Nithya is very dedicated in teaching music to the kids and my daughter continues to learn lot of new songs apart from her regular lessons ... one of the few schools where Carnatic music is taught in detail and with lot of interest!

My kids learn carnatic music with Ms Anitha. They love the music lessons and Ms Anitha is very patient, works very well with little kids , overall very positive experience.

Our young one has been learning under Dhara-ji for about 18 months now and we are absolutely thrilled with the learning experience. To elaborate: (1) There is core sincerity; a genuine interest in making students learn and appreciate classical music (2) The curriculum is structured but the teaching is not mechanical. Students are taught values of aesthetic presentation and discipline (3) Dhara-ji is super friendly, patient, and encouraging but the content is not dumbed down (4) The class size, format (group + solo singing), and use of technology works well (5) There is an effort by Ruchir-ji and Dhara-ji to cultivate a sense of community rather than just some commercially-oriented classes.

This is a very good music institute. The teacher Dhara Bakshi helps understand the basics of music very nicely. I am learning from her for last 2 years. They also conduct various activities for all students throughout the year.

I have now been learning for almost 5 years, I am in Madhyama Purna. The results & growth I achieved thru lessons has made my long-time dream of attaining a Visharad in Indian Classical music finally seem like a reality! Oct 2024: Update on my ongoing music learning experience at ICMSC. Has been three years now and it continues to be an amazing, enriching, & enjoyable experience. Dhara ma’m is very motivating and goes the extra mile to make our learning process fun and effortless. ICMSC has now added Live Tabla for some sessions which adds immensely to our understanding. Dharaji is super talented and gifted teacher - a rare combination. She is very patient, encouraging and dedicated. Ruchirji and Vagmi do an excellent job of keeping everything organized and respond to student queries in a timely manner. I really look forward to music lessons and feel motivated to practice. Blessed to have found ICMSC. If I could give more than 5 stars I certainly would.

Excellent preparation in Hindustani Classical music, and Bollywood music. Very nice, small, gurukul like learning environment. Have quarterly student performances and an annual recital.

Dharaji is wonderful with the young kids! She is very patient and kind but also motivates them to learn and practice. We have been doing classes online and it has worked out very well with no technical issues. Also, it is very helpful to have audio recordings on Google classroom to practice from. Overall, the classes and curriculum are very well organized and teaching methods are very effective, even for the little ones.

Dhara Bakshi is a great music teacher, and really makes you interested in what you are learning. Individually, she is an excellent singer, and is great at passing down her knowledge in a way that's systematic, efficient, and fun. I enjoy taking classes from her! If you want to learn, do so! Your life---both musically and generally----will be a lot richer because of it. I know mine is.

Both my daughter and I have recently joined ICMSC and our first impression about this school is nothing short of excellent. The management is very organized, the courses are well structured and communication is clear. Dhara ji is a super talented and patient teacher. She is very good with understanding the students' needs and capabilities to place them at the right spot for learning. Her great teaching style, supported with providing regular study materials, makes it an ideal place to learn music for both kids and grown ups. Highly recommend this institution.

Our family is fortunate to have my two sons (age 13 and 8) and I enrolled to ICMSC and learning from our teacher - Dhara Bakshi. With super organized notes, class discipline, a small teacher to student ratio, we feel very motivated and encouraged to learn and follow the highly focused curriculum. Dhara ma’am is a wonderful and patient teacher. She is good with teaching children. My child has been taking classes with her for six months now and I can see how much they have improved, in terms of confidence as well!

I feel extremely blessed to be a part of the school. Dhara is a patient, kind and very talented teacher. She makes her students feel very comfortable no matter what level we are at. I feel I want to practice more and do better and better in each class and make her proud. Even though they have their hands full, running the school at full capacity, I feel, she is always there if I have any question or if I need any help understanding the material. Dhara is a wonderful, highly skilled and talented teacher that one can have. She is very patient and kids enjoy her class too.
