We ordered Food from here for our Community Diwali Party. Everything was just perfect starting from co-ordinating with Shailja (our contact here), on-time delivery on busy Diwali schedule, awesome food(accommodating our specific preferences), reasonable pricing, great service overall. Everyone at our event liked the food, cucumber sandwiches were a unique and a hit item in our menu( we ran out of it quickly :)). We also got a complimentary surprise item along with our menu. We would highly recommend this place for vegetarian food and catering. Thanks Shailja for excellent co-ordination and making it a stress-free experience.

We catered for a party of 20+ and the food was fabulous as endorsed by all attendees. The trays were wiped clean which speaks volumes to the quality and taste! Items ordered- 1. Paani puri- ran out because it's hard to control an individual's intake :) 2. Cocktail samosas - ran out since these are quite bite sized so I would order per person or just order the larger sized ones 3. Malai kofta - very tasty without feeling rich 4. Pindi cholle 5. Veg pulao 6. Chapattis

Great food! We catered from carry the curry for a baby shower. Shylaja helped us with the whole catering process. She recommended some of their best selling dishes(dal makhani and gulab jamun with rabri), im glad we included these in our order. They were both scrumptious!! All the guests thoroughly enjoyed all the items ordered. Highlights were vada pav, samosa, dal makhani and the gulab jamun with rabri.

Looking for organic food cooked with clean ingredients that is also lip-smacking delicious? I'm a long time customer of Carry the Curry and they have shown consistency in maintaining their quality as well as taste. The variety of menu items is amazing ranging from regional favorites to indo-chinese. Highly recommend trying them at least once. Another thing I must mention is their easy to reach customer service. If for some reason we want to provide feedback or need help with an order, they are just an email or text away.

The food is delicious and knowing that it’s home-made makes me feel really good about eating healthy. The only reason for my 4 stars is the quantity. For the price, I do feel the quantity is less.

Not oily or salty - was quite flavorful and useful to have as a go-to backup option to have home style Indian food options on hand when cooking may not be an option. Only suggestion for improvement is to make the packaging materials more sustainable - minimize use of single use plastic and ice packs if possible. Would be willing to pay a premium for reusable packaging.

One of my friends referred Sukhmani end of 2018 and wish they referred Sukhmani long time back, since this is exactly the kind of food me and my wife crave for.. Each week , we get to choose from various North Indian vegetarian delicacies and really like the flexibility Sukhmani gives us .. The food is tasty and not like hot/spicy, which is just the kind of taste me and my wife love.. Eating Sukhmani’s food really feels like eating tasty home food.. We were given a complimentary rosagulla for our first order and it was as good as anything we have had in the past.. We would recommend Sukhmani for anyone who likes Healthy and tasty North Indian Vegetarian food..

We are a semi-regular subscribers to the weekly food delivery. Sukhmani Foods has been great. We love the paneer dishes, rajma and the occasional chicken dish on the weekly menu. Samosa and Aloo tikki are also highly recommended. The food is good north Indian home cooked food with just the right amount of masala and not unnecessarily over spiced. The overnight delivery is great and the ice packs keep the food from spoiling before it goes in the fridge.

Okay guys… So here you go! I don’t usually leave positive reviews until I’m extremely satisfied with the service. This is my first time ordering the tiffin food. I am a pretty busy but health conscious IT professional. I hardly find any time to cook myself healthy food. The food I got from Sukhmani is super healthy veg but tasty (not full of ghee or something). Besides it’s a LOT of food you get for like 80 bucks. Those 25 tawa roti breads were pretty large. 1 of them fill me in each meal. Shahi Paneer was really good quality; I must mention. So I work out daily and this food once daily seems to be working well with my diet plan (I get one heavy meal daily before my work out). But please note that this is pure veg. So for my daily protein needs, I take protein powder anyway. P.s. Rishi was awesome and went above and beyond while I ordered for the first time. I really appreciated the service. I ordered late last night, my delivery came less than a day later, and my roommate and I are thoroughly enjoying it! What a cool service! At first I was nervous because it was vegetarian food only, and most of my meals have a meat component. But that fear was unnecessary - meat is not at all needed here! The ingredients are flavorful and substantive enough on their own, and then some! The other fun part is that this has already proven itself a great way to try lots of different Indian dishes. Normally when I go to an Indian food restaurant, I default to ordering the same few items over-and-over again. This service is a way to better experience the whole variety of a wonderful cuisine, all at a very cost-effective price with convenient delivery. In short, very much recommend!

I've ordered from Carry the Curry a couple times now and they were a life saver when we were in the middle of a move during my pregnancy. Hassle free ordering, awesome flavorful food and the perfect balance between the healthiest organic ingredients and authentic flavor of home cooked meals. I really appreciated the fact that unlike restaurant meals Carry the Curry's food had no artificial colors or things that mess with your gut and cause bloating. They are also very responsive in terms of service. If ordering from them everyday was an option, I'd consider it!

I usually do not get meal deliveries but we had their food first time at friends place. It was amazing I had to ask their name, from that point on we have been getting their food regularly. first tried their food at a friend's place and loved it. I usually get different curries but I want to say their Paneer is so smooth and taste so fresh ( because they make it in their own kitchen) I truly wish that they soon start serving every day of the week. Pricing: very reasonable! We ordered 10 additional sandwiches (just in case). And we didn't have any leftover! If you're ordering sandwiches, I'd recommend ordering more. We accounted for 1.5 per person on an average. We'd not have regretted if we had ordered 2 per person too. Overall, very satisfied!

We are a semi-regular subscribers to the weekly food delivery. Sukhmani Foods has been great. We love the paneer dishes, rajma and the occasional chicken dish on the weekly menu. Samosa and Aloo tikki are also highly recommended. The food is good north Indian home cooked food with just the right amount of masala and not unnecessarily over spiced. The overnight delivery is great and the ice packs keep the food from spoiling before it goes in the fridge.

This was our first time trying out, our first order got delayed due to UPS issues but the customer service was kind to send out a new order for us for free, and we appreciated that. The food is excellent, very cost conscious and tasty! This is a perfect back up for working couples, especially if you don’t have time to cook everyday. So far, this has been the best tasting food delivery service for Indian food for us.

Sukhamni’s food is just fantastic. I have ordered twice from her now, and it is truly like home cooked food—less oil and spices. The service and delivery is very prompt as well. I had ordered an extra dish and they were sold out. I wrote to them pointing out the mistake in billing and they promptly issued a refund. Would highly recommend for north-Indian home cooked food.

I am an expat from India. I was looking for a homestyle Indian Tiffin Services in Connecticut. I work in stamford and came across their google ad. I ordered their food just for try and now i am their subscriber. I get my Indian food every week with out worrying about eating unhealthy food. The foods is delicious and cooked really like back home. I love the tawa roti and Dal. Their services are very professional, food is safely packed. I think they are reasonable too. Sukhmani Foods was much needed in this area (Norwalk, CT). The food is delicious, non-oily and very much homestyle. Perfect to be eaten everyday. The owners are very responsive to any questions and feedback on the food, which shows that they are willing to adjust to the customer's needs. They also provide tasty rotis, which is so much easier than having to make own rotis at home and tons better than the frozen rotis. The weekly delivery is very affordable and convenient. I highly recommend trying Sukhmani Foods and deciding for yourself. I have opted there service for quite some time now, and without a doubt I will say that they serve Authentic Indian food. There services are always on time, food stays fresh for a week, and I never had any problem with stored food.
