Three Sisters Yoga is a New York City-based yoga teacher training school that focuses on fostering a supportive, inclusive, and diverse yoga community. Founded in 2009, the school offers Yoga Alliance-certified 200-hour and 300-hour teacher training programs, as well as continuing education workshops. Their mission is to make yoga more accessible and affordable while maintaining high-quality instruction. The name “Three Sisters Yoga” is inspired by the Native American agricultural tradition of planting corn, beans, and squash together—symbolizing mutual support and growth. This philosophy is reflected in the school's community-centered approach, where students are encouraged to learn, grow, and support one another. Led by experienced instructor Jennifer Whinnen, an E-RYT 500 teacher with over 25 years of practice, Three Sisters Yoga integrates various yoga styles, including Iyengar, Vinyasa, and Katonah Yoga. The curriculum emphasizes safety, precision, creativity, and accessibility, ensuring students become well-rounded instructors.
