on another level—rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. A must-visit spot for great food and great hospitality.

Ordered Pachi Mirchi Pulav, Paya, and Parotta for takeout. The food was really good and the flavors tasted authentic. The Pachi Mirchi Pulav had a nice balance of spice and aroma, and the Paya was rich and flavorful. Overall, it was a satisfying meal and definitely worth trying if you’re looking for authentic taste. My first time there this evening and it exceeded expectations. I ordered the Chicken Peshawari, Muliggatawany soup, and garlic naan- excellent! Best Chicken Peshawari and Mulligatwany soup I have ever had. Service was great, ambiance was great, decor was very nice. Can’t wait to go back!

What can I say — we had the most amazing experience at Aangara. Our server was so kind. We tried the Sev Batata Puri Chat and were blown away by the flavors. Then came the entrees and we were not prepared. We like spicy and our server joked he would make ours “medium plus”. The spice level was perfect — The chicken korma and butter chicken — OUTSTANDING! This is our top choice in NJ for Indian cuisine.

Highlights on menu we had was Palak (Spinach) Chaat, Gobi (cauliflower) Manchurian (spice lvl altered for little ones just perfectly), bullet naan (spicy but spot on again), angaari lamb masala (highest spice lvl requested and swear on my forehead didn’t disappoint at all). The staff was warm, attentive, and welcoming, and the atmosphere was lovely — comfortable, clean, and inviting. Parking was also easy and convenient, which is always a bonus. Highlights on menu we had was Palak (Spinach) Chaat, Gobi (cauliflower) Manchurian (spice lvl altered for little ones just perfectly), bullet naan (spicy but spot on again), angaari lamb masala (highest spice lvl requested and swear on my forehead didn’t disappoint at all). I got the Seekh kabobs which sizzled like a fajita...the vegetables with it...gorgeous...I also got the paneer....such a comfort dish on a cold day. It's right next to the 9th St Light Rail. I highly recommend popping in if you are traveling via light rail. Take it to go if that's all you have time for. It's a beautiful restaurant but its got a friendly casual vibe so you can juat drop in for a drink...an appetizer...take out or dine in. Had an amazing experience at Aangara Restaurant! The service was truly great — the staff were super friendly and attentive, and they even surprised us with complimentary desserts, which was such a sweet gesture. We stumbled upon a gem after 3 hours of driving, 3 hours of flying on our way from Florida (Orlando) to Atlantic City. Angara lives up to all the fireworks its name intended. Amazing options, food quality, and service in a cute antique style but homely restaurant. Sandy provided spot on suggestions that tingled our palates on both vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian appetites. Highlights on menu we had was Palak (Spinach) Chaat, Gobi (cauliflower) Manchurian (spice lvl altered for little ones just perfectly), bullet naan (spicy but spot on again), angaari lamb masala (highest spice lvl requested and swear on my forehead didn’t disappoint at all). Recommend folks to try this place out either for dine in, take out or catering. Photo speaks for itself on left overs ??

Empyrean Bistro is a great spot for good food and even better vibes. The food is really well done fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented without feeling over the top. Everything we tried tasted amazing and felt thoughtfully made. The cocktails are a highlight too, super creative and perfectly balanced. Add in a cozy, stylish atmosphere and friendly service, and it’s an easy place to enjoy a laid-back meal or drinks with friends. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in Hoboken.

Order dinner for pickup. It did not disappoint food was excellent and pretty reasonable. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Butter chicken and chicken tikka masala for both delicious and generous portions. I think I might just order something different for lunch tomorrow.

Very happy with the resturant's atmosphere and service. When asked what spicy level ask for 'indian' spice level if you dare. Otherwise the spice level is doable and delicious. BYOB. Nice atmosphere for date night too.

I am a 11 year old kid and I personally love indian food and this is one of the best indian restaurants I ever been to. The food was awesome. I really liked the cheese naan. I really suggest this restaurant.

The food was amazing! Started out with the Chutney and Papad. Flavors swimming around in my mouth and just the right amount of heat. The garlic butter naan was perfect. Lamb kabob and assorted chicken kabob. So yum. Wonderful experience. Gracious hosts. It was late lunch so not too busy and the chef came out and told us about some of them items. So nice that Keyport has a restaurant like this. I wish these folks all the best!
