Zahra Restaurant is the vision of owner Khalid Jilani, an American of Pakistani heritage who grew up in the town of State College, Pennsylvania. Zahra Restaurant respects the diets and beliefs of all of its customers and makes every attempt to accommodate their needs.In accordance with the Jilani family's cultural heritage, Zahra Restaurant serves only Halal food and no alcohol is allowed.Our dine-in menu is labeled to show items that are suitable for specific dietary preferences as they are normally prepared, and we may also be able to make adjustments to other menu items if desired.If you have any specific dietary concerns, please tell our staff when you make your order and we will take special care to address them.

Rated 5.0 Simply amazing. I never ate Indian cuisine before but it was awesome. I had the fish wrap and my boyfriend had the chicken platter and we enjoyed every single bite. The food is made to.order so it's always fresh.

Rated 5.0 The decor is simple but culturally beautiful. The owner/chef greeted us upon arrival and offered his suggestions for dinner. He was very personable! The butter chicken was dish-licking good and something I will crave!

Rated 5.0 Just went here for the first time and it was AMAZING. The woman at the counter was extremely helpful and courteous and the food was delicious. My boyfriend and I got the lamb shawarma platter and he got the chicken seekh kebab. They were flavorful and large portions, piping hot and spicy. Then for dessert we got the Gulab Jamun which was EXCELLENT. I would recommend this place to people who aren't too familiar with middle eastern and Indian cuisine and those who are very seasoned with it, there's a lot of variety in the menu and everything sounds delicious. There were so many items on the menu that we wanted to try, we will definitely be back again!
