Dr. Kansal joined Ophthalmology Associates in 2015. He was born in Pennsylvania and after spending his youth in Pennsylvania and Delaware, his family moved to California. He completed his undergraduate studies in Human Biology at University of California, San Diego (2006) with Honors. He then journeyed back to Philadelphia to complete Medical School at Temple University School of Medicine (2011).He completed his Internship at Mercy Catholic Hospital in Darby, PA (2012). He then completed his Ophthalmology Residency at Temple University Hospital (2015).As a general ophthalmologist, Dr. Kansal sees patients for routine eye exams, glasses and contacts, diabetic screenings, glaucoma evaluation, cataract screening, and dry eye treatment. In addition to this, he does cataract surgery including Toric and Multifocal Lenses,pterygium excision, and eyelid surgery.

Rated 5.0 Felt very good about my experience with cataract surgery with Dr. Kansal. Mine was a little complicated because of previous corneal transplant, but Dr. Kansal figured everything out. He's also a very nice guy. Everything went as explained to me, no surprise charges, very smooth process. Felt confident everything would turn out good.
