The baby shower games were so creative—photo trivia, green light red light, baby charades—each one was a total crowd-pleaser and nothing like the usual stuff. Attended a 75th birthday part for a doctor friend and Mehekte Sur was the entertainer. We were all on the floor for over 2 hours on their Live singing and did not even feel the need for a DJ. Vinay recently hosted my daughter’s 5th birthday party and we all had a blast. He is a really good dj and anchor. He took great care to get to know us and curated the event as per my preference and played my daughter’s favorite songs. My 5 yr old enjoyed a full 4 hr event and dint get tired all thanks to him. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor. This duo recently DJ'd and hosted a surprise party I attended. I had so much fun. The music was fantastic. They joined in the fun. They were also super nice.

They were amazing. Kept the party moving when there was a slow part. Their choice of music was perfect. I didn't give a playlist because I wasn't very familiar with Punjabi music. But their selection was absolutely fantastic. They set me up with Bhangra dancers and a DHOL player. Coordinated with all of them for timing and music selection. It was absolutely fantastic. Great selection of songs, great energy throughout the party and Vinay was really interacting with everyone in the party and making sure everyone is involved in the party. I was the photographer for an event where vinay was managing. There were 3-4 games where literally everyone from the guests played and kudos to vinay for including in them.

Had them for my parents surprise 25th anniversary as DJ/MC and live singing and they were amazing. The crowd was engaged for the entire duration of the party ranging from teens to grandparents. Vinay was super responsive and pleasant to work with. Aparna and him made the party fun for everyone! They also sang part of first dance for my parents which was really cute. Last fall (Oct 2023) for my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary, we wanted a unique live musician, and Dilshaan Music & Entertainment made the event truly memorable! From their live dhol during a recreation of my father’s baraat to lovely vocals of old Bollywood film songs and ghazals, accompanied by tabla, during dinner time, we were treated to something special. My parents were pleasantly surprised by the familiar selection of songs, which Dilshaan had customized as per our request list (even incorporating our native Sindhi folk culture). After dinner, though we were a relatively small group of 60, the singing and dhol up close at the dance floor was amazing…even got a few people to dance who hardly ever do! A week before the event, we discussed in detail the event flow and finalized AV needs, so that traveling in from Raleigh NC to our gathering in Roanoke VA, the setup worked well. Vinay recently hosted my daughter’s 5th birthday party and we all had a blast. He is a really good dj and anchor. He took great care to get to know us and curated the event as per my preference and played my daughter’s favorite songs. My 5 yr old enjoyed a full 4 hr event and dint get tired all thanks to him. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor. Friends giving and a mehfil that will be truly remembered due the efforts of Vinay and Aparna from Mehete Sur. They had a unique way to become one of us (mind you we are middle school friends in our fifties) getting us all involved and even getting people with two left feet dance away. Vinay and Aparna organized the entertainment, including DJ, singing/Karaoke,and some games at am event yesterday. The execution was flawless even inspite of rain threatening to require a change to indoors when everything was set up outside. Had so much fun after a very long time.

I recently attended an event where Mehekte Sur performed. Vinay has great sense of music, his anchoring is phenomenal and Aparna’s voice will take you back to the Bollywood retro era. I highly recommend this duo for your celebrations.

I watched and thoroughly enjoyed the African Special Virtual Concert that Mehekte Sur did. Loved how the session was entertaining and at the sametime informative too. Aparna's rendition of the Swahili Song was outstanding!

Mehekte sur jodi is superb! They organized a dance party that we were invited to and we had an amazing time. Aparna and Vinay have great energy and can read the crowd. They kept us entertained with games, karaoke and their own melodies in between. Vinay's song selection kept us on the dance floor until it was time to leave. Will highly recommend them if you are looking for a fun time with friends or family !!

Saw them last night at Samudra in NJ. Have been hearing them on and off for a while but this was the first time that we heard them in close quarters. Their singing and confidence is par excellence. They sang a variety of numbers of different genres and singers with equal proficiency. Would strongly recommend for any kind of party. All the best to you Aparna and Vinay - you both rocked!
