About Sahaita Inc

Sahaita is one of the largest Volunteers, NRI run Free-for-All healthcare NGO in northern India which provides critical medical assistance for orphans, handicaps, elderly, and those who cannot help themselves. Sahaita is a non-profit organization committed to educating, supporting and uplifting the underprivileged members of society. We accomplish this through healthcare initiatives, education sponsorships, vocational training and affiliated partner non-profit organizations. We are a volunteer run organization with 100% of donated funds going to our projects. We do free eye surgeries under our Gift of Vision program. In 2016 we did close to 800 free eye surgeries. Our Sahaita Eye center is open 6 days a week in Sarinh near Alamgir Gurdwara in Ludhiana district. The second Eye center is in open since mod 2106 in Machhiwara. Our latest project is Helping the Families of Farmers in Distress and we have over 75 families selected and our target is 100 families and on. Sahaita is registered in India under Sahaita India.
