It was a good experience dealing with Deccan Car rentals. Salman was very professional and friendly. He explained me all the terms and conditions in nice and simple manner. Shared the before video with me which was good for reference at the time of return. I had to extend the rental by 5 days and it was pretty smooth. While returning the process was pretty simple and if there was a damage or extra charge it was explained nicely with before and after pictures. Overall the experience was good and I would recommend deccan car rentals especially for renting self drive car. However in Hyderabad's traffic be prepared for a scratch or two even if you drive pretty carefully.

Really good service! The owner is really nice and helpful. We test drove a couple of cars and then chose the one we finally rented. Loved the car (Honda Accord Hybrid) we rented. We rented for a week and the mileage on the car was just chef's kiss! We didn't drive too far (around 400 miles) but the car drove with no problem at all. It only cost $175 for 7 days plus gas - so this place is really cheap. Best place to rent car in Houston! I would recommend this place and would definitely come rent from here again in the future.

OK, first of all let me just say I’ve been making Indo/Pak food for over 19 years. I’ve eaten Indian food all across this globe, and I’ve had biryani just about everywhere. (Japanese version of Indian food is the absolute worst, not Japanese curry, but their spin on Indian food). I am somewhat of a food snob to say the least. This restaurant’s Karachi Biryani was absolutely to die for!!! I got the mutton. I don’t know how on earth anyone would think otherwise. I am visiting from San Antonio, and am going back here before heading home to get the family size order. They also make this special secret brownish sauce that is intended for their Hyderabad biryani, it is crazy awesome. Come hungry, because the amount of food you get is massive!!! One order could easily feed three people. I also ordered garlic naan bread, and the chicken tikka masala to go. The cost for all was around $37. What I have learned as a professional reviewer is that ya really can’t trust reviews, ironic but true. Other reviews show a bug in the food, and how it was greasy, etc. I am not sure if these are erroneous reviews by the local competition, but I can assure you that my experience was the complete opposite. Some commented that the employees were racist or bigots. I am a white guy, and we are the most hated in the US currently. The employees that helped me were very sweet and kind to me. Not sure if it was a Indo vs Paki thing (I am aware of the feud), but they were more than excellent per my experience. I will be back for sure 100%!!!! Even if I found a bug or hair in my order, I wouldn’t care. Yeah, it’s that good!!! Also the India Bazaar next door is awesome. Not one, but two of their employees went out of their way to help the dumb white guy??.

Haleem was awesome. Looking at social media videos and hype we went in to have special mutton haleem. Presentation was awesome and tastes good as well. Only drawback is they didn’t pour ghee as tradition. Apart from that haleem was good. Place had no one except us when we went in but soon had other people coming in for orders and take outs. Great hole in the wall kinda restaurant. Will definitely visit this place in Irving next time just for haleem. Hope they pour a little ghee ?? on top next time as they charge a good amount for it.

