We had our wedding in October, 2020 and we could not be happier with our DJ crew. The Kurani Brothers are truly a magical duo when it comes to DJ and entertainment. They pour their heart and soul in making sure that every event is so personal and perfect. Raj spent countless hours on the phone leading up to the event to find out more about what was meaningful for me and my wife (from where to start the baraat to which songs are meaningful to us). There was a particular song during the actual wedding ceremony that meant a lot to us and Raj went out of his way to find that song and coordinate it with the Maharaj to make that happen. In addition, our Baraat was so lit because of the work that Raj and Jay put in. It felt like they were part of the event and dancing along with us while having so much fun themselves. Their music collection and execution was so pristine and they know what songs to play and when to play it to cheer the crowd along. We had guests afterwards come to us to especially compliment the music and ask if they could have a copy of the playlist. Jay was an all-star MC who made sure to keep moving the event along but at the same time, never sacrificing on announcing the highlights of the event. Raj is extraordinary at doing his dance-along bit where he will gather the entire crowd and make them dance to particular moves. Raj and Jay' s professionalism cannot be described in words. They were punctual, flexible, thorough, and delivered everything that we had talked about. Shirose Entertainment and DJ Ehta were a pleasure to work with. My club at Rutgers University hosted a charity formal where we hired Shirose Entertainment and we were blown away. Shirose is great. Threw a party for my dad’s 50th and I had Jaimin as the MC, Krishna as the DJ. They did absolutely great and got everyone engaged. They swapped within Hindi, Telugu, and English. I was so thrilled to have found DJ Kash to help make our Sangeet a memorable experience for everyone! I found him through instagram, as one of the premier South Asian DJ's in the triangle area, and after listening to his sets, I knew he would be the perfect fit for our event. We reached out, and within a few weeks, we had a signed contract, he had added at my request, a Dholi and I felt that he would deliver even though we'd booked him over a year in advance. We had a fantastic experience with our DJ! Before the events, we discussed the type of music we enjoyed dancing to and what we found annoying on the dance floor, like when DJs constantly remix Bollywood songs at the beat drop, making it hard for people to sing along or dance properly, which can lead to a loss of interest. DJ RKG is the man, and one of the most professional vendors I’ve worked with. He DJed my North Indian x South Indian x Jewish wedding celebration of 400+ people. Here’s what makes RKG a great DJ: Accessible & communicative - DJ RKG always responded to my questions and requests immediately, even when he was traveling. He was willing to jump on a call whenever needed. I always felt like a priority, though I know he had lots of other things on his plate. Adaptable - As is true with any wedding, things evolved during the months leading up to the event and even the night before the event. Rahul was willing to make a change with no fuss, and even provided advice on event flow, MCing, etc when we needed it. Trustworthy & Resourceful - When we needed additional mics or screens, Rahul was able to source quotes and options for us. He helped us find a dhol player who was fantastic and knew how to work a crowd, at a very fair rate. Even when I needed help with things completely unrelated to DJing like decor, DJ RKG provided reputable recommendations. He showed up ahead of time and ready to go. Fun - DJ RKG lit up the dance floor. He knew the exact right music to play - we got compliments from our guests on the music choices. He offered the opportunity for us to come up to the DJ booth. Elite Events literally rocked the house (and neighborhood) at our at home Sangeet and left our reception guests calling us for 2 weeks after saying they have never danced so hard before. The entertainment and DJ are what make a reception, and Elite Events gave us not only a night we'll remember forever but our guests will as well. The production level of everything from the MC to the music to the LED screens and fireworks was spectacular in quality and organization. The staff was extremely professional and can't thank them enough. We ran out of seating as more people showed than RSVP'ed and the crew was quick to take action in moving the intros along and open up the dance floor to manage the people logistics for us. I have also never seen a sober reception that kept the dance floor packed from 9pm to 2am with almost 600 people, but Elite Events did it. I can not thank you enough for the most memorable night, it was like a movie. As time has past, our reception is still one of top events for our guests, and these guys made it happen.

