Favorite Indian place in Huntington, I take everyone who visits here!

The food was quite good. Fresh and flavorful, authentic and savory. The vegetable samosas were particularly delicious!! We do prefer a seasoned rice with our Indian food. Would prefer that it was an option (with a slight increase in price) rather than a separate dish for a more significant increase in price. (Can’t imagine that it costs $6 more to flavor the rice)

Had Sweet Chili Chicken appetizer which was so good. For dinner had Lamb Korma which comes with a side of rice. It was really delicious. Bread it put on the table and I couldn't stop eating it. It comes with a cup of tamarindo which was so tasty. I will definitely be returning!

Disappointed. Nothing we ordered was particularly flavorful or fresh. The Chana Masala tasted like the chickpeas came from a can or were pre-prepared. The saag paneer had almost no cheese cubes in it. And the flavor of all dishes were just muted, not particularly tasty. Especially if you know and love Indian food. The only good items we had were the naan bread. All of the food we ordered was just okay. I’ve eaten in many Indian restaurants in New York, and I was not impressed with this one and would look elsewhere.

We found this place accidentally and had an incredibly flavorful vegetarian meal here that was out of this world! We live a distance away but it’s our new favorite, and we’ll be back very soon!! Yummy!! It’s a small, casual place with limited seating, but is cozy and clean!

My husband and I had the most delicious dinner here tonight! We had amazing chicken tandoori, Chana masala, garlic nan, papadum, raita, onion chutney, mango lassi and the devine cardamom tea! Everything we got was so delicious . Butter chicken, chicken korma, samosas, and mango lassis all delicious. They also gave us a side or tamarind and these really yummy peppers, cannot wait to go back.

I am always on the hunt for paneer makhni wherever I go; it’s my favorite Indian dish. Besides my Mom’s, and two other contenders, I typically leave underwhelmed. Bombay Grill didn’t have my dish on their menu, but they still made it for me!! What?! And their paneer is homemade, in-house. You literally cannot beat that. It’s a cozy vibe in here — family style. Indian music videos definitely kept me entertained. I will most certainly be back when I’m in Long Island next.

One word: WOW! After moving back to Huntington from Brooklyn I struggled to find a local Indian food spot. This will officially be our go to. Absolutely delicious, flavorful & perfect spice. Ordered takeout & it was warm & huge portion sizes! Can’t wait to stop in!

It's been awhile since I've had a flavourful authentic Indian dinner. Tonight was definitely the night, we had the malai chicken, garlic Naan and sambosa. Dip the malai chicken with a piece of Naan in their green chutney and taste the firework of flavors. Can't wait to go back and try their other items

Have been wishing for a good Indian restaurant in Huntington, having come from an area that had a few excellent options - and having been disappointed since moving here, surprised there wasn't better Indian food with all the restaurants in the village. So, we were happy to see a new Indian place open. A small storefront, and for a first try we did order and pickup. If you want some fresh, authentic flavorful and yummy Indian food, then definitely check this place out! We had the chicken tikka masala, the curry chicken, the lentils, and the samosas. All were excellent. YAY! We will be back! Only thing is the online menu seems a bit messed up, missing photos and a little confusing... I wonder if their in-house menu has more options as it seemed a bit limited online. That said, we are just thrilled to have good quality indian food locally now, even if the menu is small! I hope you do well so that we can continue to enjoy your food :)

Just picked up dinner from Bombay Grill and it is excellent. All white meat tender chicken, sauces seasoned exceptionally well. Generous serving size and plenty of naan. Will be ordering again for sure.

Small, unassuming restaurant open for about 6 months (previously an Afghanistan restaurant we also loved) serving the best Indian food we've ever had. Just took first place away from a restaurant we've loved in our town for years. Chicken Malai Tikka is the tastiest I've ever had, with tender, moist chicken. The onion chutney that comes with the vegetable samosa is off the charts wonderful. Tandoori chicken is flavorful and well seasoned. I imagine any dish on the menu will please the most discriminating palate.

Having lived in the city all our lives and spoiled by the likes of Astoria and Jackson Heights, Queens, as well as all the Indian food I've had at my old job near Edison, NJ, my wife and I were pleasantly shocked with the warm and fuzzies from not only amazingly delicious Indian food, but the cozy, warm atmosphere of what felt like an intimate living room setting. Our waiter (perhaps the owner?) was very welcoming, and what really shocked us was how much extra food we were just given, without asking for anything. The menu prices are market prices that reflect rising food costs everywhere, but it immediately became clear to us of the owner's generosity. We were given five samosas instead of three, and were given garlic naan without ordering it. When I asked to order a mango lassi to go, it was just given to us, even after I insisted on paying for it. These free things aside, all I can say is that we now happily have a go-to Indian comfort place to lean on to satisfy our cravings. Don't let the four or five tables fool you for a minute. This one-year-old restaurant is modest yet graceful in appearance, yet has a kitchen powerhouse that knocks the much larger House of India completely off the map, as well as the over-the-top fancy Crown of India near Port Jefferson. The chicken tikka masala, bainghan barta and saag paneer were not heavy at all, and the spices were not watered down at all! When I asked for medium spicy, I got medium spicy and not mild--another huge plus for me! The garlic naan was amazing, and the small kheer (rice pudding) that was on the house topped everything off perfectly. Get their mango lassi - you will not regret it!! We wait with anticipation for more dishes to be added to the menu over time! :)

