Friends giving and a mehfil that will be truly remembered due the efforts of Vinay and Aparna from Mehete Sur. They had a unique way to become one of us (mind you we are middle school friends in our fifties) getting us all involved and even getting people with two left feet dance away. Attended a 75th birthday part for a doctor friend and Mehekte Sur was the entertainer. We were all on the floor for over 2 hours on their Live singing and did not even feel the need for a DJ. Vinay recently hosted my daughter’s 5th birthday party and we all had a blast. He is a really good dj and anchor. He took great care to get to know us and curated the event as per my preference and played my daughter’s favorite songs. My 5 yr old enjoyed a full 4 hr event and dint get tired all thanks to him. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor. This crew was incredible! We’d recommend them to absolutely anyone. They had the dance floor going all night and went above and beyond what we could have expected. This team was more than just a vendor for us; by the end of the weekend, they were like family and were a truly unforgettable part of our wedding. We hired them for our two day Indian wedding in Leesburg, VA, including DJ’ing, MC’ing, lighting, and a dholi for both days. We had three meetings with them before the wedding where we talked through our timeline, our specific music selections, and what genres of music we wanted for the dance floor. They were very thorough, and even though a few songs we discussed didn’t get played, they covered pretty much everything we asked for. The booking process was also very straightforward and flexible. They were really responsive and made suggestions based on their experience but were clearly not trying to upsell us when doing so. They also have a ton of experience with White’s Ferry Manor, the venue where we had our ceremony and reception. What really went above and beyond was the presence and energy this crew brought to our wedding, especially DJ Shiv! Shiv was on the phone with us at 2am the night before our wedding after our decorator cancelled on us. He and DJ Sameer helped us find another decorator in the middle of the night, just hours before decoration set up was supposed to begin. Plain and simple ShiVish Entertainment was amazing at our two-day wedding. Seriously, they knocked it out of the park... Day One – it was our religious ceremony so it was more of a Desi/Pakistani event and it was an absolute blast. DJ Vish lit up the dancefloor with his killer playlist and live mixing. He had us dancing to Bollywood and Punjabi music all night and mixed in some top-40 as well. He knew exactly what would get everyone, from kiddos to aunties and uncles going crazy on the dance floor. Day Two – a modern American wedding vibe with an Afghan flare. DJ Shiv came in just as good as his brother the previous day. He seamlessly started out the night playing some of my family's favorite Afghan songs and then switched gears to Top-40 hits, hip-hop, and house bangers. He rocked it. I need to give a huge shoutout to the heart and soul of the party – Rohit, the incredible emcee. This guy knows how to throw a party! His infectious energy, his ability to connect with the crowd – it was like having a close friend leading the festivities. Trust me, if you want your party to reach legendary status, you've got to have Rohit leading the charge. Bottom line is if you're dreaming of a wedding in which the DJ can come in and play to the vibe of your family and friends, then ShiVish Entertainment is who you want to go with. We mixed Bollywood, Afghan, Punjabi, Hip-Hop, House, and Top-40 and they made it sound amazing. With DJs who are basically musical geniuses and an emcee who's a party starter extraordinaire, they turned our wedding into a rollercoaster of love and laughter I promise you won't regret going with them. We were so impressed with the work of Vish at our wedding and reception. They truly helped make the reception a night to remember. We had ShiVish DJ our wedding and reception last month and were blown away with their mixes and energy. Shivish entertainment did our Sangeet event in Richmond, VA on Feb 14th , 2024. They did a great job and kept the guests dancing and entertained all evening. Shivish Entertainment provided DJ services, lighting and MC services for our wedding reception on Oct 13th at Milton Ridge. They hadn't (to my knowledge) worked for a wedding at this particularly comparatively small venue and despite some bumps in the road, they were able to master a great setup with high quality sound coverage throughout the room. They also did a great job of reading the room and playing music that they thought the guests on the dancefloor would like, combined with our own personal requests. I've been following them and supporting their business for over 5 years so my expectation was definitely that they would deliver a high quality experience at our wedding reception but they went above and beyond! They even added on extra uplighting to really give the room the right ambiance. MC Riju really drove the energy at the event with his roaring voice and killer dance moves. He carefully followed the highly-detailed script that I just provided on the night before, haha. They're the best of the best and I look forward to working with them again!

