Los Angeles Tamil School is dedicated to teaching and preserving the beautiful Tamil language, one of the world’s oldest and richest classical languages, for children and families in the Greater Los Angeles area. Our mission is to connect the Tamil community with its heritage while fostering pride in our language, literature, and culture. We offer a well-structured curriculum that introduces students to reading, writing, and speaking Tamil in an engaging and age-appropriate manner. Beyond language learning, our programs include lessons on Tamil history, classical literature like Thirukkural, and cultural traditions through music, dance, and festivals. By blending education with fun activities, we ensure students not only learn Tamil but also develop a deeper appreciation for their roots. Los Angeles Tamil School also serves as a vibrant cultural hub, hosting community events, celebrations like Pongal and Tamil New Year, and talent showcases for students.
