About Amara Charity Organisation

Amara works to ensure that every child in foster care has the love and support of a committed family – as quickly as possible, and for as long as they need. Founded in 1921, Amara guides, prepares, and supports foster and adoptive families to ensure that every kid in foster care can be placed in a stable, long-term, loving home, and provides compassionate direct care to kids in their first few days of foster care through the Amara Emergency Sanctuary program.
