Rated 5.0 This place is amazing! They have a lot of different kind of products from all over the world. It is very affordable compared to other similar stores. They have a small deli in the back that has also cheap food (cheap in price, but great in quality and quantity). I shop there for most of my groceries, and I make sure to go there at least 3-4 times a month. This place is very RARE in the US (the combination of variety in products + affordable prices as similar places usually take advantage of their customers and have very high prices). Strongly recommend this place!

Rated 4.0 Its difficult to find places with exotic food in this area and this place is a gem. The prices are a lot cheaper than commercial grocery stores and after 17 years of living in CT I can't believe I never tried this place. They have a great selection of spices, chutney, sauces, cheese and yogurt from India as well as some frozen foods. Can't wait to start experimenting.

Rated 5.0 Nothing but awesome things to say about this place. You could visit a dozen stores and not find as good a selection. Things that you previously had to order online, there's a decent chance they'll be here. Excellent deals on spices especially - your dollar will go much, much further here than it would at, say, Penzey's a few minutes away. The food they prepare in the back will supply you with a delicious Indian lunch for less than what you'd pay at an actual restaurant. An all-around gem of an establishment that completely deserves its following!

Rated 5.0 I was off from work a couple of weeks ago. One of my things on my staycation bucket list was to visit Cosmo International to sample on their highly esteemed lunch special. OMG...get the Samosa Chat. I was in line with a regular and she recommended that I get the Samosa Chat and boy, am I glad that I listened to her! The Samomsa Chat is a mashed up samosa topped with tomato, cilantro and yogurt. The dish was filling but not too heavy. With a mango lassi, it was fine to eat in 90+ degree temperature. And may I add, the lady who prepared my dish was very pleasant and caring about her customers.

Rated 5.0 I come here just to get a whiff of the aromatic spices. The place is always filled with groceries where I find something new each time I come in. Diciorus food is prepared in the back with some of the best curried chicken you can find around.

Rated 4.0 Cosmos is such a treasure. For a relatively small store, this international market boasts an incredible selection of spices, sauces, chutneys and other ingredients for Indian and Pakistani cooking. Prices are awesome. Spices are way cheaper than Penzey's Spices down the road.

Rated 5.0 This is like a hidden gem! Great place, very clean and well kept.. the people running this place are real nice too! Had the Kachori (YUM YUM), Chole and Bhindi were great too. Unhappy about them not having fresh roti, but well, the curries are real yummy - guess I can live with boxed roti.. sigh! The lady was generous with chutneys and pickle.. very happy about that! One of the most CLEAN and well kept Indian stores I have seen in a while.. They take AmEx (surprise, surprise!) and prices are VERY reasonable! I am definitely coming back some more!! :) Parking can be a bit tight and the neighborhood does not seem ideal for late nights!

Rated 4.0 The wide variety of International groceries this place carries is impressive! I shop there almost on a weekly basis, It has the small store atmosphere with a very helpful staff. I go there to buy mostly middle eastern/mediterranean food (olives, pickles, pita bread, tahini, leabena, cheeses, ect...) I haven't tried any of their prepared foods, except for the mango lassi, which was great! Price are also very reasonable and affordable.

Rated 5.0 Still amazing, and their lunch specials at the back counter are the BOMB. Especially the kebab-naan wrap - omg it's sooooo gooooood. They will heat things up for you. Also the gulab jamun is fantastic and they give it to you in a little bag.

Rated 4.0 Having lived nearly across the street for a number of years I have been shopping here a long time now. It must have a good selection because Indian co-workers who live in towns from far and wide drive over here to West Hartford every month to stock up. We always purchase their $5 lunches and always enjoy the food a lot. Their crystallized ginger, for example costs less than $3 a lb., if you buy in a grocer your are going to pay 6-8 dollars for a little jar. I have noticed that the nan that comes with the lunches has shrunk a bit as of late.

Rated 4.0 Love this place. Strange new foods from all over the globe. Terrific take-out. The whole place smells amazing. Lots of things to look at that you've never seen before. Very cool.

Rated 3.0 Decent Indian food in central CT (which is super-hard to come by) The curries are alright - seems that they might need a few more aromatic spices to give them a little lift. The samosa chat, masala dosa, and mango lassi were all stand out though. Definitely worth repeat visits - I'll remember to stick to the dosas and side dishes. FYI- incredibly cheap and I'll have to check out the dessert selection next time.