Usually when you make biryani, you can see all the mint, cilantro, fried onions, biryani leaves chillin’ on your plate like Hi, we’re the flavor. But here, nothing like that. It's clean, it's magic, it’s flavor packed. No herbs doing photo shoots on your plate, just pure flavor ??. Another thing, they don't scam you with meat pieces like other places. The mutton-to-rice ratio here is WILD ??. Yesterday, me and my bro went again, hungry like we hadn't eaten for three lifetimes ????. We ordered the family pack mutton biryani (classic move) and it arrived fresh, hot, and smelling like heaven . Tons of tender meat, tons of masala. We went a bit late (4 PM ish) so the biryani was swimming in that extra masala goodness, exactly how I dream of it at night . Now, yeah, a few tiny cons ??. They give you these super tiny styrofoam plates ?? like those sad little breakfast plates. We begged for a bigger plate so many times... they gave it once... one time... like it was a once-in-a-lifetime thing ??. So this time we just big-brained it and carried our own steel lunch plates from home like pros. Raita? Meh. More like malai-cream vibes , not real curd. Chicken 65? Ok-ok, needed a bit more salt but pretty decent when reheated at home the next day ??. Their mutton haleem during Ramadan? ABSOLUTE MADNESS ??. Full of chicken 65 chunks, cashews raining everywhere, a boiled egg chilling inside . If you catch it in season, you’re lucky. Also tried their Sitaphal Malai yesterday... bro, that thing slapped ??. I went to pick up my order today, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming! There were a few people in line, including a couple still deciding what to order. When the clerk called my name for pickup, he kindly helped me first since my food was already ready. The couple seemed upset, so I told them they could go ahead, but they decided to leave instead. I honestly felt sorry they missed out because the food here is absolutely delicious! The aroma, taste, and customer service were all amazing. Their mutton biryani is fragrant and packed with tender meat – easily some of the best I’ve had outside of Hyderabad. The naan is fresh and fluffy, the mint chutney and raita are spot-on, and portions are very generous. Service is quick and friendly even when they’re packed on weekends. The place is always clean and has a nice family-friendly vibe. Sithaphal Malai Taste Another Level. If you love authentic Hyderabadi/Deccani food, this is a must-visit. Great and Clean place constantly mopping the floor and keeping the tables clean and etc. The Hyderabadi Biryani was excellent. The girls working at the front counter and serving food demonstrate great hospitality skills especially the Fatima. If you love Hyd Goat Biryani I would highly recommend this place

The flavors were well-balanced, and the meat was tender and aromatic. A must-try for biryani lovers. Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani ????? – It was average. Not particularly outstanding, but not disappointing either. Could use a bit more richness in flavor. Mutton Haleem ????? – A complete letdown. It tasted stale, as if it had been prepared days ago and simply reheated. The top layer was hard and dried out, making it far from enjoyable. Definitely not worth the price.

Oh man, this place definitely lives up to the hype and I'm so glad I decided to try it out. I'll admit, as a white dude, I have no idea what authentic tastes like but man this Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani was the most delicious Chicken Biryani I've ever had and I imagine this is what real authentic tastes like. Oh and the portion was HUGE. I can eat a lot but there was no way I was finishing all that. I ate all the chicken and put a dent in the rice but there's enough rice to feed at least 3 people. I ate as much as I could and still brought home a take-home box full of rice. I finished my meal off with a mango lassi which was just the perfect cherry on top. I can't wait to come back! It's probably a good thing for myself that I don't live closer to Irving or I'd end up going broke from eating here every day. Just FYI If you can't handle spicy well, be careful. I have a high tolerance for spice and I didn't find the food too spicy (in fact, it was honestly the perfect amount of spice), but I know some people would think it was too spicy. For me it was just the right amount to give you a little bit of sniffles every now and then and a slight tingle on your lips. Anyways, I'm making myself hungry again just talking about it even though I just left. Guess I'll go dig into those leftovers! I rate it an easy 1000/10

I went to pick up my order today, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming! There were a few people in line, including a couple still deciding what to order. When the clerk called my name for pickup, he kindly helped me first since my food was already ready. The couple seemed upset, so I told them they could go ahead, but they decided to leave instead. I honestly felt sorry they missed out because the food here is absolutely delicious! The aroma, taste, and customer service were all amazing. We did a take out and the food was really tasty and fresh we ordered the family pack Mutton biryani and the Haleem both reminded us of the proper Authentic Hyderabadi flavor , The Manager Mr. Moiz was extremely nice and friendly . We did see few bad reviews posted recently and were surprised to see it was nothing like what was mentioned ,On the day of our pick up we did see some people acting like freeloaders trying to get free food by complaining about the quality of biryani and trying to harass the staff over there and even threatening to post bad reviews online and we were skeptical to try by watching them but when we got home and tried it was actually really good. I hope people stop doing such scam practices and be honest and genuine. Overall great experience Deccan we will be back soon.

