Very good Indian food with flavorful dishes. The naan, mango lassi, Chicken 65, and samosas were all excellent. Everything tasted fresh and authentic.

The menu has an impressive variety of authentic Indian dishes, all prepared with excellent flavors. The restaurant has beautiful décor and a comfortable atmosphere. Easily one of the best Indian restaurants in South Jersey.

Our first visit was fantastic. The menu offered plenty of choices, the portions were generous, and every dish was full of flavor. Friendly service and a great dining experience overall.

Absolutely incredible food from start to finish. Every dish was delicious, especially the tandoori shrimp, which was unforgettable. Can’t wait to come back and try more items from the menu.

I finally tried Sankalp and was impressed by every dish. The chili chicken momos were perfectly spicy and juicy, making them an instant favorite. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and worth ordering again.

The ice gola in dry fruit flavor was absolutely fantastic. We enjoyed a delicious vegetarian meal, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. A great spot for authentic vegetarian Indian food.

The saag was the best I’ve ever had, and both the dosa and uthappa were outstanding. The service was warm, and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere. Definitely looking forward to coming back.

Yet after that, they gave us free naan and some sauce that was literally AMAZING!! 10/10 shi was fire!! Staff was so kind and respectful, literally best people ever imo. I returned there a 2nd time with another family member who’s a bit picky but he LOVED it too. Y’all need to go if y’all wanna try some AMAZING Indian food!!!!! ??????????

We stumbled upon a gem after 3 hours of driving, 3 hours of flying on our way from Florida (Orlando) to Atlantic City. Angara lives up to all the fireworks its name intended. Amazing options, food quality, and service in a cute antique style but homely restaurant. Sandy provided spot on suggestions that tingled our palates on both vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian appetites. Highlights on menu we had was Palak (Spinach) Chaat, Gobi (cauliflower) Manchurian (spice lvl altered for little ones just perfectly), bullet naan (spicy but spot on again), angaari lamb masala (highest spice lvl requested and swear on my forehead didn’t disappoint at all). Recommend folks to try this place out either for dine in, take out or catering. Photo speaks for itself on left overs ??

Placed an order for pickup the order was ready on time. Orders chicken lunch box and chicken 65. We liked both the lunch box and chicken 65 was made as per the order and taste is good. Indoor ambience and vibe of the restaurant looked good aswell.

Sandy provided spot on suggestions that tingled our palates on both vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian appetites. Highlights on menu we had was Palak (Spinach) Chaat, Gobi (cauliflower) Manchurian (spice lvl altered for little ones just perfectly), bullet naan (spicy but spot on again), angaari lamb masala (highest spice lvl requested and swear on my forehead didn’t disappoint at all). I returned there a 2nd time with another family member who’s a bit picky but he LOVED it too. Y’all need to go if y’all wanna try some AMAZING Indian food!!!!! ??????????

Best Indian food we’ve had in New Jersey. They ask what spice level you prefer which is great. Excellent and friendly waiter. We found our new favorite place for Indian food. We ordered chicken vindaloo, aloo gobi, palak paneer and samosa for appetizer. Pistachio kulfi and ajar halaa for desert.

The Methi Malai Mutter stood out with its rich, creamy, and silky texture—something I’ve only experienced at top-tier restaurants. The Garlic Naan was perfectly soft with just the right hint of crispiness, and the Veg Manchurian was well-balanced, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Even the masala papad was fresh and added a great crunch to the meal. Overall, the quality, taste, and presentation exceeded expectations. Awesome buffet

This place was really good. Although the dining area didn't have many people, they say their busiest time is on weekends. They do offer takeout, and while we ate their several people come in to pick up their takeout. My wife is not being in to curry or spicy food.But you really enjoyed it as well.We'll definitely go back

Haven't had a chance to dine in but Aangara has become our go to for takeout Indian. Butter chicken seems to be a big favorite in this house and my personal favorite is the Lamb Rogan Josh Indian hot!! The nan is also great to soak up all those wonderful sauces.

This was one of the best meals. The samosa tasted homemade and the lunch platter was huge! And delicious.

Highlights on menu we had was Palak (Spinach) Chaat, Gobi (cauliflower) Manchurian (spice lvl altered for little ones just perfectly), bullet naan (spicy but spot on again), angaari lamb masala (highest spice lvl requested and swear on my forehead didn’t disappoint at all). This charming spot offers a wonderfully cozy atmosphere paired with truly flavorful Indian cuisine. However, the experience was slightly marred by a lapse in detail: the complimentary water was served in a reusable glass bottle that hadn't been properly cleaned around the seal. It was a disappointing oversight in an otherwise lovely evening, as the rest of the service and food were exemplary.

The mild was too spicy for me (not their fault at all my spice level is sad) but the samosas were so amazing! Food came out fast and fresh. They also gave us these little colorful chips that were so good I would go back just for them. I recommend!

We stopped by Aangara on a quiet Wednesday afternoon for lunch and ended up having such a great experience. Even though we were the only ones dining in, there was a steady stream of takeout orders, which felt like a good sign right away. Since the lunch menu was takeout-only, we went for the Thali—and honestly, it was the perfect choice. It’s such a fun and satisfying way to enjoy a variety of flavors all at once. We picked a mix of dishes including butter chicken, chicken with peppers and onions, shrimp korma, and mango shrimp. Every sauce was rich, bold, and packed with flavor. Even at a mild spice level, there was a nice little kick that kept things exciting. The platter also came with an assortment of sides that really rounded out the meal—crispy Hara Bhara, a fresh cucumber and beet salad, creamy cooling sauce, dal makhani, chana palak, rice, and warm naan. Everything complemented each other beautifully, and it was fun sampling a bit of everything. The gulab jamun at the end was the perfect sweet finish. We also tried the palak paneer on the side—it was good, just not our personal favorite since we tend to prefer a chunkier texture. But overall, the quality and quantity of food were fantastic. We even had plenty left over for another meal, which is always a bonus. Definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to!

The curries are full of flavor!! ???? The naan is some of the best I have had. The sizzling Malia Chicken Boti Kabob was fantastic ???? Very happy to have an Indian restaurant in Keyport!

Finally got to try the food everyone is raving about…. And it did not disappoint! Everything was delicious and served beautifully. Staff was extremely helpful. As someone with celiacs, it’s not always easy to find a large list of items to choose from, so I was pleasantly surprised and will be going back often! Oh- and definitely make sure you hit that dessert menu ??

Delicious food, attentive staff, large sharable portions (or lots of leftovers ??), will definitely come back again and again.

Tried this place once and now I AM IN LOVEE and the food there is FIREE!!!! They messed up one of our orders (didn’t even realize ??) and offered to change it and remake it but we denied. Yet after that, they gave us free naan and some sauce that was literally AMAZING!! 10/10 shi was fire!! Staff was so kind and respectful, literally best people ever imo. I returned there a 2nd time with another family member who’s a bit picky but he LOVED it too. Y’all need to go if y’all wanna try some AMAZING Indian food!!!!! ??????????

Amazing food! My wife and I enjoyed the food, lamb Korma and kohlapuri chicken curry are top notch and can go with Butter garlic naan.
