I got the Seekh kabobs which sizzled like a fajita...the vegetables with it...gorgeous...I also got the paneer....such a comfort dish on a cold day. It's right next to the 9th St Light Rail. I highly recommend popping in if you are traveling via light rail. Take it to go if that's all you have time for. It's a beautiful restaurant but its got a friendly casual vibe so you can juat drop in for a drink...an appetizer...take out or dine in. Local Hoboken and Jersey City friends... we have a new wonderful place for gorgeous Indian fare (traditional with a modern flair). ?? Let's support our new friends! ??

Great spot for a date night! The lovely outdoor ambience, warm service, and delicious food made our evening memorable. I wanted to plan a sweet little birthday surprise for my girl, and Shefali made it extra special. She recommended their signature gajar ka halwa, had it presented like a birthday cake, and even made sure our favorite song was playing. The halwa was sweet, but my date still won that contest ?? Highly recommended!

The kebabs there were the most amazing kebabs we had in a while !! The servers were extremely polite and made all efforts to keep us comfortable. Definitely recommend the place for a nice indian fine dining and experience

Inventive cocktails, authentic Indian dishes beyond many standard Indian-American spots. Incredibly welcoming and gracious staff.

The first great restaurant I went to in this location was amazing so it was going to be a tough act to follow. Empyrean came took the apot and it is even better than Byrd. The space is still beautiful but it is quiet in the back of Hoboken by the light rail station and that may do more of a disservice to the restaurant than anything because everything they are doing is amazing. The service was top notch. We felt pampered by Shefali. She was ever present without hovering. The food arrived quickly and it was excellent. Samosa which I normally only like as chat were fantastic. The bhel was great and the mains were so good I may be craving both of them for a very long time. We ate in the main dining room but the bar and the outdoor seating looked like great spots for next time. The prices were great so also considering my next takeout also. The only thing Id want to change for in jouse dining would be either adding physical menus or a new digital menu because the current interface was confusing. A physical menu might have also made me order more…just a thought. Definitely coming back.

Yesterday, I ordered mango lassi, garlic naan, samosa, and a unique new recipe for beetroot kofta. It tasted very delicious. Everything was fresh, and $50 for two people was very good.

Had a fantastic experience at Empyrean Bistro and Bar which is their 2nd branch. The servers were extremely friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us, and the ambiance was great. The food was authentic and delicious, every dish was full of flavor. They also have a good wine selection to pair with your meal. This is a spot worth supporting, and I’ll definitely be back. Yesterday, we visited a restaurant and ordered the Maharaja drink and garlic tikka. The drink was incredibly flavorful, with a perfect balance of tajin and garlic tikka is so fresh and tase is flawless.We were so impressed that we ordered three drinks, each with a unique balance of flavors. We can't wait to visit again!

The best Indian food around. I used to go to India square in Jersey city to get my food and order from but after finding this gem im only getting it from there. Food is absolutely amazing and with great service the experience is amazing. Plus a full bar... cant beat it.

I got the Seekh kabobs which sizzled like a fajita...the vegetables with it...gorgeous...I also got the paneer....such a comfort dish on a cold day. It's right next to the 9th St Light Rail. I highly recommend popping in if you are traveling via light rail. Take it to go if that's all you have time for. It's a beautiful restaurant but its got a friendly casual vibe so you can juat drop in for a drink...an appetizer...take out or dine in. Me and my husband arrived yesterday around 10:20 PM, just before closing. The restaurant is very beautiful. The food was delicious, but what really stood out was the exceptional service. Even though they were about to close, the manager/owner kindly reopened the kitchen for us. They truly made our night. Thank you for the amazing hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!

Empyrean bistro is my new favorite place to get Indian food in the Hoboken/Jersey City areas. First of all the restaurant is beautiful and I personally think it's in a great location. Secondly, the staff was very friendly. Last but not least the food was very tasteful and felt like authentic Indian. They give out free Papper and we got the golguppa, tandoori chicken and fish biryani. Everything was delicious and definitely satisfied my tandoori crave. Prices are reasonable. This should be the go to spot of Indian cuisines!