Food is hands down one of the best Pakistani/Hyderabadi food in the area! Price is fair, in the $10 range Ambiance has improved SIGNIFICANTLY. It’s clean and you can have a nice meal. Service is self serve, so don’t expect anything special. One important note to the owners/management team. I have been a Deccan grill customer for years now and my only complaint is please fix your phone lines! It’s so difficult to reach you. I wouldn’t want something like this affecting your business.

Tried Goat Mandi recently. I have never eaten a delicious mandi in USA ever. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I would give 10/10. We ordered half goat mandi and was able to serve around 20 ppl. Great quality food with amazing service. Best in the business I would say for what they offer.

The chicken biryani was the best we have had in the area, very flavorful without being greasy or overpowering. The chicken 65 was juicy and delicious. The chicken tikka masala was out of this world, a must order! Overall I would definitely order from Deccan Grill again, and I would highly recommend trying them out!

There is only one place in whole DFW area that will serve you the most authentic Hyderadabi dum biryani. Very nice environment, courteous staff and at prime location in Irving. Consistent taste of biryani what makes me go to this place again and again. Tried mutton mandi as well....very delicious. Bit mild, but the base taste is very nicely maintained. Being a spicy food lover I would have like it to be little spicy, however each bite of meat and each grain of rice carries the true taste of mandi spices.
I love this place so much it's my most favorite Indian food ever I love it. They know I am a regular customer and they always make my food with love and they are not greedy. The prices are firm and affordable!

Full mandi priced at $24.99 and said to serve for two. The mandi rice is too oily, in sufficient rice for two, rubber like chicken breast. There is no option to order extra mandi just in case. A very average ambiance and below average service.

I recently dined at Deccan Grill in Dallas, and I must say, their biryani is unparalleled. Having explored biryani in various places, Deccan Grill stands out. The variety, especially the Friday-exclusive beef biryani, is a must-try. Moiz at the welcome desk added to the experience, recommending delightful options beyond biryani. A flavorful journey worth revisiting.
The food was very flavorful and came out in a reasonably short amount of time. The only item which I found was lacking was the quality of the dishes and flatware the food was served with an the overall condition of the restaurant. Only half of it was able for seating and the other half was just filled with clutter and stuff.

By the far, the most authentic hyderabadi biryani I've had in the US. Amazing flavor, surprisingly non-spicy (Native Americans can enjoy this without sweating it out) and very good quantity for the price. The meat is always very well cooked and tasty and the rice to meat ratio is perfect in the mutton biryani. The mutton marag is a little bland, although the meat in the marag is as tender as it should be and the naans that come with the marag are very fresh and I think they are made in house unlike other places which just heat up frozen Stonefire bread. I will keep returning and hope they won't change their quality or quantity like other places usually do after some time. The absolute best Hyderabadi biryani in DFW.
The best Biryani I had in 10 years after moving to usa. We are from Phoenix, visiting Dallas. Absolutely loved the food. It reminded me of biryani, I ate grow up in old city Hyderabad. Very authentic dum biryani. The owner and staff is also very nice and welcoming.

Mutton dum biryani as always superb and delicious, Chicken Berra tried for the first time and that was excellent too, Chicken Majestic & mixed vegetable & dessert was Lab e’ shiree it was like cherry on the cake very delicious and must to order in every party. We had Haleem, Hyderabad Chicken and biryani, paneer butter masala and chicken curry with Nan. Haleem was great. Biryani were good. But the curries were drowning in oil and food color. Nan were crispy but garlic Nan was good. Can do better with ambience

While the paneer biryani was not as impressive, I must say something about the chicken biryani and Tikka—they were absolutely amazing! The first bite transported me straight to Hyderabad; it was that good. I've never experienced such authentic biryani in the USA since I moved here. I'm thoroughly satisfied with the service.Mohammed the manager, was incredibly friendly and even offered us free dessert, which was delicious. Visited Deccan Grill in Irving and ordered the Goat Haleem Special, which comes with Chicken 65. The taste of the haleem was absolutely delicious – rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. However, the Chicken 65 was a bit of a letdown as it was overcooked and over colored with Red, Overall, the experience was good, but I hope they improve the Chicken 65 in the future. The ambiance and service were commendable, making it a worthwhile visit.

