It gave me a chance to review my specs one more time and I told him that it’s one of the compromises I wanted to make, after running by all the pros with him. When it was time for the meat: the finances, he helped us engage with a mortgage consultant who arranged all the preapproval docs in a jiffy but with great accuracy! Srini then helped us through the whole process of evaluating the numbers, making the right quote, presenting to the seller plus going back and forth with the right terms on the actual day of the offer. He continued his help till the last day of the process even with a now-seemingly-trivial-but-then-very-important task of getting the home thoroughly cleaned before we entered it. And it didn’t end there! We weren’t so sure about selling our older home right away. He gave us time and perspective about the gamut of options we had for selling the home. I would give her a 5 star rating on all the following aspects: 1) Knowledge - Manu is extremely knowledgeable of the real estate market trends. She gave us very practical guidance on what to look out in a house when buying: how to read home evaluation reports quickly and find red flags, expected expenditure on fixing a house, how good are the schools, what amenities are available for kids in an area etc. Most importantly, she was pretty spot on in her guidance around how much to bid for a house. 2) Responsiveness - Manu responded to all our queries promptly. She always showed up on time on for any phone calls we set up with her. 3) Communication - Manu was very transparent in all her communications with us. Nothing was left ambiguous or not closed. 4) Post buying experience - Manu got us in contact with some very good contractors to do the fixes in our house. Recently we got his help to buy our home in Willow Glen and then to sell our old home in Evergreen in a few more weeks.
