One of my friends referred Sukhmani end of 2018 and wish they referred Sukhmani long time back, since this is exactly the kind of food me and my wife crave for.. Each week , we get to choose from various North Indian vegetarian delicacies and really like the flexibility Sukhmani gives us .. The food is tasty and not like hot/spicy, which is just the kind of taste me and my wife love.. Eating Sukhmani’s food really feels like eating tasty home food.. We were given a complimentary rosagulla for our first order and it was as good as anything we have had in the past.. We would recommend Sukhmani for anyone who likes Healthy and tasty North Indian Vegetarian food..

Food quality is really good and light, not too much of masalas like ghar ka khana. It has minimal oil in it which is the best part. I will definitely recommend it.

I came here for a takeout order and couldn’t be more happier. Loved the food and the service. The owner was very welcoming and she made sure my order was on time. The Indo Chinese food is a must try and the complimentary Gulab jamuns were yummy. Finally a good Indian restaurant in Norwalk, can’t wait to go there next time!

I ordered a large 9 options tiffin and the site did allow me only select sabzi and not a combo of roti and sabzi. I have a rotimatic at home so prefer fresh chapati.

I have made a couple of one time delivery orders to Boston from the restaurant, and loved the food - one of the rare places in New England which actually gives food which feels like Ghar ka khaana , and also ended up converting to a weekly subscription! Just tried this place for the first time and I cannot recommend it enough. Best Indian food I have had in Norwalk and great prices. The women who helped me with my order was very accommodating and nice. This will be my new spot for Indian food. Check out the buffet during lunchtime if you want to try lots of different things.

We are a semi-regular subscribers to the weekly food delivery. Sukhmani Foods has been great. We love the paneer dishes, rajma and the occasional chicken dish on the weekly menu. Samosa and Aloo tikki are also highly recommended. The food is good north Indian home cooked food with just the right amount of masala and not unnecessarily over spiced. The overnight delivery is great and the ice packs keep the food from spoiling before it goes in the fridge.

Okay guys… So here you go! I don’t usually leave positive reviews until I’m extremely satisfied with the service. This is my first time ordering the tiffin food. I am a pretty busy but health conscious IT professional. I hardly find any time to cook myself healthy food. The food I got from Sukhmani is super healthy veg but tasty (not full of ghee or something). Besides it’s a LOT of food you get for like 80 bucks. Those 25 tawa roti breads were pretty large. 1 of them fill me in each meal. Shahi Paneer was really good quality; I must mention. So I work out daily and this food once daily seems to be working well with my diet plan (I get one heavy meal daily before my work out). But please note that this is pure veg. So for my daily protein needs, I take protein powder anyway. P.s. Rishi was awesome and went above and beyond while I ordered for the first time. I really appreciated the service. I ordered late last night, my delivery came less than a day later, and my roommate and I are thoroughly enjoying it! What a cool service! At first I was nervous because it was vegetarian food only, and most of my meals have a meat component. But that fear was unnecessary - meat is not at all needed here! The ingredients are flavorful and substantive enough on their own, and then some! The other fun part is that this has already proven itself a great way to try lots of different Indian dishes. Normally when I go to an Indian food restaurant, I default to ordering the same few items over-and-over again. This service is a way to better experience the whole variety of a wonderful cuisine, all at a very cost-effective price with convenient delivery. In short, very much recommend!

Really delicious food. I was very pleasantly surprised that all the sabjis had very little oil. The taste was very authentic. I will definitely buy here again. The only small thing is the shipping cost. I have bought from purple carrot and these other meal delivery services where the boxes are much bigger but shipping is really low. I've been ordering from Sukhmani Foods over the past 3 weeks and it's seriously made life so much easier for me and my husband. We both are grad students, and while I love to cook, lack of energy to shop, prep, cook and then clean multiple times a week while having an extremely hectic schedule outside of school and work was causing to order in or eat erratically for several months on end. Also, as a young couple away from our parents, we really needed a solution that would integrate our personal taste, health, and traditional foods into our daily diets without too much hassle. I live in NYC and thought of giving this service a try. Food was shipped from CT overnight and it was fresh when I received it. Packaging was good with two ice packs. Food tasted authentic. Neither too spicy nor too bland. I really liked the customer service. They followed up with me about the food. They really care about their service. I would definitely recommend this service to anyone in and around NYC who are looking for authentic Indian homemade food.