Brought my in-laws who were visiting us from out of town. Biryani was awesome and authentic Hyderabadi and not what you get at other place which have more spice but not authentic flavor. Chicken 65 had less salt and less corn layer. When I asked the person who served us, she just said manager is not available but the person who was at the counter replaced the dish with chicken tikka immediately and was very polite. Highly recommended the place for authenticity and catering orders.

OK, first of all let me just say I’ve been making Indo/Pak food for over 19 years. I’ve eaten Indian food all across this globe, and I’ve had biryani just about everywhere. (Japanese version of Indian food is the absolute worst, not Japanese curry, but their spin on Indian food). I am somewhat of a food snob to say the least. This restaurant’s Karachi Biryani was absolutely to die for!!! I got the mutton. I don’t know how on earth anyone would think otherwise. I am visiting from San Antonio, and am going back here before heading home to get the family size order. They also make this special secret brownish sauce that is intended for their Hyderabad biryani, it is crazy awesome. Come hungry, because the amount of food you get is massive!!! One order could easily feed three people. I also ordered garlic naan bread, and the chicken tikka masala to go. The cost for all was around $37. What I have learned as a professional reviewer is that ya really can’t trust reviews, ironic but true. Other reviews show a bug in the food, and how it was greasy, etc. I am not sure if these are erroneous reviews by the local competition, but I can assure you that my experience was the complete opposite. Some commented that the employees were racist or bigots. I am a white guy, and we are the most hated in the US currently. The employees that helped me were very sweet and kind to me. Not sure if it was a Indo vs Paki thing (I am aware of the feud), but they were more than excellent per my experience. I will be back for sure 100%!!!! Even if I found a bug or hair in my order, I wouldn’t care. Yeah, it’s that good!!! Also the India Bazaar next door is awesome. Not one, but two of their employees went out of their way to help the dumb white guy??.

We went their on a sunday afternoon, it was a bit crowded. They have two menus for today’s specials one on the big display and a hand written near the billing section. We odered haleem, chicken 65 and a mixed mandi. Haleem was fantastic and close to authentic recipe. Chicken 65 was good n crispy Mixed mandi was ok, we felt the chicken n mutton pieces were too big n the rice was oily at the end. They also had a dessert section inside the restaurant g Faloodas and chikoo shake were good enough

This place is hands down the best spot to try Hyderabadi Biryani in Irving! I’ve tried biryanis at other restaurants nearby, but nothing comes close to the authentic flavor here. The starters platter was absolutely amazing, and both the mutton and chicken biryanis taste just like the ones you’d get in Hyderabad.

The flavors were well-balanced, and the meat was tender and aromatic. A must-try for biryani lovers. Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani ????? – It was average. Not particularly outstanding, but not disappointing either. Could use a bit more richness in flavor. Mutton Haleem ????? – A complete letdown. It tasted stale, as if it had been prepared days ago and simply reheated. The top layer was hard and dried out, making it far from enjoyable. Definitely not worth the price.

Haleem was awesome. Looking at social media videos and hype we went in to have special mutton haleem. Presentation was awesome and tastes good as well. Only drawback is they didn’t pour ghee as tradition. Apart from that haleem was good. Place had no one except us when we went in but soon had other people coming in for orders and take outs. Great hole in the wall kinda restaurant. Will definitely visit this place in Irving next time just for haleem. Hope they pour a little ghee ?? on top next time as they charge a good amount for it.

