Friends giving and a mehfil that will be truly remembered due the efforts of Vinay and Aparna from Mehete Sur. They had a unique way to become one of us (mind you we are middle school friends in our fifties) getting us all involved and even getting people with two left feet dance away. Attended a 75th birthday part for a doctor friend and Mehekte Sur was the entertainer. We were all on the floor for over 2 hours on their Live singing and did not even feel the need for a DJ. The best thing was that they were on the flooor dancing with us. I have never seen anything like this before.

Vinay recently hosted my daughter’s 5th birthday party and we all had a blast. He is a really good dj and anchor. He took great care to get to know us and curated the event as per my preference and played my daughter’s favorite songs. My 5 yr old enjoyed a full 4 hr event and dint get tired all thanks to him. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor. We had invited the group “Mehekte Sur” for my in-laws 50th marriage anniversary celebrations. Husband wife duo were fantastic singers. They sang old Hindi Bollywood songs, as well as Marathi, Gujrati and Bengali. Truly versatile singers who could sing old and new songs both. Last fall (Oct 2023) for my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary, we wanted a unique live musician, and Dilshaan Music & Entertainment made the event truly memorable! From their live dhol during a recreation of my father’s baraat to lovely vocals of old Bollywood film songs and ghazals, accompanied by tabla, during dinner time, we were treated to something special. My parents were pleasantly surprised by the familiar selection of songs, which Dilshaan had customized as per our request list (even incorporating our native Sindhi folk culture). Vinay and Aparna are amazing singers. They made our friends’ 15th anniversary truly special with their surreal performances. We were all blown away with their soul touching voices and choice of songs. Listening to Kishore Kumar classics in Vinay’s voice took everyone to the golden age of Bollywood. Aparna brought back memories of Lata Di and Madan Mohan with Abhi Na Jao. I loved how they also incorporated children’s music. They are a complete package. Highly recommended!

Great selection of songs, great energy throughout the party and Vinay was really interacting with everyone in the party and making sure everyone is involved in the party. I was the photographer for an event where vinay was managing. There were 3-4 games where literally everyone from the guests played and kudos to vinay for including in them.

Dilshaan and crew performed at a NYE dawat of mine and everyone was beyond impressed! From arriving early, they quickly set up on the living room floor and played 1.5+ hr set of well known ghazals, some modern songs and crowd requests. They even let 2 of the guests sing with them! Last fall (Oct 2023) for my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary, we wanted a unique live musician, and Dilshaan Music & Entertainment made the event truly memorable! From their live dhol during a recreation of my father’s baraat to lovely vocals of old Bollywood film songs and ghazals, accompanied by tabla, during dinner time, we were treated to something special. My parents were pleasantly surprised by the familiar selection of songs, which Dilshaan had customized as per our request list (even incorporating our native Sindhi folk culture). After dinner, though we were a relatively small group of 60, the singing and dhol up close at the dance floor was amazing…even got a few people to dance who hardly ever do! A week before the event, we discussed in detail the event flow and finalized AV needs, so that traveling in from Raleigh NC to our gathering in Roanoke VA, the setup worked well. I would highly recommend Dilshaan as a talented professional for special occasions.

Vinay recently hosted my daughter’s 5th birthday party and we all had a blast. He is a really good dj and anchor. He took great care to get to know us and curated the event as per my preference and played my daughter’s favorite songs. My 5 yr old enjoyed a full 4 hr event and dint get tired all thanks to him. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor. It’s tricky to handle a kids party and entertain kids and adults alike. Can’t recommend him enough

Friends giving and a mehfil that will be truly remembered due the efforts of Vinay and Aparna from Mehete Sur. Krishna and Nazi did my mom’s 75th birthday event just yesterday and everybody who attended were just blown away by both of their voices. Their song selection was immaculate and they quickly pivoted to hit after hit based on reading the crowd and their reactions. They sang Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, and even English Pop songs. All of our guests danced, and some of them even sang along with Krishna And Nazi. They both had a great personality and interacted very artfully with the crowd. Great entertainment in Chicago. Could not stop dancing Excellent selection of songs!!! Loved it

Attended a friend’s birthday party organized by this dynamic husband and wife duo. Full on entertainment!! They kept the party live with music and games. Even nondancers like me could not stop themselves

This duo was hosting a party I attended and they were great entertainers making sure all of us danced and enjoyed the evening to the fullest!

