There were many things we asked for that did not happen at my wedding. My father gave a playlist, and DJ Kash didn't play much of anything from the playlist - just some of the instrumentals. The list did include some dance tracks that he played but not many. He also didn't play the instrumental version of our entrance song and played it really late, we were already halfway into the entrance by the time it started playing. Furthermore, he welcomed everybody before my parents did, which upset them alot. Also, my dad asked not to have silences and to play low level background music at all times which also didn’t happen. He also only played a few of my husbands songs from his playlist. The songs he did choose were often inappropriate for my audience , with expletives. Low by Flo Rida was an example of this. For these reasons my husband and father were actively upset with the music during the reception. In addition, he was very slow to respond and didn't call my father back at all for example. He also charged 50$ per each remix of one piece of music and needed all the points where to mix the songs, so we made the mixes ourselves. I did try to relay this privately but got no response until this review. He did respond and apologize for the items mentioned, therefore I’ll update to 3 stars.

Hired DJ Sodhi for our reception and he was a total hit!! He made sure to play the right songs for our entrances (and last song of the night). We had hired the services of Tushar DJ for our son's graduation party. Both Tushar nd Rohan were very professional. They called us well in advance and asked us what kind of music did we want at the party. How will the mix be be between Bollywood and English music? On the day of the party they were there well in advance and finished the set up. They started off with some light music, as the teenagers were out playing on the playground. Once every one had their snacks, the music and the dance floor became the main attraction. Both Tushar and Rohan kept the energy levels high that no one was willing to leave the dance floor. At one time in the evening, we remember, one group was dancing on the floor and another group was in queue to get onto the dance floor. We had comments from many parents and other teenagers that they had a great time at the party. Thank you Tushar and Rohan for making this event a memorable one for us and especially for our son.

We hired Navya Entertainment for our son’s destination wedding in Cancun, Mexico. We wanted to pick the best Indian DJ service company to ensure our guests have the best time. We had multiple conference calls and e exchanges with Team Navya Entertainment to lay out event flows for three-day events. Team Navya Entertainment is detail-oriented, punctual, innovative, professional, and extremely entertaining. Approximately half of the crowd was American and the remaining people were Indian-born. Most guests flew to Cancun on the first day, the same night was a Sangeet night. Emcee Trushar entertained all the guests with his unique emceeing skills. I was so thrilled to have found DJ Kash to help make our Sangeet a memorable experience for everyone! I found him through instagram, as one of the premier South Asian DJ's in the triangle area, and after listening to his sets, I knew he would be the perfect fit for our event. We reached out, and within a few weeks, we had a signed contract, he had added at my request, a Dholi and I felt that he would deliver even though we'd booked him over a year in advance. Kashif is professional, fun, and can read a crowd and vibe incredibly well. He blended western music with Bollywood hits and for our Sangeet he played a live, mixed set which was DOPE. Everyone loved the music and would not get off the dance floor. Additionally, he was incredibly flexible- I had literally no direction for him (mostly because I trusted him) and he was able to accommodate last minute requests without complaints. And thank you Kashif, for encouraging me to keep the Dholi, because between the two of you, the event was more memorable than I could have imagined. Kashif made the space beautiful with his uplighting, which was a welcome addition to his standard cost, and set up and tore down with no issue in a very busy downtown Raleigh venue. I have never seen such a great MC (and I have been to parties with the most popular dj’s and Mc) DJ Krishna played a nice mix and his team was also very lively. Our wedding would not nearly be as lively as it was without Sorab, Krishna, and team! They worked with us months in advance to make our day as perfect as possible. It'd be an understatement to say they went above and beyond. Not only did they work with us, the bride & groom, but they also helped carry out a secret dance performance and accompanying videos with our families abroad! They worked with the camera and video crew to ensure we got the best shots with the perfect audio volume intake. Even with the craziest last minute changes to the agenda, they were very receptive and were able to handle it without any issues. The music was fantastic. We asked for a blend of modern english, modern hindi, and traditional Armenian music; with just those suggestions, they were able to put together a playlist that made everyone get on the dance floor - both young and old. Our venue had limited space for the guests to dance and the music to play, but Sorab and his crew not only made it work but made it so much fun. We had a substantial number of guests who had never been to a baraat before but they caught the energy from Shirose, and we lost count of the number of people who told us afterwards how great a time they had. They provided audio equipment and music services for the Hindu wedding ceremony as well, and they did an equally phenomenal job. Our events started relatively early in the morning, but everyone at Shirose made the drive and got things rolling right on time. We can’t recommend them enough!

Shirose is great. Threw a party for my dad’s 50th and I had Jaimin as the MC, Krishna as the DJ. They did absolutely great and got everyone engaged. They swapped within Hindi, Telugu, and English. Jaimin did really good job of getting the crowd situated and made sure the games and events were smooth.
