We had our wedding in October, 2020 and we could not be happier with our DJ crew. The Kurani Brothers are truly a magical duo when it comes to DJ and entertainment. They pour their heart and soul in making sure that every event is so personal and perfect. Raj spent countless hours on the phone leading up to the event to find out more about what was meaningful for me and my wife (from where to start the baraat to which songs are meaningful to us). There was a particular song during the actual wedding ceremony that meant a lot to us and Raj went out of his way to find that song and coordinate it with the Maharaj to make that happen. In addition, our Baraat was so lit because of the work that Raj and Jay put in. It felt like they were part of the event and dancing along with us while having so much fun themselves. Their music collection and execution was so pristine and they know what songs to play and when to play it to cheer the crowd along. We had guests afterwards come to us to especially compliment the music and ask if they could have a copy of the playlist. Jay was an all-star MC who made sure to keep moving the event along but at the same time, never sacrificing on announcing the highlights of the event. Raj is extraordinary at doing his dance-along bit where he will gather the entire crowd and make them dance to particular moves. Raj and Jay' s professionalism cannot be described in words. They were punctual, flexible, thorough, and delivered everything that we had talked about. We have been to many weddings and events where the dance floor fizzles out and that was one of our biggest fears with the dance floor opening at approximately 9 PM and going till 11:30 PM when our event ended BUT THEY HAD THE DANCE FLOOR BUMPING FROM THE MOMENT IT OPENED TILL THE TIME THE VENUE KICKED US OUT! Shirose Entertainment and DJ Ehta were a pleasure to work with. My club at Rutgers University hosted a charity formal where we hired Shirose Entertainment and we were blown away. DJ Ehta knew exactly how to get the crowd excited and made sure everyone was having a good time. His ability to hype up a crowd is second to none and his diverse music really set the dance floor on fire. They were so good that we hired them again the following semester and they repeated their magic. Their consistency is top notch and I would 100% recommend hiring them for any party you’re hosting!

Our venue had limited space for the guests to dance and the music to play, but Sorab and his crew not only made it work but made it so much fun. They provided audio equipment and music services for the Hindu wedding ceremony as well, and they did an equally phenomenal job. Shirose is great. Threw a party for my dad’s 50th and I had Jaimin as the MC, Krishna as the DJ. They did absolutely great and got everyone engaged. They swapped within Hindi, Telugu, and English. DJ RKG is the man, and one of the most professional vendors I’ve worked with. He DJed my North Indian x South Indian x Jewish wedding celebration of 400+ people. Here’s what makes RKG a great DJ: Accessible & communicative - DJ RKG always responded to my questions and requests immediately, even when he was traveling. He was willing to jump on a call whenever needed. I always felt like a priority, though I know he had lots of other things on his plate. Adaptable - As is true with any wedding, things evolved during the months leading up to the event and even the night before the event. Rahul was willing to make a change with no fuss, and even provided advice on event flow, MCing, etc when we needed it. Trustworthy & Resourceful - When we needed additional mics or screens, Rahul was able to source quotes and options for us. He helped us find a dhol player who was fantastic and knew how to work a crowd, at a very fair rate. Even when I needed help with things completely unrelated to DJing like decor, DJ RKG provided reputable recommendations. He showed up ahead of time and ready to go. Fun - DJ RKG lit up the dance floor. He knew the exact right music to play - we got compliments from our guests on the music choices. He offered the opportunity for us to come up to the DJ booth. Elite Events literally rocked the house (and neighborhood) at our at home Sangeet and left our reception guests calling us for 2 weeks after saying they have never danced so hard before. The entertainment and DJ are what make a reception, and Elite Events gave us not only a night we'll remember forever but our guests will as well. The production level of everything from the MC to the music to the LED screens and fireworks was spectacular in quality and organization. The staff was extremely professional and can't thank them enough. We ran out of seating as more people showed than RSVP'ed and the crew was quick to take action in moving the intros along and open up the dance floor to manage the people logistics for us. I have also never seen a sober reception that kept the dance floor packed from 9pm to 2am with almost 600 people, but Elite Events did it. I can not thank you enough for the most memorable night, it was like a movie. As time has past, our reception is still one of top events for our guests, and these guys made it happen.