We hired Aparna and Vinay for my hubby’s 40th B’day celebration. They truly made it a memorable event for us. Their selection of songs was perfect for the occasion and our age group. Vinay’s Emcee skills are too good- he engaged all our guests and kept all of us entertained. We would highly recommend Mehekte Sur for any of your celebrations!

Mehekte Sur is amazing! They are full of energy and we loved them. Great planning, attention to detail, and crowd engagement. Vinay had the right mix of retro, Bhangra and latest hits during the DJ segment. He is also very comedic so having him at your next event will be entertaining. The is duo is very talented and have a wonderful voice. They are also super easy to work with so 10/10 would recommend! What a way to ring in the New Year and celebrate my Dad’s 50th.

Aparna and Vinay, both singers of this group are fantastic. We had their musical program in last weekend. About 175 people attended it and everybody loved their singing. Their selection of songs was very nice too. Even though all our members are seniors, they became young and were dancing with full energy with the songs and the music. I will love to hear this kind of talent again and again.

Vinay & Aparna are two of the most beautiful people inside & out! They were so easy to communicate with and made everything so seamless and stress free for our Mehendi event! Friends giving and a mehfil that will be truly remembered due the efforts of Vinay and Aparna from Mehete Sur. They had a unique way to become one of us (mind you we are middle school friends in our fifties) getting us all involved and even getting people with two left feet dance away. They both have great voices and more so the warmth and love they sing with. The range of songs from 1950 to 2022 they covered favourites and they truly became the jaan of our get together. Aparna and Vinay performed at our daughter's Roka ceremony. One of the unique things was, since our son-in-law to be is Malyalli, we requested a malyalli song, and the two did an outstanding job! Krishna and Nazi: Many thanks for making the event for my wife's birthday so memorable. They called me few days ahead and took inputs about the event, checked on any special requests, asked about the family members and others who need to be mentioned. They arrived early and made themselves available throughout the event. They made themselves at home and mixed up so very well with the guests. All these gave a personal touch to the entire event. The twists of diffeent languages and the poetry - so very well recited by Nazi made the event even more personable. Both have an amazing talent for singing - but very importantly, its the passion to make the events successful that takes the cake.

Golden Jubilee Ent.with Krishna and Nazi did my Thanksgiving dinner event. . Omg— They made it the best Thanksgiving dinner ever! Their singing ability is fantastic! I appreciated how they instantly connected with my family. I loved the commentary between songs —they did comedic jokes — and the explanation of the essence of each song was spot on. They are professional, prepared, organized, talented , but above all they are amazing human beings . I highly recommend them to do any event . I will be using them In the future . This is one amazing Jodi! We connected so well in the initial conversation regarding my event, that I just had to find a way to make it work for them to sing in Chicago for my friends and family. We are big music enthusiasts so having them at our event really energized everyone in the room, from my 2 year old to my father in law and his senior friends. Also, we have the same Indian background so they planned some extremely special touches - from singing Konkani and Marathi bhajans to bless my daughter, to dancing alongside my mom while singing some grandma-grandkid songs, and chatting it up with my father-in-law and friends in Marathi. I watched and thoroughly enjoyed the African Special Virtual Concert that Mehekte Sur did. Loved how the session was entertaining and at the sametime informative too. Aparna's rendition of the Swahili Song was outstanding!

Saw them last night at Samudra in NJ. Have been hearing them on and off for a while but this was the first time that we heard them in close quarters. Their singing and confidence is par excellence. I live in UAE and have heard about mehekte sur south africa special show..I did joined out of curiosity and was glued to the screen till the end..indeed loved the information and the entertainment..vinay and his lovely partner were simply amazing ..vinay has been a true entertainer throughout..simply loved watching the show..locking forward for a middle east special show from both ..

They have such a broad range in their voices that they can sing songs from several decades. My favorites are the songs from 60s and 70s.

Aparna and Vinay were great at our virtual holiday party. We had a great time listening to their beautiful voices along with little stories about the background of the songs and their composers. I hired Mehekte Sur for my engagement party as my parents are big fans of the Golden Era songs and wanted a segment for the same at my engagement party for their friends.
