I have known Priest Natarajan (Brahmasri Nataraja Srowthigal) for over 3 years and he is our guruji here in NJ for all religious events and ceremonies, from Avaniavittam to Rudrabhishekam and Graha Shanti.
Natarajan mama is extremely proficient in all vedic hymns, chants, rituals and pujas., He comes from an illustrious and long vedic tradition of over 40 years, in both India and US. He is well acquainted with both North and South Indian customs and can easily transcend regional boundaries (Tamil/Telugu/Kannada etc) owing to his linguistic capabilities.
We had requested his services recently for Ekadasha Rudha Yagnam, which is an extremely powerful set of vedic mantras invoking Lord Shiva. The entire event, was conducted with utmost pious dedication and devotion, thanks to Natarajan Mama. He had clearly advised us what all pooja items were needed and what he will be bringing. I really appreciated the clarity of communication and upfront estimate of the time that will be taken for the event. We had also invited several guests to participate in this homam and they were all mesmerized by the power of the mantras and the fluency with which Guruji chanted them. We also had arranged for sanskrit/tamil/english version of the texts so that all interested people could follow it as he chanted. It was a memorable event, especially since my parents were visiting from India.
I would definitely recommend Priest Natarajan for any event in your house or community anywhere in NJ.

My husband and I were beyond lucky to have him officiate our Hindu wedding which was a mix of Punjabi and Gujarati traditions.He is incredibly knowledgeable about numerous traditions and cultures and kept our audience engaged the entire time. We had multiple guests tell us that they actually paid attention to the entire ceremony because of his ease of explaining the Hindu steps and his kind words. He was easy to joke around with during our actual ceremony and made us and the audience laugh numerous times.
On a personal note, he was also extremely flexible with incorporating specific wedding rituals and appeased both our families. We had him do quite a few ceremonies for us and he was always on time! He was very easy to work with from day one. I had forgotten my marriage certificate and he drove to my house to sign it for us within a day or two of our ceremony. Parag officiated and performed our wedding in Michigan, and did an amazing job.