This company invited us to their office early on and met with us to make sure we were comfortable and they were so professional throughout the process. This duo recently DJ'd and hosted a surprise party I attended. I had so much fun. The music was fantastic. They joined in the fun. They were also super nice.

They were amazing. Kept the party moving when there was a slow part. Their choice of music was perfect. I didn't give a playlist because I wasn't very familiar with Punjabi music. But their selection was absolutely fantastic. They set me up with Bhangra dancers and a DHOL player. Coordinated with all of them for timing and music selection. It was absolutely fantastic. It was everything we wanted for the surprise birthday party.

Over this past Memorial Day weekend (May 26, 2024) I gave my mom a surprise birthday party for her 75th. Pre-planned everything a month ahead of time. For some reason I could not find the type of entertainment that I was looking for in the Southern California area. Mehekte Sur Jodi was more than just singing. They coordinated a very personalized theme and engaged the crowd. Babyshowers are usually games and all but this added a little variety to the event

Vinay recently hosted my daughter’s 5th birthday party and we all had a blast. He is a really good dj and anchor. He took great care to get to know us and curated the event as per my preference and played my daughter’s favorite songs. My 5 yr old enjoyed a full 4 hr event and dint get tired all thanks to him. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor. It’s tricky to handle a kids party and entertain kids and adults alike. Can’t recommend him enough

Shivish Entertainment provided DJ services, lighting and MC services for our wedding reception on Oct 13th at Milton Ridge. They hadn't (to my knowledge) worked for a wedding at this particularly comparatively small venue and despite some bumps in the road, they were able to master a great setup with high quality sound coverage throughout the room. They also did a great job of reading the room and playing music that they thought the guests on the dancefloor would like, combined with our own personal requests. I've been following them and supporting their business for over 5 years so my expectation was definitely that they would deliver a high quality experience at our wedding reception but they went above and beyond! They even added on extra uplighting to really give the room the right ambiance. MC Riju really drove the energy at the event with his roaring voice and killer dance moves. He carefully followed the highly-detailed script that I just provided on the night before, haha. They're the best of the best and I look forward to working with them again!

Plain and simple ShiVish Entertainment was amazing at our two-day wedding. Seriously, they knocked it out of the park... Day One – it was our religious ceremony so it was more of a Desi/Pakistani event and it was an absolute blast. DJ Vish lit up the dancefloor with his killer playlist and live mixing. They interacted with everyone, played some fun games and their singing was out of this world, great! Extremely professional and their attention to detail was great. They played all my dad’s favorite songs and everyone was so happy. 2 weeks later, I’m still getting calls from my family thanking me and singing their praises. We hired Aparna and Vinay for my hubby’s 40th B’day celebration. They truly made it a memorable event for us. Their selection of songs was perfect for the occasion and our age group. Mehekte Sur is amazing! They are full of energy and we loved them. Great planning, attention to detail, and crowd engagement. Vinay had the right mix of retro, Bhangra and latest hits during the DJ segment. He is also very comedic so having him at your next event will be entertaining. Aparna and Vinay, both singers of this group are fantastic. We had their musical program in last weekend. About 175 people attended it and everybody loved their singing. Their selection of songs was very nice too. Even though all our members are seniors, they became young and were dancing with full energy with the songs and the music. I will love to hear this kind of talent again and again.

Vinay & Aparna are two of the most beautiful people inside & out! They were so easy to communicate with and made everything so seamless and stress free for our Mehendi event! Vinay and Aparna are electric! They performed at my Uncle'e Sangeet in Edison and absolutely killed it. My family doesn't normally dance but Vinay managed to bring all of my Uncles and cousins out of their seats and onto the dance floor!!! Friends giving and a mehfil that will be truly remembered due the efforts of Vinay and Aparna from Mehete Sur. They had a unique way to become one of us (mind you we are middle school friends in our fifties) getting us all involved and even getting people with two left feet dance away. They both have great voices and more so the warmth and love they sing with. The range of songs from 1950 to 2022 they covered favourites and they truly became the jaan of our get together. Aparna and Vinay performed at our daughter's Roka ceremony. One of the unique things was, since our son-in-law to be is Malyalli, we requested a malyalli song, and the two did an outstanding job!
