About Aditya Sharma Hindustani Classical Vocalist And Teacher

Aditya Sharma is a Classically trained vocalist and teacher in the Hindustani music tradition of Northern India. He has been a disciple of the renowned maestro Padmashree Pandit Ulhas Kashalkar since 2007 at ITC- Sangeet Research Academy, Kolkata. He is a professional Vocalist and has performed extensively in India and abroad. Aditya has been teaching vocal music since many years at Gandharv Mahavidyalaya, but his professional teaching career began when he was appointed as the vocal music teacher at the prestigious The Doon School in Dehradun. After submitting his Phd thesis in "Voice Cultivation in Hindustani Music and Western Music. A comparative study", he moved to Southern California San Diego County, where he teaches and performs full time at "SangitaYoga", A Sacred music organisation/school based in San Diego.

Rated 5.0 Dr. Sharma is an incredibly talented vocalist and excellent teacher. He is welcoming to a variety of experience levels and is able to to provide the appropriate instruction and encouragement. Highly recommend!!