At home, they always told me mutton would be super chewy and I'd sit there chewing like a goat for hours ????. But the first time I tried the mutton biryani here... game over. The meat was softer and juicier than chicken. I literally sat there stunned like ??. It was crazy good. The flavors hit you right, and I still can't figure out what kind of sorcery they use . Usually when you make biryani, you can see all the mint, cilantro, fried onions, biryani leaves chillin’ on your plate like Hi, we’re the flavor. But here, nothing like that. It's clean, it's magic, it’s flavor packed. No herbs doing photo shoots on your plate, just pure flavor ??. Another thing, they don't scam you with meat pieces like other places. The mutton-to-rice ratio here is WILD ??. Yesterday, me and my bro went again, hungry like we hadn't eaten for three lifetimes ????. We ordered the family pack mutton biryani (classic move) and it arrived fresh, hot, and smelling like heaven . Tons of tender meat, tons of masala. Tried Deccan Grill recently and was impressed with their authentic Hyderabadi biryani — flavorful, aromatic, and definitely one of the better ones I've had in the area. If you're a biryani lover, it's worth a visit just for that. I also tried their buffet. While the taste was good, I felt it was a bit on the pricier side considering the limited variety offered. That said, the quality of the food overall was solid, and the place maintained a good level of cleanliness and service. Would definitely come back for the biryani!

Great Pakistani restaurant with Amazing Dum Biryanis. They are definitely famous for their Delicious mouth watering Biryani’s. You must have their Chicken, Beef and Mutton Dum Biryanis. Definitely try their Sheesh Kababs and meat Curries. Also don’t forget to have Irani tea. Awesome dessert too. We defeated recommend this restaurant for great Asian cuisine.

The rice was flavorful, and the chicken was soft and tender — the taste reminded me of the biryani I had at Shadab in Hyderabad, which says a lot about its authenticity. However, the ambience could definitely use some work. The place had broken floors and overall didn’t feel very inviting. With such great food, improving the interior would really enhance the overall dining experience. Great food, but I hope they upgrade the space to match the quality of their dishes!

The last time I paid that kind of price for Biriyani was in Santa Clara, CA. The food was good but I don’t think middle class working family can eat here on weekly basis. 2025 Review- 3 years back I gave this place 2 star, but looks this place has completely charged for good. Haydrabadi Biriyani was the best. It’s best to eat in the restaurant than to take out. The quality and quality both met my expectations. Best to eat after they open for lunch or when dinner start.

The place has a huge dining space and is completely self-serve, you pick up your own plates, spoons, water, etc. We ordered: • Hyderabadi Mutton Biryani – $18.99 • Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani – $14.99 • Chicken 65 – $12.99 The mutton biryani was good with well-cooked, tender pieces. The chicken biryani, however, was very light and lacked flavor, almost no masala at all. The Chicken 65 was okay, but the excess food coloring was a turn-off. The rental car didn't have registration sticker & toll tag. This employee made my insurance went up 400 time. I was paying around of 101 $ / monthly after adding this leased car my insurance went up to $ 377. 00/monthly. Also my bank went negative. What's a inconsiderate employee. I shouldn't change from 1 star to 4 stars because i support the owner small business. By their demands to add full coverage with their car to your existing policy adding & raising extra 1200$/year or $100/monthly to the rental costs. They have very limited of cars. The ridiculous things are: 1. Before they start paperwork they asked you to add their car first into your policy. Otherwise they don't start process. 2. Their old cars didn't worth much. However, they want to benefit by asking coverage 50,000/100000 with 500 deductibles for both collision and comprehensive. 3. Pay one month upfront ahead inadvance including 250 deposit.4. Mostly as I have seen is young men who need their business. 5. If you don't have everything ready the waiting time can be longer than expected. They rarely pick up or return phone calls. Mostly their answers all cars are already leased. Their reviews are doubtfully authentic real. They texted me a list of old cars on Friday. Few in the list was sitting in the front of their store. I came in on Monday to ask them. The man said NONE is available. What's a joke. I have asked for car lease from them almost half of this year but no avail. I ended up to lease from others trusted company.

We rented for a week and the mileage on the car was just chef's kiss! We didn't drive too far (around 400 miles) but the car drove with no problem at all. It only cost $175 for 7 days plus gas - so this place is really cheap. Best place to rent car in Houston! I would recommend this place and would definitely come rent from here again in the future.
