We reached out to Matt (Desi Beatz Entertainment) after seeing him perform at a couple of family parties. Matt was responsive to our initial request for quote. He walked us through the process and provided a fair cost for his services. He came out promptly to perform a site survey. On the day of the event Matt was on time and had all his setup ready to go before the guests arrived. Lights, Sound, Music and the Photo Booth were all a hit! Whatever I say is not enough for how accomadating and proffessional Kabir is. From the first call, he was super friendly, responsive and willing to help make the event the way we want it. I think we had a pretty complex evening with need for live streaming, some pre recorded speeches and need for projector, but he made it seem all natural and simple. He was in touch with me and my brother regarding multitude of itenary changes during the evening and really just went with the flow. As for the music and lights, amazing. High quality speakers, greating lighting, awesome fog machine and great beats thru the whole night, he was also playing all special request songs all evening. Wow, wow, wow, and one more time for the people in the back: WOW!!! DJ Kabir was everything and more we could have hoped for (and I was a wedding DJ for a spell so the expectations were high). We had a DIY reception-only affair (courthouse wedding last year), so we were looking for the music to not just be a mood setter, but capture bits of ourselves and our families. We wanted a little bit of all the good stuff, so much so it was almost hard to nail down a playlist. What would work, what won’t? Whats too niche or too new or to old gahhh!! This is where Kabir came in. His kind and warm demeanor really made us feel we were in good hands. He was available for any questions and was even kind enough to do a site visit beforehand. And then the day came. Firstly, what a set up! The lighting, the ambience! Secondly, what care! Kabir indulged us with a garba set that was supposed to be 15 miniutes and went 30. And then, MC Ishpreet! What an addition to the party. As Kabir tore up the floor, Ish’s dhol just amped up to the max. And what else to say? We danced and danced and danced. Every song was a banger, every beat felt like the apex. He was wonderful to work with and personalized the playlist to include some of our favorites. He also attended the venue walkthroughs with us to help us plan the layout and also help us think through elements unrelated to audio. We danced for 3 straight hours and so did our guests ?across ages 3 to 80. Ankur, the dholi, brought in amazing energy and was a unique element to our reception. The lighting was great. ?The ?photo ?booth was very well done. The props were fun and there was something for everyone. We got the photos very soon after the event, and they are a great addition to the photos from our photographer.? Having Kabir and Ankur made all the difference to our celebrations. BEST DJ EVER for my Pakistani - Italian fusion wedding!! DJ Kabir is so friendly, cool and easy to work with. He made mixes for us from bollywood and western songs (not easy) for our dances and seamlessly played and blended a variety of songs at our wedding. There was not a dull moment on the dance floor. Last fall (Oct 2023) for my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary, we wanted a unique live musician, and Dilshaan Music & Entertainment made the event truly memorable! From their live dhol during a recreation of my father’s baraat to lovely vocals of old Bollywood film songs and ghazals, accompanied by tabla, during dinner time, we were treated to something special. My parents were pleasantly surprised by the familiar selection of songs, which Dilshaan had customized as per our request list (even incorporating our native Sindhi folk culture). After dinner, though we were a relatively small group of 60, the singing and dhol up close at the dance floor was amazing…even got a few people to dance who hardly ever do! A week before the event, we discussed in detail the event flow and finalized AV needs, so that traveling in from Raleigh NC to our gathering in Roanoke VA, the setup worked well. Over this past Memorial Day weekend (May 26, 2024) I gave my mom a surprise birthday party for her 75th. Pre-planned everything a month ahead of time. For some reason I could not find the type of entertainment that I was looking for in the Southern California area. Last fall (Oct 2023) for my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary, we wanted a unique live musician, and Dilshaan Music & Entertainment made the event truly memorable! From their live dhol during a recreation of my father’s baraat to lovely vocals of old Bollywood film songs and ghazals, accompanied by tabla, during dinner time, we were treated to something special. My parents were pleasantly surprised by the familiar selection of songs, which Dilshaan had customized as per our request list (even incorporating our native Sindhi folk culture). After dinner, though we were a relatively small group of 60, the singing and dhol up close at the dance floor was amazing…even got a few people to dance who hardly ever do! A week before the event, we discussed in detail the event flow and finalized AV needs, so that traveling in from Raleigh NC to our gathering in Roanoke VA, the setup worked well. I would highly recommend Dilshaan as a talented professional for special occasions.

Vinay recently hosted my daughter’s 5th birthday party and we all had a blast. He is a really good dj and anchor. He took great care to get to know us and curated the event as per my preference and played my daughter’s favorite songs. My 5 yr old enjoyed a full 4 hr event and dint get tired all thanks to him. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor. It’s tricky to handle a kids party and entertain kids and adults alike. Can’t recommend him enough

Aparna and Vinay, both singers of this group are fantastic. We had their musical program in last weekend. About 175 people attended it and everybody loved their singing. Their selection of songs was very nice too. Even though all our members are seniors, they became young and were dancing with full energy with the songs and the music. I will love to hear this kind of talent again and again.

Mehekte Sur is amazing! They are full of energy and we loved them. Great planning, attention to detail, and crowd engagement. Vinay had the right mix of retro, Bhangra and latest hits during the DJ segment. He is also very comedic so having him at your next event will be entertaining. We recently hired Desi Beatz services and DJ Kabir was simply awesome! This was for a birthday party and he made is memorable for us. Kabir is easy to work with and helped us with every step resulting in a fantastic high energy party. His equipment is state of the art, the DJ booth setup was really cool, lighting was brilliant and he worked with us for the music and complied a fun bollywood list mixed with english numbers. Oh and he has this cool looking Jeep that he uses for mobile DJ events. We will call him again for sure.

Whatever I say is not enough for how accomadating and proffessional Kabir is. From the first call, he was super friendly, responsive and willing to help make the event the way we want it. I think we had a pretty complex evening with need for live streaming, some pre recorded speeches and need for projector, but he made it seem all natural and simple. He was in touch with me and my brother regarding multitude of itenary changes during the evening and really just went with the flow. As for the music and lights, amazing.
