Me and my now wife got married in bay area around first week of March. Me being a Mumbai mulga and my wife being Delhi kudi were concerned if the DJ we hire would feel our energy. Then we found Dj Simba through Sukekha. Both Dj Simba and his partner Sonie were very engaging and considerate to understand our venue, event flow, our expectations and us as individuals. We probably provided them the shortest window possible, but they were very quick/agile, yet very efficient in finalizing tracks to play. They also collected some of our pictures and made a beautiful small video they ran on loop on the screen they brought during the ceremony and reception. We also asked them to play their own tracks as they feel right depending on the audience mood, and they exceeded our expectations. From the price point, things they provided, time they invested, energy they pumped in the people, we got more than we could ever expect. I think if you’re looking for a DJ and you’re or South Asian Descent, than your search is over. I’ve attended many weddings and receptions and I’ve got to say they went above and beyond expectations. My wife actually found them before our wedding because she attended a different wedding and said they were real good. I’m always suspicious when she recommends something, but honestly we had an amazing experience. I think they really like to innovate and understand how to throw a party and keep the guests entertained.

I went to two events that Kiran DJ’d for and I had a blast at both of them. He knows exactly what the crowd needs and keeps the everytime levels high at all time. He played Bollywood, Tollywood and Punjabi music and also mixed in some electronic music which made the set even better. He has the flue that you don’t see in many DJs. I can’t wait to attend this more event.

Seriously amazing DJ and lighting services! I hired Sandeep and his team to take care of all of the lighting and DJ needs for my three wedding events. They were really thorough in getting me pricing and samples of everything from the beginning, especially the decorative lighting I wanted. They have a lot of experience providing lighting and sound arrangements in ballrooms, but I had an additional challenge in that one of my events was at the front yard of my house, and the layout of it is very unique. They came to my house for a consultation and we came up with a concept for how to transform the space for my holud (pre-wedding event). They came the day before to set everything up and make sure it looked right and that we were satisfied, and the final product was more incredible than I could have imagined. Any suggestions/changes we had were met with full cooperation, and I think they even added some lights on their own that weren't part of my package to make it look even better. I highly suggest their custom and stock gobo projections for any/all events. Their music selections are also perfect. They did a great job of gauging the audience and playing music that appealed to everyone when it was time to hit the dance floor (and throughout the night). Overall, great experience, and I would highly HIGHLY recommend you hire Fusion Sounds for your next event. They are professionals, and they really know what they're doing. :)

Had a last minute henna and wedding event and was recommended DJ Sandeep from my rental event coordinator. They were able to send out a dj both days and send off a contract same day. Sandeep and his team were very efficient and professional. I was able to make last minute changes for my entrance songs on the schedule by texting the dj 30 mins before. We hired Sandeep and his crew to do the lighting and DJ work for our wedding on November 28, 2015 at the Marriott in Marina del Rey. It was great working with them. Sandeep, the owner, and I arranged for a meeting about a month before the wedding to go over exactly what my fiancee and I had in mind. We showed him pictures of the type of lighting we wanted and we agreed to send him a list of songs that we wanted for the various introductions, the first dance, the cocktail hour, dancing and the last dance. They were great about reviewing the song selection and adding their own suggestions. On the day of the event, they were ready on time and the room looked incredible! They provided a portable DJ for the baraat, which worked out perfectly. The lighting and the music for the wedding reception and cocktail hour were also nothing short of spectacular. The only thing I wish had been different was if they had a copy of the songs on paper the day of the event. I had made some changes earlier in the week regarding the introductions and they weren't able to make the song adjustments accordingly. It wasn't a huge deal but when you spend months planning a wedding, you want it to be perfect. A couple of the introductions ended up being to the same song, and that song wasn't even meant to be played when those particular people entered the room. All in all it wasn't a big deal and most people didn't even notice. But I noticed. And it's the only thing keeping me from giving them a 5 star rating. In any event, thank you to Aftab, Pratik and the other guys in the crew. They were extremely pleasant to work with and we were very satisfied with their service. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great DJ who does awesome lighting also.

Sandeep did music and lighting for my Sangeet, Wedding & Reception in July. I could not be happier with this vendor! He is very professional to work with. For a busy bride planning a big fat week-long indian wedding, he really helps to take the stress away by providing us with all the event/program details where a specific song is important so we don't forget anything. He was also able to edit my entrance song for me and it was perfect!! We met multiple times and he and his team were perfectly coordinated. Out of all the vendors we worked with, Sandeep (and my cake) were the best.

Everything looked amazing. And, he was on our side - he would tell me that no, you don't need that many lights to accomplish what you're going for or yes, we should do this, but swap out this other gobo instead and you'll be fine. He kept us on point, while pulling off an incredible effect with smoke, blue lights, club lights, gobo, pattern designs - you name it, he had it, and he did it really, really well. I'd recommend him over and over again, which I have, and I wish there was a better way to show my appreciation for his work and energy beyond a yelp review.

Magic Mike recently Deejayed my 40th birthday party and he made the party rock...All my friends are still talking about how great the party was as we danced into the wee hours! Mike is a seasoned DJ with all the latest as well as old music and seems to know what the crowd likes, he has actually been at most of my family's events for over 20 years now. He certainly knows how to set up any party room for the most effective display of lighting and sound. The hallmark of a great DJ is the gauging of the party crowd and mood - he certainly excels in that field. He can liven up the room in a matter of minutes. The most comforting factor with Mike is that he is genuinely a part of your event, unlike other DJs I have seen who are there just to perform their services and be done as quickly as possible. Mike actually works with you to make your event successful.