There were many things we asked for that did not happen at my wedding. My father gave a playlist, and DJ Kash didn't play much of anything from the playlist - just some of the instrumentals. The list did include some dance tracks that he played but not many. He also didn't play the instrumental version of our entrance song and played it really late, we were already halfway into the entrance by the time it started playing. Furthermore, he welcomed everybody before my parents did, which upset them alot. Also, my dad asked not to have silences and to play low level background music at all times which also didn’t happen. He also only played a few of my husbands songs from his playlist. The songs he did choose were often inappropriate for my audience , with expletives. Low by Flo Rida was an example of this. For these reasons my husband and father were actively upset with the music during the reception. In addition, he was very slow to respond and didn't call my father back at all for example. He also charged 50$ per each remix of one piece of music and needed all the points where to mix the songs, so we made the mixes ourselves. I did try to relay this privately but got no response until this review. He did respond and apologize for the items mentioned, therefore I’ll update to 3 stars.

There were many things we asked for that did not happen at my wedding. My father gave a playlist, and DJ Kash didn't play much of anything from the playlist - just some of the instrumentals. The list did include some dance tracks that he played but not many. He also didn't play the instrumental version of our entrance song and played it really late, we were already halfway into the entrance by the time it started playing. Furthermore, he welcomed everybody before my parents did, which upset them alot. Also, my dad asked not to have silences and to play low level background music at all times which also didn’t happen. He also only played a few of my husbands songs from his playlist. The songs he did choose were often inappropriate for my audience , with expletives. Low by Flo Rida was an example of this. For these reasons my husband and father were actively upset with the music during the reception. In addition, he was very slow to respond and didn't call my father back at all for example. He also charged 50$ per each remix of one piece of music and needed all the points where to mix the songs, so we made the mixes ourselves. I did try to relay this privately but got no response until this review. He did respond and apologize for the items mentioned, therefore I’ll update to 3 stars.

We used DJ Kash for our wedding sangeet a few weeks ago. He did an excellent job leading the mobile baraat and the sangeet itself too. Our wedding was Fusion – Indian/American, and Kash did a great job getting everyone out on the dance floor. Kash was professional, communicative, and kind from the day we first reached out, the weeks leading up to the event, the event itself, and even the days following. He executed our detailed timeline very well. We would recommend Kash for future events, especially Indian/American ones.

I was so thrilled to have found DJ Kash to help make our Sangeet a memorable experience for everyone! I found him through instagram, as one of the premier South Asian DJ's in the triangle area, and after listening to his sets, I knew he would be the perfect fit for our event. We reached out, and within a few weeks, we had a signed contract, he had added at my request, a Dholi and I felt that he would deliver even though we'd booked him over a year in advance. Kashif is professional, fun, and can read a crowd and vibe incredibly well. He blended western music with Bollywood hits and for our Sangeet he played a live, mixed set which was DOPE. Our venue had limited space for the guests to dance and the music to play, but Sorab and his crew not only made it work but made it so much fun. We had a substantial number of guests who had never been to a baraat before but they caught the energy from Shirose, and we lost count of the number of people who told us afterwards how great a time they had. They provided audio equipment and music services for the Hindu wedding ceremony as well, and they did an equally phenomenal job. Our events started relatively early in the morning, but everyone at Shirose made the drive and got things rolling right on time. We can’t recommend them enough!

Shirose is great. Threw a party for my dad’s 50th and I had Jaimin as the MC, Krishna as the DJ. They did absolutely great and got everyone engaged. They swapped within Hindi, Telugu, and English. Aparna and Vinay performed at our daughter's Roka ceremony. One of the unique things was, since our son-in-law to be is Malyalli, we requested a malyalli song, and the two did an outstanding job! I hired this amazing duo for my husband’s 50th birthday. Right from the get go, I knew that they were the right fit for what I wanted and they did not disappoint. Aparna and Vinay, both singers of this group are fantastic. We had their musical program in last weekend. About 175 people attended it and everybody loved their singing. Their selection of songs was very nice too. Even though all our members are seniors, they became young and were dancing with full energy with the songs and the music. I will love to hear this kind of talent again and again.

As a musician, I have worked with several performers but this duo is electrifying. Their energy, personalities and talent just makes them stand head and shoulders above the others. Friends giving and a mehfil that will be truly remembered due the efforts of Vinay and Aparna from Mehete Sur. They had a unique way to become one of us (mind you we are middle school friends in our fifties) getting us all involved and even getting people with two left feet dance away. They both have great voices and more so the warmth and love they sing with. The range of songs from 1950 to 2022 they covered favourites and they truly became the jaan of our get together. Attended a 75th birthday part for a doctor friend and Mehekte Sur was the entertainer. We were all on the floor for over 2 hours on their Live singing and did not even feel the need for a DJ. The best thing was that they were on the flooor dancing with us. I have never seen anything like this before.

We had this lovely couple perform at my sisters pre wedding ceremony a year ago and loved their live singing so much we called them back for the baby shower event. Aparna and Vinay’s vocals go very well together.

Vinay and Aparna are electric! They performed at my Uncle'e Sangeet in Edison and absolutely killed it.
