Rakesh K., Owner of India Garden, was born in India and came to the US in 1996 to help with his family's restaurant in Indianapolis, Indiana. He worked in the industry for 15 years, with the ultimate dream of starting an Indian restaurant of his own. That time finally came when he had the opportunity to purchase Amole India. Rakesh used his life savings to purchase and start his restaurant in Bloomington, IN. His wife and three children still live in Indianapolis, so he commutes every other day to spend time with them.