Don't think twice about booking Magic Mike! He made our reception a wonderful, happy, fun event for everyone to remember! We have absolutely no complaints, and only tons of compliments about the awesome ambience he created with the rest of his team for our special night - and I think my husband and I danced pretty much constantly (along with a packed dance floor) for almost two hours straight, because each tune was better than the rest :) And we had a multicultural wedding (I'm indian, and grew up in the Caribbean, my husband is German), and Mike made an effort to represent all of our different types of music so everyone had something to relate to. Magic Mike (from NJ) was professional with his demeanor but I expected more quality for someone so experienced and who came recommended by our vendor, the Rockleigh Country Club. On the day of the wedding, he asked me to switch the placement of the first dance and did not seem too happy about us not agreeing with him. Songs for certain events were skipped, misplayed, and at one point three different songs played for the wrong part of the reception. He also asked me for more details about a song that was to play during a solo dance right before my reception on the day of the wedding!! Which btw, he started to play, then cut, and restarted. My poor cousin still held it together and just restarted the whole dance. He had what looked like a 13 yr. old manning the dj station while he was mcing. AND the monogram I created and gave him was all SKEWED on the dance floor- ugh - that looks so bad in pictures! He did some cool things during the party like throw streamers and he has a good voice, and played our dance list fairly close to what we wanted. But, he never played our last song.

He was on time and very professional. Music and mixing of music was awsome. Great light show. Dance floor was packed!!;Did not stick with our Do not play list songs.

I wish i could give Mike 6 stars! He DJ'd our wedding and welcome party the night before the wedding and people were coming up to me afterwards to say that he basically made our wedding. He has an incredible music selection and a great sense of what the crowd wants to hear. He had people on the floor dancing for hours both nights. He also was a deft emcee and host. My parents are divorced and i wanted to do my father-daughter dance for the first half with my dad and second half with my stepdad -- but my dad was balking at sharing the limelight. DJ Magic Mike planned the transition perfectly so it went super smoothly and my dad was totally happy with it. We had an Indian wedding so we had a mix of American and Indian music but he could easily do one or the other. Anyway Mike was awesome and i strongly recommend. He travels, too -- our wedding was in Long Island.

Magic Mike was our DJ at our wedding in August and I could not recommend him more. We had an Indian ceremony but as my husband and many of our friends are not Indian, I was nervous about getting everyone dancing for the Baraat. Mike made sure that everyone was dancing and pumped up throughout the entire Baraat and continued that energy through the reception. Our guests are still commenting on how amazing the Baraat was and how it was the best music selection they've heard at a reception. More so, he was a pleasure to work with during the planning process. I highly recommended him for any wedding or event!

We met with a lot of DJs, including a lot of prima donnas. Even though we met with Magic Mike and liked his confident laid back style, on a friend's recommendation we initially decided to go with a younger and 'hipper' DJ. Pretty soon it was obvious to us that the so called 'hip' DJ was all about himself and not about our wedding. We decided to ask Mike if he was still available to DJ our wedding and he was! Mike was a great listener, gave us great ideas and very flexible. He showed up the day of the wedding on time and fully prepared. Mike kept the entire program on schedule and did not need any direction. We were totally hands off and he delivered just as you would want a great DJ to. The music was great and everyone was on the dance floor. We were really happy with our choice.

We had a cross cultural Swedish-Indian wedding and Mike delivered way beyond our expectations! All our guests from all over the world loved the DJ show and how Mike got the dance floor pumping. Everything from planning to execution was great! The only place I will give a 4 is for responsiveness but I guess I probably have higher than average demands due to my job.

We hired DJ Magic Mike for our barat, wedding and reception at Westmount Country Club on May 2013. My fiancé had prior experience with him as his brother had also hired him for his wedding and reception a few years back. Based on their positive experience, we decided to meet with him to discuss our event. One thing that separates DJ Magic Mike from all other DJ's (and we met with MANY DJ's) is his low pressure personality. He listens to your needs and never pushes more expensive or unnecessary packages onto you which ALMOST ALL other DJ's will do. He is very easy to get along with and very flexible which is so crucial especially as the big day approaches. We had an idea of exactly how we wanted our event to flow but Mike had also made some excellent suggestions in our planning to make the event flow even smoother. However, no matter how friendly and easy going a DJ is, it doesn't mean a thing if the music is not up to par. And this is where DJ Magic Mike really excelled. We had given him a sample of certain songs we wished to have played and he did an excellent job mixing in our songs with songs our guests really enjoyed. We were dancing all night long and our guests raved about the music. Thank you DJ Magic Mike for a wonderful experience. I can honestly say this was the easiest decision of all my wedding vendors.

Magic Mike is the man. While we thought DJ'ing an Indian-Puerto Rican would have been difficult, he nailed it right on the mark. He met with myself and my wife on several occasions to go over the style of music and lighting we were looking for, showing numerous pictures and videos of his events as examples. He's a very patient and kind hearted down to earth guy who really took his time and effort well above what we expected. He knew exactly what to play and how to mix the various styles of PR and Indian music with some 90s rock and pop and current hits. A sort of mixologist for DJ'ing, this is the guy you want if you want people dancing from the very start of your event. The lighting and visuals he provides are high quality and up to date, all of which he set up perfectly. Since it was primarily an Indian wedding, there has a horse on which I rode in on. Magic Mike provided that as a service and let me tell you, that horse was no joke and as beautiful a horse as I could've asked for to ride to my soon to be wife. He also provided 3 belly dancers all of which were very professional and got people dancing very early into the reception. Later that year, we went to another wedding and was pleasantly surprised to find out that he was DJ'ing. It was just as amazing being a guest at a wedding he was playing at as it was being the bride and groom at ours. He even made a surprise appearance at the after party in the hotel! People still talk about how good the music was at our wedding. He's definitely played a major role in making our event a memorable one. The man clearly has a passion for what he does and it 100% shows in the quality of service he provides from start to finish.
