My daughters have been learning bharatanatyam from Malini aunty for the past 5 years. Aunty is amazing with kids and knows how to make the classes both fun and disciplined. They picked up the basics really quickly. Unlike other dance schools, Natyanjali school strictly follows the orthodox traditional parampara. Besides dancing, my girls also learn a lot about Indian culture in her classes. Most of the dance videos are uploaded to the website's learning module, which is really helpful for practicing at home. Despite her age, she is very active and hands-on during class. I also appreciate her attention to every detail, from makeup and music to photography and ethnic dressing. We had a fantastic experience during the annual performance. There are also performances during Dussera and at the temple for exposure. Even during the COVID year, she went the extra mile by conducting Zoom classes and additional rehearsal sessions before each performance.

Malini’s a great Bharatanatyam dancer . My twin girls learned Bharatanatyam from Malini for around 9 months and during this period , I have seen great progress in their interest towards dance and also seen great progress in their learnings . She is so friendly and connects to the kids so well that it provides a very warm environment for the kids to learn. Great teacher, regular schedule

Being a student of Ms. Malini is a privilege. I was very apprehensive when I tried out a class with Ms. Malini but when I finished the class I was even more inspired and motivated to take up Bharatanatyam lessons. I’m probably Ms. Malini’s oldest student and I absolutely love that fact! She’s a wonderful teacher and guide. More power to her ???.

I have known about Malini and her dance school for years. It is an incredible amazing institution run by Malini as one of the best schools whose performances produced as very eye catching and pleasant. The director Malini is not only high class with her students but very pleasing. Hope it would continue for a long time in the LA area

In the Swarajathi “Mamohalahiri” in raga Kamas, Malini presented in an untiring manner, despite its lengthy format, the complicated and intricate sollukattus, swaras and swara-sahityas. Malini displayed her talent in both Nritta and abhinaya. The selection of padams, “Arupadai veedu”, “Narayaneeyam” and “Nagendra Haraya”, brought out moving abhinaya from Malini. The performance concluded with a “Thillana” in Hamsanandi where Malini excelled in footwork.

Malini Krishnamurthi - A fine devotee of her art: Malini was confident, charming and dexterous in handling difficult passages. Skilled in steps and rhythms and expert in gestures and footwork, she was thoroughly professional on stage. Krishnamurthi demonstrated that she is not only very attractive but also a technically competent artist.

Spirited Performance. Being an experienced dancer and teacher, Malini’s performance was endowed with abundant creativity and sensitivity.
