About Asha For Education
Asha for Education is a non-profit tax-exempt organization dedicated to socio-economic change in India. In pursuit of this goal, Asha focuses on basic education in the belief that education is a critical requisite for socio-economic change. In keeping with this focus, our volunteers get involved with and support projects that are secular and have an education-related component to them. Asha Detroit is totally committed to children's education, and it is our goal to keep it free of bureaucracy and to guarantee 100% of donations go toward projects. Any administrative expense would be borne by the volunteers who would also closely monitor the funded projects to ensure that the money is put to best use.
