Spice Grill Authentic Indian Cuisine this pleasant restaurant with pretty wall hangings and decoration is the sibling of a restaurant located in Germantown, Maryland.It sits in a shopping center on Wisteria Drive.The pike site has seen barbecue, Vietnamese and Middle Eastern restaurants come and go. Gomes has his work cut out for him. Fortunately, he has a sure hand in the kitchen and a friendly, attentive staff. The restaurant’s sienna walls sport Indian artifacts and native music provides a quiet background for dining. India Garden tries hard, using very good ingredients, including only Halal meats. With one exception – the tandoori chicken- is served only boneless chicken, generally the breast. The restaurant has strengths, including some of its sauces, tandoori dishes, and vegetarian dishes.

Rated 5.0 I have been coming to this restaurant since they were established in Rockville. I was very sad when they moved to Germantown. Despite their new location, I am always willing to drive in order to get their butter chicken. The food is delicious. Owner is very pleasant and friendly. Prices are pretty reasonable. Best Indian food in the area and mango lasee. I wish they will open another location near DC.

Rated 4.0 Exceptional buffet in the restaurant, and great catering too (everyone wanted to know from where the good food came). Everything has been very delicious each time I've been here; owner takes great pride and joy in cooking and delighting his customers with Very good food.

Rated 4.0 My husband and I had dinner at Spice Grill tonight. It was AWESOME. We shared the Happy Family Dinner for 2. We loved it. The tandoori shrimp were to die for and the rice pudding was divine. The lamb and lentil curries were wonderful. The soup of the day was excellent, I only wish that I had asked what the soup was. Definitely will be going back!