Without a doubt, it's the best Indian food I've ever had. Bombay Grill is a must-visit for anyone craving an authentic and incredibly delicious Indian dining experience! Our server was phenomenal too; kind and attentive. We can’t wait to go back. ADD: I returned to Bombay Grill twice with friends and family, since I wrote this review. Excellent both times!

It may still be awhile before Huntington has satisfactory Tex-Mex or Cajun or Southern comfort food, but at least we have this terrific South Asian restaurant. I had the lamb curry and my partner the Butter Chicken and both dishes were fantastic. The lamb was, well, like butter; it was possibly the best braised lamb I’ve ever had in any cuisine. I hope the chef tries his/her hand at other lamb dishes—Korma or Passanda. The atmosphere is low key and just right for the area; the service friendly and helpful. We will be coming back to Bombay Grill, and ordering plenty of take-out.

We decided to call these places delivery restaurants. The food is ordinary Indian food and the service and atmosphere are so-so. It's difficult to expect good service from a busy restaurant making delivery food. Don't be fooled by Google ratings.

I’ve been scouring the Huntington area for a delicious, healthy, “home-cooked feeling” type of Indian restaurant and Bombay Grill is it! You can ask for modifications and they’ll do it: spice level, more or less of an ingredient. And more vegetarian options are coming, soon! I ordered delivery, this time, but I’ll be visiting the restaurant ASAP!

One of my favorite Chicken Tikka Masalas I've ever had. Very flavorful with just the right amount of spice. Chicken tasted fresh and of good quality. Butter and garlic shrimp was also very tasty. Garlic naan and samosas very crispy and delicious as well. Will definitely eat and order from here again.

We had delicious and fabulous dinner at this restaurant. Mohamed, the owner, treated us very well and the food was delicious we had lamb korma and we had chicken tikka masala which was fabulous. We get a Tikka Masala dish with Garlic Naan (Incredible) and always try a new dish :) you can't go wrong when everything on the menu is fantastic. We were there a couple days ago and I already can't wait for the next time!!

Mohammed is very pleasant and the food is great. I stopped in and picked up the Shrimp Tikka Masala and Chicken Dum Biryani. The shrimp tikka masala was nice and creamy full of taste. Goes good with the butter naan. The chicken dum was also tasty. Ill be back again INSHALLAH!!!!

I have eaten at a lot of Indian restaurants, but Bombay Grill is my new favorite. The vegetable samosas are flavorful, light and crispy. The chicken tikki masala is tender and delicious. The portion is quite generous. My husband and son had the lamb curry and lamb korma. They were very satisfied with their entrees. All the sauces were beautifully spiced and ideal for soaking up with some of the tasty naan. The quality of the ingredients, particularly the meats, is definitely a notch above most restaurants. The lamb is grass fed and the chicken is halal. Service is friendly and accommodating. The proprietor is a delightful person. If you want to eat in the restaurant, it can be a good idea to call ahead because there are not that many tables. Bombay Grill does a brisk takeout business as well. I enthusiastically recommend this restaurant and hope to return soon.

Called to make a reservation this past Saturday and spoke to Muhammed who was extremely accommodating. Drove from Oakdale and arrived at 6:30, table was ready and we were quickly seated. The place is very small but we were comfortable and not rushed at all. Now for the food..... Chicken Korma and Chicken Mango were delicious as was the Eggplant Bharta. Spice levels were perfect and portions generous. Naan was great as well. Thank you Muhammed for the dessert and we can't wait to return.

The food was absolutely delicious! This place boasts a comfy and close atmosphere. I had the chicken korma with a side of garlic naan, which was perfectly flavored. The mango lassi was a great addition to finish the meal. The staff were extremely hospitable and made our night out very enjoyable. I would definitely dine here again and recommend it to others.

What a wonderful meal I just had with my friend at Bombay Grill of Huntington! The mango lassi, vegetable samosas, lamb korma, lamb vindaloo, garlic naan and sesame (!) naan were all mouthwatering delicious. The service and hospitality from Mohamed was outstanding as well. I’m writing this review and I’m still at the restaurant just couldn’t wait to review this place. Everything we had was super delicious. I’ve been to so many Indian restaurants but by far this is the best I had. The butter chicken was creamy and delicious and my husband had the mango chicken very good. We shared the veggie Samosa which was also great.

