Rated 5.0 We live in NC and purchased both my wedding ceremony and reception lehengas, in addition to my fiancé's sherwani at Anita Dongre NYC store. Sonal was very helpful and patient while I was trialing several lehengas in August 2020. They had a great collection even during COVID times.  The bridal outfits start around 5K+. It's very apparent that the detail and work of the outfits are very well done with a higher quality than you'll find at other places in the NJ/NYC.  Sonal was also extremely particular and detail oriented about measuring us which paid off because the outfits fit almost perfectly.  The outfits were made in India and reliably shipped to us by January.  I returned to NYC for a dress fitting in May and will only need minor adjustments to my reception lehenga.

Rated 5.0 My husband and I began shopping for our 2021 wedding in 2019. We arrived in NYC from Chicago to shop for some wedding outfits and we ended up finding the perfect Welcome Event and Sangeet outfits thanks to Ms. Sonal. She helped us get fitted and also helped us find matching jewelry. Come 2020, we ended up pushing our wedding to 2022 due to COVID. Throughout the many months that passed, Sonal remained in touch and helped us make any and all adjustments to our outfits as our sizes changed. We went to the shop a few more times thereafter for more shopping and Sonal greeted us with open arms every time. We loved our experience with Anita Dongre and loved all of our outfits!

Rated 5.0 I've had Anita Dongre on my "list of designers to look into when I get married" way back in 2014. Seven years later, I still appreciate the simplicity in her designs. That is when I knew I wanted to wear Anita Dongre on my wedding day.I researched resellers in the US and realized the NY store was my only option. I met Sonal after getting a hold of the store. I shared my concerns as I needed a custom piece. I liked a specific piece but wanted it in a different color. Sonal worked with me throughout the entire process.Due to COVID, I couldn't get my complete fitting done in New York. Sonal shipped me my lengha which was packaged in it's beautiful green box. My wedding was delayed for one year and I was able to shed some more weight. This resulted in my blouse being very loose. I had two options: to have someone alter my blouse locally or go to NY where Sonal would work on it. I realized it was a a great excuse for a trip and I met with Sonal who took care of me again.The shop is located in the heart of SoHo. It screams Anita Dongre in every angle; it's essentially an art piece. All in all, I enjoyed my entire experience. From phone calls, to video calls, and the in-person experience, it was a pleasant experience.
