We all got involved and played different games. One of my daughters-in-law is Gujarati and the other is Punjabi, she and Vihina Bai also enjoyed it a lot.

Hello, I am Mrs. Mayuri Swapnil Karandikar, residing in Kalwa (East). On the occasion of the birth of Shri Mangalagauri, Meet Kalakar had organized Mangalagauri games at my residence. The friends of 'Shravansari Group', suggested by Priya Madam of Meet Kalakar, came to my residence and gave a well-planned presentation with great enthusiasm. In fact, despite playing games at other places throughout the day, we played games at our house at night without getting tired with the same energy. Even though the space at our residence was small, Yamini Madam, Smita Madam and the entire group of Shravansari took care of us and performed all the games with great enthusiasm without showing any deficiency. They also enjoyed the games by involving our relatives in the games. In fact, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude and Hat's Off !!! I would like to specially praise Mrs. Smita Shitole Madam for the hard work that 'Shravansari Group' is putting in to go beyond profit and loss and only to cultivate our culture and tradition. Age is just a number... But their enthusiasm is even more amazing than that of a young girl!! Pooja's sweet voice and Vishal's beautiful tabla accompaniment enhanced the program. Once again, a heartfelt thank you to Shravanasari Group and Meet Kalakar for providing such an enthusiastic group!

Group arrived very late, which caused a lot of rush. And then they had to speed through the performance. Performance was fine - but lots of hindi-filmy songs - would be good if they could have stuck to more traditional and event specific songs.

For the Mangalagaur program, we had invited Om Kalaniketan, a group of people, for fugdi, jhimma etc. through meet kalakar. They played very well and brought a lot of colour to the program. We enjoyed the program a lot.

We live in California and were looking for virtual khel prog for our daughter's mangalagaur. I found meet kalakar through google and they were extremely professional, super good in every aspect from start to finish. once we decided to go with them, they were extremely good about keeping us informed about the process and we were confident that the work will be done well & on time. We had an amazing beautiful, entertaining program from Srujan sakhya for 35 mins custom made especially for us which we played on Zoom. Program was Super good, informative, graceful & everybody here of all the ages learned something new about the traditional mangalalgaur khel and thoroughly enjoyed it. Booked Santoor Artist Manali Mam via Meet Kalakaar for a lite music night for my family. She was very open to song suggestions and went out of her way in giving a memorable Santoor instrumental as well as vocal performance for us. Her mom did a great job at compering for the event and made sure there was no dull moment in-between the performance. Meetkalakar connected me to a fabulous teacher, Kiran ji, from whom i was interested to learn from as he had translated and composed some Indian Classical Music in English for a wider audience. He was thorough in explaining the Ragas step by step from Alankars, wadi, samwadi, to Stahi, Antara, and teaching many old Krishna Bhajans. He could relate with my interest Yoga, and made me follow the breath with attention, thus the songs expressed the spirit coming from inner silence; the themes ranged from returned, unrequited forms of spiritual love in soaring tempos. His explanation of tge universality of Dadra, Rupak Taal helped me connect to Western Classical (Opera) & Jazz styles of Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole. He made sure that the sessions were recorded, and guided me to procure books from: Sanskar Prakashan, Mumbai, which helped me become self-reliant. It has been an amazing journey for me, even after he retired, of self-improvement to keep exploring and refining myself listening to my own recordings in a self-guided manner. Thanks

I am 50 years old and always had liking towards music . Due to some reason or other I could never pay any attention and there by ignored even the basic understanding of music . Off late I decided to learn Hindustani Vocal . However due to many un avoidable reasons could not know how to start about it . In the mean while I came across the web site of meetkalakar . When contacted , after few interaction with Meetkalakar I could get to know Mr. Harshad Dongre an excellent young and talented person who could teach me the basics of Hindustani Vocals . I am getting lessons on classical vocal Sangeet through e-learning by meetkalarar artist Shri Prashant Kalundrekar. Earlier before joining, I did not have any idea about e- learning of classical sangeet. But after joining and completing 5 classes, I felt it is very very helpful, interesting and effective. May be because of the technique adopted by artist Shri Prashant Sir is unique and excellent. I am enjoining his teaching technique and growing interest in classical sangeet day by day. Though I started very very late in my life, still I am gradually feeling growing interest within me and trying to enter into the deep of this subject.

My name is Veena Nair, I joined Soor Academy in 1995, and then moved to Dubai, from where I pursued my learnings with Pallavi Mehta whose tireless effort of teaching even when I was far away in Dubai, it seemed not so far away. I was always fascinated by the beautiful instrument that Sitar is, I started taking classes in the eleventh standard but that was for a short while as the pressure of my class XII board exams took over. Subsequently I graduated from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore in 2010 and started working at a law firm in Bombay. My fascination for the seven stringed beauty resurfaced and I found an excellent guru in Pallavi didi to guide me in learning the Sitar. My days at Soor Academy have been joyful and merry. I took some lessons of Sitar in Mumbai, with Pallavi Mehta, but as I live in Paris, 7000 km from there, I also wanted to practice when I was back home.
