Rated 3.0 Nice clean place. Usually have what I am looking for. A bit overpriced for what I am used to but it is so convenient so it doesn't bother me too much. The problem I had is with what they did to my husband who happens to be Caucasian. We went in together and bought two samosas and they were nice and fresh. He started craving another one and went back in 5 mins later without me. This time he was handed a burnt cold one from another pile. Being a nice guy he just took it but I still don't think what they did was very cool.

Rated 4.0 We love the chaat that this place serves, especially the pani puri. It's clean and no other restaurant in the vicinity has chaat this good. In terms of groceries they are pretty well stocked and clean. The only shortcoming is that they are overpriced compared to most other Indian stores in the Detroit area.

Rated 3.0 A-ok grocery store. Had its better days in the past in my honest opinion. Some times are a decent price especially the fresh snacks and sweets. They have Bollywood movies which are average...you never know how the quality will be. Other items can be cheaper/better value at other Indian grocery stores but it really depends on what you want to get. I do think they have a comprehensive selection of most standard Indian goods exported from India to the US.

Rated 4.0 I am a pretty big fan of this place. They have everything I have ever needed and tons of stuff I do not. If you know what you are doing, you can by individual spices. If you are half-ass like me, you can buy pre-mixed spices. They even make chaats and snacks and such, but I have never tried this-maybe next time. The staff is pretty helpful in helping you find things. You can wander over to Bailey's next door to celebrate your bounty afterwards.