Shivish Entertainment provided DJ services, lighting and MC services for our wedding reception on Oct 13th at Milton Ridge. They hadn't (to my knowledge) worked for a wedding at this particularly comparatively small venue and despite some bumps in the road, they were able to master a great setup with high quality sound coverage throughout the room. They also did a great job of reading the room and playing music that they thought the guests on the dancefloor would like, combined with our own personal requests. I've been following them and supporting their business for over 5 years so my expectation was definitely that they would deliver a high quality experience at our wedding reception but they went above and beyond! They even added on extra uplighting to really give the room the right ambiance. MC Riju really drove the energy at the event with his roaring voice and killer dance moves. He carefully followed the highly-detailed script that I just provided on the night before, haha. They're the best of the best and I look forward to working with them again!

There were many things we asked for that did not happen at my wedding. My father gave a playlist, and DJ Kash didn't play much of anything from the playlist - just some of the instrumentals. The list did include some dance tracks that he played but not many. He also didn't play the instrumental version of our entrance song and played it really late, we were already halfway into the entrance by the time it started playing. Furthermore, he welcomed everybody before my parents did, which upset them alot. Also, my dad asked not to have silences and to play low level background music at all times which also didn’t happen. He also only played a few of my husbands songs from his playlist. The songs he did choose were often inappropriate for my audience , with expletives. Low by Flo Rida was an example of this. For these reasons my husband and father were actively upset with the music during the reception. In addition, he was very slow to respond and didn't call my father back at all for example. He also charged 50$ per each remix of one piece of music and needed all the points where to mix the songs, so we made the mixes ourselves. I did try to relay this privately but got no response until this review. He did respond and apologize for the items mentioned, therefore I’ll update to 3 stars.

There were many things we asked for that did not happen at my wedding. My father gave a playlist, and DJ Kash didn't play much of anything from the playlist - just some of the instrumentals. The list did include some dance tracks that he played but not many. He also didn't play the instrumental version of our entrance song and played it really late, we were already halfway into the entrance by the time it started playing. Furthermore, he welcomed everybody before my parents did, which upset them alot. Also, my dad asked not to have silences and to play low level background music at all times which also didn’t happen. He also only played a few of my husbands songs from his playlist. The songs he did choose were often inappropriate for my audience , with expletives. Low by Flo Rida was an example of this. For these reasons my husband and father were actively upset with the music during the reception. In addition, he was very slow to respond and didn't call my father back at all for example. He also charged 50$ per each remix of one piece of music and needed all the points where to mix the songs, so we made the mixes ourselves. I did try to relay this privately but got no response until this review. He did respond and apologize for the items mentioned, therefore I’ll update to 3 stars.

We had virtual meeting on phone with them multiple times and they greatly helped us plan the flow of our event and make music choices. Hiring Team of BollyBeatz for our wedding was the best decision. The atmosphere they created was amazing and lively. I requested them to organise the baarat at very last minute and without hesitation they made necessary arrangements which in a way made our entire ceremony more enjoyable. Our wedding was Fusion – Indian/American, and Kash did a great job getting everyone out on the dance floor. Kash was professional, communicative, and kind from the day we first reached out, the weeks leading up to the event, the event itself, and even the days following. I was so thrilled to have found DJ Kash to help make our Sangeet a memorable experience for everyone! I found him through instagram, as one of the premier South Asian DJ's in the triangle area, and after listening to his sets, I knew he would be the perfect fit for our event. We reached out, and within a few weeks, we had a signed contract, he had added at my request, a Dholi and I felt that he would deliver even though we'd booked him over a year in advance. Kashif is professional, fun, and can read a crowd and vibe incredibly well. He blended western music with Bollywood hits and for our Sangeet he played a live, mixed set which was DOPE. Everyone loved the music and would not get off the dance floor. Additionally, he was incredibly flexible- I had literally no direction for him (mostly because I trusted him) and he was able to accommodate last minute requests without complaints. And thank you Kashif, for encouraging me to keep the Dholi, because between the two of you, the event was more memorable than I could have imagined. Kashif made the space beautiful with his uplighting, which was a welcome addition to his standard cost, and set up and tore down with no issue in a very busy downtown Raleigh venue.