Small but cozy place with only a handful of small table. We ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Malai Tikka (a replacement for the sold-out Chicken Kebab), and Garlic Naan. The Malai Tikka stood out – the grilled chicken was tender and moist, with a light acidity that balanced the flavors well. The Garlic Naan arrived later than other dishes but was worth the wait. Crisp yet soft with just the right amount of garlic, it’s easily among the best naan I’ve had at any Indian restaurant. The Chicken Tikka Masala had rich, satisfying flavors in its creamy sauce, though I would prefer it spicier. It came served with both rice and naan. A solid spot that I’d recommend – I’ll be back to try more dishes!

My husband and I love the food here as well as the personal attention from Mohammed. We have visited several times and found the food to be consistently good. Seating is limited so we usually go midweek and have been able to get a table. I would definitely recommend for a casual night out. We noticed that their take-out business seems to be bustling!

First timers visit to the Bombay Grill of Huntington Village practically across the street from movie theater with plenty of public parking across from the Post Office. Upon entering this casual dining spot we were greeted and seated by the host Mohammed and given menus and we instantly asked him for a few recommendations which started to get our tastebuds excited! The entrees we ordered were perfectly sized for sharing 2 peeps so you can enjoy the Indian food culinary experience. Our entrees began with “Chicken Curry” which was so tender and moist with a perfect creamy curry-tomato sauce and spices. Next enjoyed “Mixed Vegetables” also with spices, onions, tomato sauce cooked in coconut milk. With all that delicious sauces we needed to order the fresh “Tandoor Baked” garlic bread and also some Long Grain basmati rice to soak up the leftover sauces and clean our plates, yummy! Our happy ending was the Mango Lassi yogurt drink as a refreshing dessert. Everything was delicious and compliments to the Chef and thank you Mohammed. We Shall Return, Steve & Sandy

Called to order takeaway one hour in advance, went there and been told need to wait for 10 more minutes. The worst is the food was soooo salty that we have to drink lots of water while eating it. Very surprised with the salt level as we have tried Indian food all around the world before…..

Bombay grill is a golden gem in the heart of Huntington. The food is made fresh to order with the finest ingredients. I had the Dal Tadka and the chef said he uses organic lentils. My husband had the shrimp vindaloo and it was spicy as he asked for spicy, and he was sweating! The owner gave us free items and it was a wonderful atmosphere. We will be back for sure!

Outstanding indian food in a casual and cozy spot. Bombay grill of huntington food quality is tasty and fresh, we had chicken Tikka masala, lamb korma and garlic naan both dishes were authentic tasting and superbly prepared. I highly recommend Mohamed service, which was amazing. This is a best indian restaurant in huntington long island.

Had a great lunch at Bombay Grill in Huntington! I ordered the tikka masala, garlic naan, and tandoori chicken, and everything was flavorful and freshly made. The tikka masala was rich and creamy with just the right amount of spice, and the garlic naan was warm, soft, and perfect for scooping up the sauce. The tandoori chicken was tender, smoky, and cooked to perfection. I also had a mango lassi, which was refreshing and smooth—great balance of sweet and tangy. This place is a real hidden gem. Food is delicious. They take real heart in what they make, every dish is very well made and with great flavor. They have new wings on the menu which were incredible. I love the butter chicken as well, but also I havent had a dish I didnt like yet.

Wonderful place with great food...it is a small place which gives it an intimate atmosphere. We had many dishes and they were all superb and well-seasoned. Worth a trip... matter-of-fact, worth many trips!

Bombay Grill of Huntington doesn't disappoint. The food is very good, and spicy (but not overly spicy). Yasreen Mohamed provides adequate one-man service (along with the cooks in the kitchen). The space is small but serviceable. I managed to get a table without reservation in the late afternoon, but I recommend making a reservation. The chicken dum biryani, chicken saag, and chicken samosas are great!

Our outstanding visit to the Bombay Grill of Huntington Village practically across the street from movie theater with plenty of public parking across from the Post Office. Upon entering this casual dining spot we were greeted and seated by the host Mohammed and given menus and we instantly asked him for a few recommendations which started to get our tastebuds excited! The entrees we ordered were perfectly sized for sharing 2 peeps so you can enjoy the Indian food culinary experience. Our entrees began with “Chicken Curry” which was so tender and moist with a perfect creamy curry-tomato sauce and spices. Next enjoyed “Mixed Vegetables” also with spices, onions, tomato sauce cooked in coconut milk. With all that delicious sauces we needed to order the fresh “Tandoor Baked” garlic bread and also some Long Grain basmati rice to soak up the leftover sauces and clean our plates, yummy! Our happy ending was the Mango Lassi yogurt drink as a refreshing dessert. Everything was delicious and compliments to the Chef and thank you Mohammed. We Shall Return, Steve & Sandy
