I am a 3rd year I- Radha’s kathak student. It has been an enriching journey of learning this beautiful art form from Kiran Guruji. She spends lot of time in explaining steps, doing them with finesse, and appropriate expressions. As an adult kathak student with no previous experience, I am proud how far I- Radha has helped me come.

The school follows a curriculum, with a course book for each year. The classes are interactive and we progress at a good pace. Guru Kiran Chauhan is patient and has a wonderful attitude. I really appreciate the time Guruji spends in making sure that we understand the basics at each level. I look forward to class every week. Learning kathak with I-RADHA these past 2.5 years has been a wonderful experience !! Our guru Kiran Chauhan is a very dedicated and passionate teacher. The way she teaches Gives me a lot of mental satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment !! We follow the famous Lucknow Gharana and our classes focus on mastering theoretical as well as practical techniques of Kathak Dance. We also do special performances on stage. My daughter has been learning Kathak for 6 years and I am proud to see her performance all thanks to the hard work and dedication of her teacher. Guru Kiran Chauhan was very innovative even during the COVID-19 pandemic. I have been a kathak student at I-Radha for over 1 year now. Kiran di is a very passionate instructor. She pays attention to details in each student's movements. She teaches the basics and builds on it to ensure students understand the fundamentals of kathak and rhythm. Kiran di herself is a talented dancer who has been trained by the famous Kathak dancer Birju Mahraj. During classes, Kiran di teaches hand movements, facial expressions and body posture along with the footwork of Kathak. I would recommend I-Radha for anyone interested in learning kathak from a very talented and enthusiastic instructor.
