I catered food for a party and the owner let me try tiny samples of the dishes I wanted to order. That really helped. He communicated well and promised to arrive on time for the party. He did! Almost all the food he delivered was gone at end of party and everyone enjoyed the food. ????

Great food and service!

Food is somewhat average. It's not bad , but not impressive. The vegetable samosas and mango lassie were very good, the rest of the dishes average.

A bit of a hole in the wall, which I happen to enjoy. The food was great - had the Aviyal curry and pappadum. vegetables were fresh, flavors were clean and bright. I was surprised by some of the negative reviews. I found eating in the restaurant clean, pleasant, appealing.

The Indian food here tastes homemade without all that butter most of the Indian restaurants add to the food. Honestly after eating the food here I don't feel weighed down like I do when I eat elsewhere.

The service was a bit slow in the beginning, but the food was worth waiting for. We will definitely be coming e.

Amazing Food and Great Atmosphere! I had an incredible dining experience at Bethesda Curry Kitchen! The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavor, with each dish perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The portions were generous, ensuring a satisfying meal. Real Hyderabadi biriyani and the best dosas in the area

It’s a hidden gem. The food is great, authentic; got many choices, reasonable price. I love the chai tea it’s handmade other than tea bag. Great service and music choice; the environment is elegant. Would come back again.

The brown guy was nice

I eat Indian regularly and this is my favorite in the DMV. The saag paneer is the best I’ve ever had (including in Delhi and London). The other dishes are all mostly wonderful too and the chef is a lovely guy. This place is a gem.

Amazing food, amazing people, everything was perfect!

The lunch special caught my eyes and thats what I had. We also ordered the Masaala Dosa (I wish the dosa was slightly more crispy and the sambar needed more flavor) and Aalu Gobi (freshly cooked, whole pieces of cauliflower/potato, nicely prepared). We enjoyed the authenticity and will be back to try the other vegetarian dishes.

This is startlingly good food. We came in on a quiet Sunday evening, wandering in the area and not knowing quite what to expect. We'll most certainly be back. The masala dosa is very good: crispy and flavorful. The balti chicken was extremely good. But the standout was the chicken tikka masala. It's better than Rasika's - juicy and flavorful, with subtle spices and a nice lemony bite. The service was courteous and quietly friendly. I don't know why this place isn't mobbed all the time - really good.

Nice spot for freshly made Indian food but was oddly quiet inside. I was able to have a great conversation with a friend in the ambience of the place and the quiet was probably because it was a weekday but it felt like more people should know about this very easily accessible option and be there. Service was fast and food was good.

Delicious! The basmati rice and naan are the best in the area. The palak paneer is a bit spicy which is unusual to other Indian around here.

First experience with Indian food, and it was great!! I loved the buffet style setup! It gave us a chance to try everything without having to take multiple trips to the restaurant. It also wasn't super expensive, which my husband enjoyed lol

I have no complaints about the food. The food was very tasty. However I am unhappy about their service. I had gone there with a 2 month old & requested for a bigger table so that I could use some extra space for the car seat. They refused even though they just had one guest in the whole restaurant and in an hour they were closing. The place is a little clumsy

Went for lunch buffet - nicely decorated, relaxed atmosphere, great food! We did not feel rushed at all. Service was excellent!

Tasty Food , can try

Not impressed! Now I'm not saying I won't go back, but I know there are better Indian restaurants out there. Some of the food was lacking a little in flavor, and not a single thing was spicy enough, nor did they have any authentic spicy sauce of some sort, to the point of where they made some spicy curry paste to mix in with all the dishes. If you order a bottle of wine, don't expect to see the bottle first or taste it, they open it and start pouring the glass as they are walking to your table. They are a little overpriced for an Indian restaurant of their stature, but they are in Bethesda!
